Not a bad experience per se, but I can't say I'm happy with the results. I had several surgeries with him, including revisions, and including surgeries I never even really wanted but was talked into. I'm really only happy with one. The others will have to be redone at some point by another surgeon. During subsequent follow-ups, he viewed the results as great and normal, but I noticed my photos were not used anywhere, which tells me he also did not think they were awesome results. They spent an extensive amount of time on photos and videos so not using ANY post op material speaks volumes. He's a nice man (be warned he has a huge ego), but I'm not sure his promises delivered, especially when you consider the price tag. On the plus side, all the surgeries went smoothly and I didn't have any complications, so I'm thankful for that. The staff was also very nice. In hindsight, I just wish I had gotten several consultations with surgeons that specialized in particular procedures rather than getting everything done by the same surgeon. read more

I am pretty well positioned to give a review of Dr Stoker and team as I have had 3 surgeries and several non-surgical treatments. I lost almost 100lbs and wanted to have the extra skin removed. If I could give Dr Stoker and his team 10 stars I would. This is going to be a pretty long review so if long reviews aren't your thing you can just skip to the photos as a picture is worth a thousand words. Why I chose Dr Stoker 1. Quality: just look at his before and after photos 2. Qualifications: Experience and surgical background 3. Contours & Shapes the body: check out his photos for lift procedures 4. Customized Plan: He will customize the procedures to fit your goals rather than pushing procedures or an order of procedures on you. We came up with a plan together that I felt really comfortable with. 5. Compassionate: He truly cares about you as a person and wants to give you the best result possible. His entire team treats you amazingly well and they will go out of their way to get to know you as a person and not a number. Surgeries & Process - 1st surgery: lower face lift, neck lift, eyelid lift (blepharoplasty), arm lift (brachioplasty) - 2nd surgery: tummy tuck, breast lift - 3rd surgery: butt lift, removal of skin from that area and back lift 1. I was able to work with Claudia to help me figure out pricing and financing. She was absolutely wonderful. 2. Pre-surgery they are in constant contact to make sure you are fully prepared 3. The surgery itself is in his surgical suite which is connected to his office. Incredibly easy to get there the morning of surgery and get started. The surgical suite is very nice and top of the line. 4. He works with the same anesthesiologist who is great. She called me the night before to talk with me about past reactions to anesthesia, answer any questions and make sure I felt comfortable and prepared. 5. Dr Stoker will come in ahead of time and meet with you and make sure you are prepared - he will draw on the areas he will work on so there is a guide during surgery. I liked this because your body is very different standing up vs lying down in terms of where things settle. 6. After the surgery you are transported to an after care facility. I wasn't sure if I would like it but I LOVED it! You don't have to worry about anything and they are staffed by nurses for pain control etc. There is a kitchen that makes the most amazing smoothies, soups and scrambled eggs. They will help you to wash your hair when you are ready and get up and out of bed to go to the bathroom etc. and make sure you're prepared to go home. 7. Dr Stoker and his nurse came to visit me at different times to check on me and make sure I was recovering ok and check on the incisions. 8. My recovery after the surgery was pretty standard and I didn't have any issues. I had full access to get ahold of Dr Stoker and his team whenever I had questions or needed help with anything. Results 1. Amazing Results: I think my results are amazing and surpassed my expectations! The nurses at the after care also said how good my results looked and that they always see that with Dr Stoker's patients. 2. Minimal Scarring: One of my biggest concerns was the scarring. For the facelift there are literally no scars. The incisions were behind my ears and along the line of the inside ear. For the areas where there are visible scars like my tummy tuck and arms the scars are so light you can't see them unless I point them out. 3. Natural: I can't believe how natural my results look. No one can tell that I've had plastic surgery. I don't mind telling people and they are always shocked. 4. Long Lasting: I am now 4 years out from my first surgery and a year and a half from my last one and the results have really held up. Non-Surgical Procedures 1. Botox 2. Filler - cheeks 3. C02 laser in office 4. Microneedling with PRP Stacy has done all my procedures and she is wonderful. Like with Dr Stoker she is very focused on making sure your results look natural. She will also give you guidance on your skin care routine. She is very accommodating with me because I"m such a wimp so she will always offer a numbing cream for me and any other pain management options available. Most people don't need that but like I said I'm a wimp. :) From start to finish every interaction I have had with Dr Stoker and his team has been amazing. He may very well be good but the cost is definitely too exorbitant for me. Over $16,000 quoted for a mild grade 2 gynecomastia which definitely puts him at the very top when it comes to cost. This was for gland removal and some minor Lipo which would be done under local. The consult was over a year ago so might even be more now. I appreciate the time for the diagnosis from the Doctor and the pricing info from Danielle though. read more

