Nicest marina in the Key West area. Always on-the-defense customer service keeps this pretty modern marina from five stars.

We got extremely lucky to go out on a familiarization sunset sail the day they got back into town from Jamaica, and we'll never forget it! While the other crazy tourists in Key West were doing the sunset booze cruises on the big noisy yachts, we had an awesome sail right in front of Mallory Square. Its amazing being on a pirate ship, sitting back and cracking open a cold can of ale while an entire dock of people ooh and awe and take pictures. Then for the best part; our captain fired the black powder 'canon' (that thing is small but LOUD!) and just about scared the pants off of everyone. Awesome. The crew was young but very experienced. They had a good time, but were dead serious and masterful when it came to operating and sailing their ship. This was an experience we will never forget. The only regret? No green flash. I guess we'll just have to go out again next time we meet up with the Wolf!

Getting married on the water is great, but if you really want to set your celebration apart charter the Schooner Wolf! Planning our sail was easy, even from a distance. Julie made sure everything was in order and always responded to my emails promptly. I must have asked a million silly questions, but she patiently answered every one of them and went out of her way to offer assistance in a variety of ways, like offering hotel and restaurant recommendations and procuring a cd player so we could play music on board. Since we'd already planned a wedding on the beach before we found out about the Wolf, we declined the chance to get married by Admiral Finbar and chose to use the ship as a sort of cocktail hour. It's BYOB, and we were able to drop off alcohol and plastic champagne flutes the day before so we didn't have to worry about remembering it the day of. I was a bit worried about getting sea sick, especially after I ended up over the side of a boat during a snorkeling trip two days prior! I would have felt terrible if any of our guests would have gotten sick, but we made sure the Bonine, ginger gum, and Dramamine were flowing as freely as the champagne, and didn't have any problems. Everyone had a great time, including my 3 year old nephew. He was the only kid at our wedding and I was afraid he would get restless, but Murphy kept him entertained when she brought him below deck so he could seek out the hidden treasure chest. He went into shy mode, but with a little prodding from his dad and me he found and opened the chest. The look on his face was priceless, and proudly displayed the pieces of "treasure" she let him take for the rest of the trip! The whole experience was wonderful. The crew was really personable and so much fun- they definitely provided a flair to the evening that you wouldn't get most other places! Toasting our new marriage on the open sea was lovely, and sailing right out toward the beautiful Key West sunset was unforgettable.

When you go in the Spa area doors, there is a sitting area. Those chairs... oh my! So comfy! I wish I could take them home with me! Be sure to try them out! You won't be disappointed. I didn't go to the spa. Breakfast at Blue Heaven is worth the walk! We had breakfast at Pier House and it was so meh! They charge for toast! Bacon was dry. Overall... so basic and not worth the over $90 for three people! Spend your money fot breakfast elsewhere! Blue heaven is your best choice. Now, the beach. Ok... its nice to be there. One of a few places that have a beach. Water is warm and there's a dock to "swim out" to and jump off the side. Be aware that little fishes and occasional angry crab and harmless nurse sharks live in that water! They have Costco floaties so use one for deeper leisure floating around! More for the beach.... sitting area. Although people are "enamored"by the chickens and iguanas... be aware that iguanas are an "invasive species" in Florida! They will come up among your beach loungers.. two three... four at a time! I think people have fed them. DONT FEED THE CHICKENS AND IGUANAS! It was so scary having big iguanas running under your lounge chair and saring you down! If you order food from the restaurant and choose to eat it at your beach lounge chair... be aware of this! My husband has been coming to Key West for over 30 years. He knows all parts well. This place is a GREAT location! Away from all the downtown Duval rif raff. Parking is $40 a day so plan ahead. Bikes and motorized personal transport are on the property for rent. Our room... you all gotta understand... its all set like a "Key West" vibe! Don't judge it like "dated 60s". Key West has that 60s-70s vibe naturally! Loved the room! The bed was pretty high up! I got a story about a woman who fell off a bed like this onto the hardwood floor and broke her back! Being of "average" height... you gotta position yourself to get up onto the bed! It was comfy. Of our week we stayed... the last three days...umm... there was an annoying rooster waking us up! Times between 6-7am! (Insert your Gen Alpa kid here). You'll be laying there.. enjoying the early morning then that rooster is like the alarm clock you didn't want! I googled about removing annoying chickens. They have traps to relocate them. Chickens are protected... iguanas are not! Antine care to tell me.... What's up with the TV in the bathroom by the sink area? I even asked at the front desk. They didn't know. Looks like it was from the 90s. If it doesn't work... take it out and just make it a shelf! Overall... would stay again. Just... you gotta know the "whats what" of this place.

Maybe I just didn't order the right thing, but my partner didn't enjoy his food too much either. Not worth coming twice to unfortunately in my opinion. Our waitress is what really blew it, overall very bad attitude. Seemed almost judge-mental. Didn't take away our used plates, which ending up making the small table super crowded, didn't check up on us, and over-all was mute the entire time serving us. Would come and in a blink she was gone again before we could ask anything. I understand waitresses can get caught up when taking care of multiple people, but there truly wasn't many people there. The Ambiance was nice, tables and overall space did look clean. We had an early dinner so there wasn't too much of a crowd. Bar had nice music. The aesthetic of the place is charming. Overall I'd give it 3 stars. If you're hungry and need a fill-me-up this is a good spot. Otherwise, if you can, I'd suggest you go elsewhere.

Great service at this restaurant. On my most recent visit, the views weren't quite as picturesque because there was a large amount of sargassum (seaweed) along the shoreline. A skid steer was actively pushing it into piles, and the smell was unfortunately pretty strong. That's obviously a natural condition and not really the restaurant's fault, but it did take away from the overall waterfront experience that day. Thankfully, the food was still excellent. The conch fritters are a must-order, and the fish tacos were absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh and was served quickly. The restaurant offers all outdoor seating with views of the beach and the neighboring hotel's sandy beachfront, complete with lounge chairs and umbrellas, giving it a laid-back Key West vibe. There's also convenient off-street parking nearby, which is a nice bonus. If you're exploring the Southernmost Point and want a casual spot with good food and a relaxing atmosphere, Southernmost Beach Cafe is definitely worth a visit. Hopefully, you'll catch it on a day when the water is clear and free of sargassum so you can fully enjoy the views.
