Lisa was fantastic throughout--very prompt to return e-mails, very accommodating. Her work was great--she got some really interesting shots of us, but also let us just be ourselves and do our thing (instead of having us do weird poses). She has great packages and did ours for the whole day--which is nice since a lot of photographers mess around with hourly rates. When she was there, she was a fly on the wall when we needed her to be (i.e., during the ceremony and the reception) and proactive when it was most important, such as helping guide my wife through the details (i.e., how to cut the cake) and get people organized for group photos. She was such a pleasure to work with!

Just attended a beautiful wedding there Saturday evening and was super impressed with the event venue! Modern buildings with lovely facilities (nice woodwork, nice layout, well-apportioned kitchen, modern bathrooms). Perfect for the wedding of approximately 150 people and easy parking. Limited cell service, but let's face it, this is in the middle of nowhere in upstate NY. If you logged into the WiFi at the venue though - worked great: nice perk! bathrooms were really clean and they had little toiletries and emergency products for people etc. The bridal suite was set up very nicely as well - really well done! A very fair-priced venue and from the beauty of the grounds to the quality of the buildings (a lovely chapel and reception hall), to the helpfulness of the staff, everything was superb! They set up a nice party tent outside the reception hall on the patio, for hors d'oeuvres and a bar. The Grove catered the food themselves and the meal was top notch! And what was monumental for us, was the pleasant attitude of Chris and her staff and their determined effort to make the day a huge success - which they did! As we discussed some challenges in the planning, Chris confidently said to us, "We can make it work"!! From that point I knew it was going to! What a wonderful day it turned out to be! He showed up early to set up…read moreand helped us with a MAJOR glitch we had involving the song for our first wedding dance, and also the music for our cocktail hour. To be clear, he wasn't supposed to start playing until after dinner, but THANK GOD he was there because I'm not sure what we would've done about our first dance AND cocktail hour if he hadn't been. He was such a calming and kind force as well, while the rest of us were running around like crazy. The technology he brings with him was SO FUN also - everyone had a blast with the text-to-photo screen - I also loved the lighting. He played the PERFECT playlist, PERFECT! As the bride, I needed to go mingle and thank all of our guests, but I kept wanting to dance and dance - every song was a HIT! DJ Mikey really made the party at our wedding, we got so many compliments on the music. It was just the perfect day and DJ Mikey was a big part of it! Thank you!!!!

It was clean, the water hot, there was a TV and mini fridge in the room, free wifi, plenty of clean towels, and the service was incredible. We arrived later than anticipated and the host greeted us warmly. The staff was amazing and when I accidentally left my phone charger in the room, they mailed it to my home. I've stayed in a LOT of hotels and for one at a modest price, Inn Towne Motel can't be beat.

If you're a conspiracy theorist, you'll love the wifi so weak that you can't connect to it with anything - laptop or phone. But if you're a weary traveler looking for an inexpensive place to have a hot shower and sleep for the night, you'll want something more name-brand. Trust me. The extra $10 you save by staying here is NOT WORTH IT. Not even for the free nightmares and hair left behind by the cleaning staff. Just driving up to this place gave me the urge to Yelp it, and that desire only got stronger the longer I stayed, which ended up not being very long because the smoke smell of the (non-smoking) room and the overdry air from the non self-regulating heater had me completely dried out within hours, the bed was scratchy, and I had the distinct feeling that the man in the room next to ours who bragged that he lives in this place for weeks at a time was hard at work packaging for transport either stolen goods or a body. Not interested in my belongings or my person being added to his inventory, I left six hours after I arrived, turning in my key to a silent, surly woman on my way out. Don't let this hotel happen to you. Go anywhere else. ANYWHERE ELSE. You won't regret it.