I don't know how many people can say they look forward to getting shots in their face--little ones, mind you--but I am one of them, thanks to this incredible staff. About a year ago I came across Dr. Stoker's impressive reviews and decided to have a consultation for submental liposuction: chin lipo; I ended up not going through with it at the last minute due to health reasons but had paid a hefty deposit. I'm mixed sharing this next part because every situation is different and don't want to be used as an example, but I was given the "ok" to use my deposit as a credit toward injectables. Which brings me to ~my girl~ Stacy. I've seen several injectors over the years with varying results. Several things set Stacy apart from the rest--in no particular order: her talent, expertise, bedside manner, her artistic touch, punctuality, and her personality. I always leave feeling seriously WOWed by the reflection in the mirror and feeling great from our respective conversations. I've seen Stacy 3-4 times which I believe is enough to truly know if the injector has true continuity in their skills...and she does. The result of your cosmetic surgery is directly related to the surgeon you choose. I had thought about having a face-life for years. I had noticed after the age of 55 that my appearance began to change. I felt that my face no longer reflected my attitude nor my energy. I had noticed subtle differences in the way people were treating me, especially in business. As a man I wanted to look younger but did not want to look like I "had work done." I searched for the right surgeon for years. First off, I was very apprehensive about having the surgery, but still I scheduled an appointment to see Dr. Stoker. When you meet Dr. Stoker you will immediately have a sense that he is a consummate professional. He exudes confidence and if you are good judge of character, like I am, you will realize that this guy knows exactly what he is doing. He made recommendations as to what would be best for me. I questioned all of them but in the end, his authenticity won me over and I went with his recommendations. I am glad I did. He does this every day and knows what will yield the best result for you. I scheduled a face and neck lift and did not waste time booking the surgery months out. I did not want to anticipate it for months, so I made myself available for a time that opened up and my surgery was about 4 weeks from my initial consultation. Then I put it out of my mind as much as possible. I am the kind of person whose imagination takes over very easily and there was a brewing sense of anxiety in the weeks prior to the surgery. Yet I forged ahead. When I finally paid for the surgery, I was committed. I knew I wanted to look better and I knew Dr. Stoker was the surgeon who could make it happen. I was all in. His anesthesiologist called me the night before with the usual protocol about preparing for a surgery. However, she sensed my anxiety and spent over thirty minutes on the phone with me answering all of my questions and concerns. This was, in my opinion, above and beyond the call of duty. I was able to sleep that night. Dr. Stoker met me before my surgery, took pictures, made some markings on my face and talked to me about the procedure. The procedure takes place in an operating room attached to his office, which gave me a great deal of comfort. His nurses are thoroughly on top of their game. I would say he recruits only the cream of the crop in regard to staff, particularly his nurses. I walked in the operating room myself and laid down. I woke up and it was over. I went to a recovery center for two nights, where you basically sleep and eat. There is considerable discomfort at this time, not pain, as they give you pain killers, which I stopped taking within 48 hours, just a feeling of your body being out of whack. The pain was never an issue. This period is the most challenging. You must keep your eyes on the prize, because rest assured you are going to be glad you did it. I would recommend that you do not look in the mirror the entire first week, as you are swollen and bruised. You must bear in mind that the final result will be a few months away. You must also not let your imagination take over. Just let the healing take place and trust in the process. I am fourteen weeks out as of the writing of this review and I am delighted with the results. I would say I look 15 years younger, moreover I look more vibrant and energetic. I am 100% happy with the result, even though for the first two weeks I questioned my decision (I am told this is typical). My excellent result is in no doubt due to the skill of Dr. Stoker and his wonderful staff. I have told fewer than five people that I was having the surgery. Only those closest to me. Yet I have been told several times, by those who see me occasionally "You look great." Or "Your skin looks great." Not one person has asked about cosmetic surgery. You may think that they are just being polite, but in my business, they would not hesitate to ask. I look younger and I am being treated better. Younger people can, perhaps without even being aware of it, be dismissive of older people in their expressions and gestures. I am very in tune to people and had begun to notice such things. I can say unequivocally that is no longer the case. It feels wonderful to look young again. Dr. Stoker is immensely talented. I am glad I followed all of his recommendations. I definitely picked the right surgeon and it has been a life changing experience. If you are thinking of having cosmetic surgery, I will say that the recovery is a challenge, but worth it. Much of the apprehension I experienced in the recovery process was related to my own fabricated concerns.
