This is the best UPS store in the area. I've been going here for years - the employees (and there are many of them) are SUPER happy to help and always going the extra mile. Always. Thank you Jeff! You've grown a great business. They don't over charge, and help get you the best price on whatever you're needing. I've used them to hand in return packages, make copies, get documents notarized as well as drop off my bag of used Nespresso pods. This week I even got help dragging 4 huge boxes from my car. In fact, another customer (who said he's been going here for 20 years) heard me ask for help and joined the procession out to my car to help as well! Where on earth do you get this kind of service??? This is an update addressing the owners reply because he is presenting the information incorrectly. The FIRST STEP was to present the asset sheet with the barcodes which I did. The other option was to present the pdf to him which I also did. I spent time on my phone trying to figure things out because he couldn't. He kept asking for some single QR code for all the items which the instructions NEVER specified. He is presenting that Incorrectly and what is more frustrating is he was trying to read that into the instructions as I was standing there, which is lame. He spent ten minutes trying to help be because (and this is important) he kept trying to repeat the same thing over and over instead of seeing if there was another solution. I would suggest to this owner to give the Aviara store a call and they can train him better on to handle this situation better. They were able to do it and he wasn't. Those are just facts. read more

Jeff and his team are the best UPS Store in San Diego County and I've been to a lot of them. I've been going to Jeff's UPS Store almost daily for over 8 years. As a Notary Signing Agent I have to drop loan packages on almost a daily basis. This store is very busy but also incredibly efficient. Very seldom do you have to wait in line (maybe around Christmas) as their team of well trained staff have you in and out quickly and with a smile. They always take care of people not nickel and dime-ing for a piece of tape as in many other UPS locations. Lastly, Jeff and his team are always friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I would place a negative star but the rating starts at one (1). This place is a con - Shipped a package for 2 day delivery and the shipment went out on USPS and not only that, their machine weighed the package at 4.01lbs so we were billed for 5 lbs $53 (Carlsbad, CA to Roxbury, MA) The 2 days would have the package delivered by 12/19/2025 but the USPS tracking is showing expected 12/22/2025 by 9:00pm. The UPS service guy (who would not give me his name) on 12/19/2025 closing time was unprofessional. read more

I had a huge issue with the UPS in San Francisco not delivering a package sent from this UPS store in Carlsbad, and he helped me get in contact with the store in SF, found the package that was not moving, and ensured they delivered it the next day. I was so anxious about not receiving the package and he handled it all for me. Huge breath of fresh air from some of the UPS stores I've dealt with up here in San Francisco. read more

They go out of their way to be helpful. If I call in to see if I have mail they never make it seem like it's a problem. They take and receive packages with a smile and a friendly "hello"! By the time she realized it was missing, your store was closed for the weekend. Not open again until Monday. I placed a review on Yelp and whammo you called. And then you really took it to the next level. Driving back the the store which is 45 minute drive each way on Friday night with commuting traffic both ways... Wow They don't make them like you anymore my man. So incredibly thankful. Warning! DO NOT RETURN Amazon returns at UPS stores. Numerous returns have not been scanned so the tracking provided by UPS is useless! I believe packages were Stolen! This UPS location is located on Encinas Rd. In Ralph's Shopping Center next to Hair Salon. In Addition this location charges $1.20 to print one piece of paper for you! My package cannot be located! UPS blames Amazon while Amazon blames UPS Stores for not scanning the tracking numbers on the merchandise retuned! Over $100s of dollars in items missing and no one is assuming responsibility! I have never had a return issue with Amazon. Only after using this UPS store have the tracking number failure to track. It still shows items is waiting to be scanned. I some what agree with Amazon as they have always provided worry free refunds. Since using this store for my Amazon returns it's been a nightmare of sorts. I hold UPS accountable for failure to scan the returns so Tracking numbers they provided are useless! I will be filing a claim with my credit card for stolen goods! read more

Disabled? Single mother? BEWARE! Boys club! They will lie, manipulate, purposely antagonize you, target you if they don't like you. I have never had as many problems at a UPS store as I have at this store location. Which means they were doing things on purpose just to drag out my transactions and create problems for me nearly every single time I came there. I am a wheelchair user with degenerative conditions, fighting forward as a single mom. I and people like me don't deserve to be targeted by unprofessional UPS store owners and their boys club. Oh, and I would not trust them to shred your private docs. They looked at my private docs themselves and spoke about it to the rest of the crew. They are always well staffed and friendly with everyone. - Most importantly, they know their business and double-check when they are unclear. This store steals packages!! We ordered Nikes and had them delivered there. We were talking to a very nice gentleman and this rude employee in a blue shirt got irritated and kept saying our package was not there. When we said it was signed and recieved by Dalton he said a Dalton did not work there. We showed him a picture of their store front that was in our tracking email and asked for a manager to get a better understanding of how the package just isnt there. he got argumentative then told us to leave.
