This was following a night time charter with a different boat in the area, and we caught twice as much fish and had a much better time with Sea Dog. The shared catch aspect was originally a deterrent for us, it's something we're really not a fan of. In the end it worked out fine though, and we were glad we decided to give them a try!

We rented Molly (21ft Switch) for one day and we had a blast! These boats are so much fun and great for the keys! We received an email the day before letting us know Molly would be ready the next day and also where to park, temperature, wind and seas information which was great and super helpful! Getting to the dock was easy, Thomas and Maryanne were there to greet us and help us with our bags which was wonderful. Thomas went over a little safety briefing and how everything works on the switch. We were thankful for a cooler with ice and a few drinks, as we forgot to buy ice for our cooler so that was great! After a few minutes, we were on our way! Returning back, Thomas and Maryanne were there to greet us again at the dock and help us offload our stuff. Everything ran smoothly and so easy and they were both so lovely to us! All in all, we had a great time and couldn't be happy with the service we received from Sandbarjetboats. We will definitely be back and rent from them again (if my husband doesn't buy his own switch! Haha). But we were very happy and HIGHLY RECOMMEND them! 5 stars all the way!

They exceeded every expectation. Captain James and his first mate, Allison, were absolutely fantastic. They were friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about making sure everyone had an amazing experience. The boat was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making for a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon on the water. The snorkeling itself was incredible. The water was beautiful and clear, and we saw an amazing variety of marine life, including colorful tropical fish, large schools of fish, small sharks, barracuda, and so much more. Every time we looked beneath the surface, there was something new to discover. One of the highlights of the trip was the dolphins. Captain James went above and beyond to make sure everyone had the best possible view. He carefully maneuvered the boat so we could watch them from different angles, and at one point he even got them behind the boat where they followed along, jumping and playing in the wake. It was absolutely magical and made for some incredible videos and memories that we will treasure. I would also like to recognize Tabatha in the office. She was wonderful to work with from the very beginning. She made the reservation process simple and stress-free, answered all of our questions, and was genuinely kind and helpful. It was a pleasure meeting her in person as well. From start to finish, the entire experience with Looe Key Reef Dive Center at Looe Key Reef Resort was exceptional. The staff, the boat, the snorkeling, the wildlife, and the customer service were all top-notch. We had an unforgettable afternoon and would absolutely book with them again. This is a pretty decent marina with facilities...pretty low-key, no frills and although no dock…read morespace, and we were in a 23' 3" fat Cat, nowhere was able to accommodate us at a dock, there were plenty of mooring balls and anchorage space! I think the view is nicer that way anyway! On the way dinghying up to the marina office, we found Brian living on Raggedy Ann who was an all around Mr Fix It guy who was willing to dive the boat and take a look at our engines later in the afternoon since we had to get towed in early that morning by TowBoatUS from 15 miles out (north) due to gobs of sea grass and crab traps eaten by our engines...(a whole 'nother story)... So, before all that could happen, we made our way up to the dinghy docks, which we stayed in the outers, easy access and tie off, because the inner dinghy docks were super tight and difficult to maneuver around in - even saw a couple of bumper boat incidents... I was amused, but that can get rather sticky when you're in that situation... The only sea life we saw here were a few brown little jellyfish. We made our way up to the office, only 2 people inside due to Covid, but let just one check in, no need for more. We were given 2 shower room card keys for use throughout our 24 hour stay and then we went on our way to lunch and run errands....there is no restaurant/food on the premises. I'd say that's one drawback. But Uber was easy - not the quickest to arrive, but once we returned, dinghy'd back and hit the Dockside Bar & Grill across the water for a drink, then back to our boat to wait for Brian to dive the engines... He showed up, cleaned all the stuff out and we were back in business! Later that afternoon, we grabbed our shower stuff and clothes, dinghy'd back up to the marina, got our showers....and me being the female - took a really long time! Although not the best facilities, so glad we had hot water and pressure... there are about 30 shower rooms and you might have them all potentially running at one time... hot and pressure necessary! The boys were waiting for me at the tiki hut/park area and then we dinghy'd back to our boat in time for sunset, cocktails and dinner. Was a lovely evening before taking off to our next destination.....the Bahamas!
