We got together with Dillan in Balboa Park and spent the afternoon filming and getting to know each other. I cannot stress this enough, getting this face time in beforehand, and getting to meet Dillan and see what a lovely person is, made us feel so at ease on our wedding day. By the time Dillan and his team arrived we already felt so comfortable and cared for, that it felt like welcoming another guest to the celebration, instead of feeling unsure of how to act around a camera. Plus, the gorgeous sweeping drone coverage they captured at our ceremony site seriously feels like something from a movie. Dillan was a fantastic videographer for our wedding day in October of 2022. Very nice guy and super professional in the prep and consulting process -he outlined exactly what his process was and what our deliverables would be in very clear language. In addition to all of the raw footage (ceremony, speeches, etc.), Dillan also produces a short 4-7min Wedding Day video to encapsulate the big day and enable us to rewatch some of the highlight moments again and again. He even incorporated our vows into the intro of the video, which gave the whole thing an ethereal sense of sentimentality before diving into the more "party vibe" of the second half of the video... it's a really cool end product to have, and we even bought a digital coffee table book to show it off the right way. Dillan even allowed us to choose the music for that video, which made us feel like we were part of the creative process as well, and certainly made the video feel more like "OURS" than if he had not brought us into the loop like he did. Dillan even seemed to have a good time on the day of... he was obviously there to do a job but it certainly felt nice to feel like he was enjoying being part of the day, and that in turn helped everybody there to be at their most natural and comfortable in the wedding day footage. So glad we found Stockham Media! From the very beginning, Brandon was a pleasure to deal with - very professional, communicative over e-mails and extremely detail oriented. We opted out of the love story film, but Brandon accommodated engagement photos in lieu of the film. Not only that, he did his research to find places that fit my vision, and we took our engagement photos last weekend at the Santa Rosa Plateau. We received the photos back today (exactly 1 week later as promised!) and we are beyond thrilled with how they turned out! It was risky as this was a first time shooting there for them, but our two photographers, Gavin & Dillion, made magic happen! Best part, our lil shih-tzu pup came along and also had a blast. Dillan and Brandon are an amazing dream team to work with. We found Stockham at a bridal show and were immediately captivated by the footage they were showing. They are all so laid back and relaxed that it's very welcoming. You can see the passion when they talk about their work. Prices were competitive, feedback responses were almost always immediate. Any time there were questions, Brandon would go out of his way to clarify. One thing I liked the most was that they never treated us as customers, but as friends. Dillan was awesome! My wife and I both really wanted a wedding videographer for our wedding and we were actually referred to Dillan by a mutual friend whose wedding he had just recently shot also. After getting in touch with him, we found his pricing was competitive and the best that we found from bridal shows, online, etc. On our wedding day, he showed up on time and was ready to shoot even thought it basically rained almost the entire day. Thankfully, I had bought some umbrellas at Target that morning and those kind of helped! Beautiful wedding photos and video at a crazy reasonable price!!! Stockham Media is everything you need. I stumbled across Stockham on weddingwire while planning my wedding and they are the best wedding decision I made. They use something called cinephotography, its complicated but they basically shoot video and photo at the same time. Its much more reasonably priced than photo and video separately and the product is EVERYTHING!!!!!! Let me start at the beginning. Brandon, who is the manager/coordinator of sorts, is A PLEASURE. He was so professional and delightful to coordinate our experience with. He was accomodating, polite, and always prompt in responding to my many emails. I never waited more than a few hours for a response from him. He eased all of my fears about my unfamiliarity with cinephoto and tolerated my many questions to try to be clear about the product I was getting. We also hired them for our engagement photo shoot. The company is based in San Diego, but they were very accommodating in shooting us in our home in Long Beach. The owner, Dillan, shot us for our engagement, and I must say that we felt an immediate connection to him! He is LOVELY! He has a great energy and spirit and is really amazing at what he does. I must say I left that shoot feeling not only great about the experience but genuinely wanting to be friends with Dillan! Furthermore, we received our all of our photo prints so quickly! We were elated! Stockham also shoots something called a Love Story, which is video footage where you get to share on camera your personal relationship story through a variety of questions and prompts. We shot ours at our wedding venue, and that was a blast as well. We were able to play it at our wedding reception and it was beautiful to relive that shoot. Last, our wedding day!!! We had a crew of at least 5 or 6 from Stockham shooting me and my husband as we got ready at our respeective locations and then at our venue. They were fun, relaxed and professional at the same time and put me at ease! Now that I've received all my footage, I can see that they were everywhere, catching all the details that day. Which is amazing because I felt like they were never in the way! Another special moment occurred when the owner Dillan who had been shooting my husband and the groomsman most of the day stopped by my bridal suite just to say hello and check in. This meant a lot to me as I had developed a great connection with him over the prior year shooting engagement and love story footage, and seeing his face before the wedding calmed me immensely. Finally, we were over the moon at the finished product! We received almost an insane amount of footage, all of it on a hard copy drive. Choosing Stockham Media made our wedding extra special. From our first encounter at a bridal show, they were attentive and genuinely caring. This made them stand out and after we had our first consultation, we knew we made a great decision. They are not only professional but overall great guys who take their craft very serious. We hired Stockham Media due to a last minute change of heart for a videographer. Initially, we were going to do without, but we were glad we changed our minds! We had hired another photographer well before meeting Brandon and Dillan. We later learned that the other photographer's contract was very limited with time even though we had explained what we expected. So we ended up extending our contract with Stockham Media to cover both photography (for the end of our wedding) and videography for the entire day. We are still so glad that we did! The quality of photos, their attention to details, their concern with making sure they got great shots by making sure the background was clear of people was amazing. Honestly, I regret not having met them prior to our original photographer because their photos, video, content and demeanor during the day of the wedding and during the love story was very pleasing, relaxing and professional. Dillan, Ben, Brandon and Tyler actually made me laugh and calmed my nerves the morning of the wedding after the other photographer had stressed me out. My husband and I have spoken about this and if we could change one thing on our big day... it would be making them our primary photographer and videographers. I cannot say enough good things about them. They don't know it yet, and I don't know if they provide this service, but we will be reaching out to them soon to see if they photograph newborns when our baby is born, if not, then we are definitely checking in with them before we hire anyone else. Let me start by saying that I honestly feel my husband and I found the best crew. Stockham media did our photography and videography for our engagement, wedding, and trash the dress after the wedding. From the moment my husband met Brandon and Dillon, he knew that was the company to go with. Boy, he sure was right, in this case haha Brandon, Dillon and their crew were very professional and patient, and the communication/relationship they had with each other was absolutely amazing. The day after the wedding all our friends and family kept telling us that the photographers worked so hard on our wedding and that there was no doubt that we were going to be blown away with their work. When we first watched our highlight film, I started shedding tears of joy. It was so touching. My husband and I watched it over and over again because we were completely blown away with all th the details that were captured. We were so pleased with our love story and highlight film of our wedding done by Stockham media. They are organized and professional. They were easy to get along with and made us feel so comfortable. We barely even noticed they were there on the day of our wedding but seemed to catch film of everything. We chose their 3-5 minute highlight film and it was PERFECT. I still can't stop watching it. Brandon and his team are amazing!!! The price they charge is so inexpensive for the quality of the videos and photographs you receive. I was a worried about the quality compared to other vendors prices. I assumed that we would suffer quality for the price. Then I looked up their work and I immediately knew I had nothing to worry about. We used them for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. They are extremely professional while still keeping a relaxed environment. Always with a smile and great attitudes. My parents had 8 kids and they shot each family individually. You can imagine how long that took. We were are talking about party of 33!!! Ranging from my grandmother who is 93 to my little niece who is 4. All sorts of people talking and kids running around at all times, yet they still maintained their composure never once making us feel as it was overwhelming for them. They made all of us feel comfortable and never made us feel bad about asking them to change something. We used them on 3 different occasions and each time they were wonderful. They filmed a "confessional/this is why we love you and thank you" video for our parents as a gift to be shown at their reception. It was beautifully edited and shot. They also did the video/photography for the renewing of vows, reception, and the next day "after party". I would 100% recommend them to all of my family and friends.
