Stay away from these scammers ! I wrote my inital review (almost 2 years ago) 3/5/2020, scammer Robert H replies in 11/2021, what does that tell you ? Didn't stumble back into this mess untill today. These people try to do shady practices, will show you a sheet, say this is 699, or 899$ and turn around and double it. If what Robert H claims to be true according to the reply, where he said I needed one treatment over the other, then why take my money and do it anyway? (UNETHICAL) I later found out I had my procedure done by a dr who was'nt even a plastic surgeon ! Anyone reading this , look at my review and pics would you pay 5k+ $ to go through pain for very little result. Really, Robert H , you have documentation that I refused one treatment over the other? Where? I have all my medical files sent by you, are you now cooking up a story ? You were never involved in the primary consultation. Dr Daniel edward oconell, did the surgery , he is not a plastic surgeon and is not on the website anymore, wonder why ? This place rotates DRs out faster then clowns in a circus.... For the love of everything, don't go there. I found an REAL plastic surgeon and have gotten amazing results. According to the surgeon, these people did a very, very poor job. Yes , you might have to pay 10K$ more , (I am not rich, its a lot , trust me ) than what these scamers might quote but you get what you pay for. These people are not Ethical. You literally get what you pay for, if they are trying to sell you a medical procedure like a 3rd tier used car salesman , don't fall for the low prices they may offer like I did, you will pay for it with dissappointment and money. I had gained A LOT of weight during the pandemic (30+lbs) and decided that I would have liposuction. I had my smart lipo 360 performed on 9/9/20. I cannot sing the praises of Dr. Robert and his staff enough! During my consultation, Dr. Robert gave me "reasonable expectations" and exceeded them by far. He even suggested that for optimum results, I try to a few pounds before my surgery, which I did (that also saved me a bit of money!). The surgery was a breeze, and he continued to ask if I was ok throughout the surgery. His nurses during the surgery were very kind and nurturing. I also can't praise his staff enough. They have been patient, kind and warm throughout my entire surgery journey. I want to preface this by saying I loved my surgery experience at Los Angeles Liposuction Centers. The doctors were extremely kind and warm, and I couldn't have felt more comfortable before, during and after my surgery. My results, however, turned out extremely lackluster. I had lipo 360 over a year ago, so there has been plenty of time to heal. Now, there are several uneven areas, as well as lots of hard bumps throughout. The profile of my stomach is also uneven, with a bump clearly sticking out of the center. I was also left with 10+ scars which I wasn't informed of. One of which is right in the middle of my chest. In my follow-ups, I was assured I looked great. But the image in the mirror told me otherwise. I have gotten several other opinions from other doctors, and they all agree that the procedure was not done correctly. I'm currently shopping around to have a revision done, and I will have spent more than double what I initially set out to spend. read more

Wow, where do I start? Dr. Robert for one is amazing. I had my consult with him and he broke down my options for treatment based on my body type and price tiers. He has great energy and you can tell he really cares about his patients. I felt very good knowing he would be the one to perform my procedure. The staff prepares you for the before, during and after, so it's really important to follow the preop and after care. Things to prepare for: the procedure itself was a little more than 3 hours ( I had my upper and lower abs done). When you're done, you will be SORE because let's face it, you're getting all of that bad fat sucked out and it's pretty intense. Terrible experience. Had SmartLipo on my thighs in November 2019. My results are horrendous. The back on my thighs look lumpier than ever. I contacted their office several times to get a revision and the girls in office gave me the runaround. Had my consultation in Beverly Hills, however they don't perform services there. I had originally scheduled an appointment for early January. I called on Nov 13 2021. I have the phone record and changed the appointment. I called the office and they have no record of it. I was looking forward to consult because I had another right before I called and found it was really expensive at 12,000. I am not even that fat so I wanted to see what they would come up. I called the office and they have no appointment in my name for the 23rd. So obviously someone dropped drop the ball and the lady I spoke with will not accommodate. Dr. Castillo work is just amazing. I went to the office in Encino Ca When I say you would wanna book with him because your body will thank you for it. I had smart lipo in 8 areas and you can't even tell by any incisions marks left on my body. Due to my Dark skin I was very worried because my last doctor didn't care and left marks. With Dr Castillo, he made sure to go through areas where you can't tell, and even after a week when I went back to get my stitches to remove you can barely see the scab/ mark where the needle with through. Update: I wrote about my initial consultation with Dr. Robert and now I would like to update my experience with him and his staff. I was scheduled for smart lipo and tightening. I was greeted by a great staff whom I have been in close communication with all during the process. I then went into my pre-op room with a very very friendly nurse, Kristina. She was very calming and professional and most importantly warm and caring. She prepared me for my procedure and informed me about what was to come. During our time together I had gotten to know her as she got to know me. I felt very comfortable and relax knowing I was in good hands, before during and after. She would be the nurse in the surgery room and afterwards. She took my blood pressure and it was slightly elevated so we waited a few minutes and it was still elevated. After an hour Dr. Robert came into the room to inform me that due to my BP being high, that my procedure would need to be rescheduled. I was in shock and sadden about the news. Dr. Robert took the time to educate me about the risk that would be involved "if" he would proceed. WHICH IN THIS CASE HE WAS NOT GOING TO. He talked to me with such an open heart and compassion as if I was his own family member about the importance of me getting my BP in order and to be looked at immediately. He couldn't express enough the importance of ME to talk with my primary care doctor about getting my BP in a place of healthiness. Dr. Robert is the first doctor who REALLY took the time to explain to me the importance and seriousness this matter can be to ME and my LIFE. Once I was in a space to calmness, Dr. Robert took even more time to talk with my Doctor's assistant to share this information and arranged for me to see him on Monday. Dr. Robert went the extra mile to make sure I was taken care of and that I had an appointment. Once he left the room for me to change back into my clothes, Kristina notice the sadness on my face and said, "look at the bright side of life, this is your life and you need to know these things in order for you to continue living a full life." and " once you have your BP in order come back and do the procedure and know that you are healthy enough to enjoy the NEW YOU." Her words of wisdom and truth helped me greatly. Kristina is the nurse everyone needs to have in their life. Between Dr. Robert sharing his heart of concern and most importantly his care for me and Kristina being a pillar of calmness, I left the office knowing I have work to do and I need to shift the importance that life is on the inside of me and not the outside. I only have great things to say of Dr. Robert and I don't know how I can ever repay him for his time and care he poured into me. If you are looking for a Doctor who cares and will only do what is right plus not to do it for the money, ($$$) YOU are and will be in great hands with Dr. Robert. I am about a month and a half out post-op and SOOO freaking happy with my results. Dr Robert was my doctor, I got smart lipo on my chin, lower stomach and inner thighs. He did such an amazing job and it was such an easy surgery. Pain level 0, easy recovery, I was out and about literally the next day. Barely any swelling, zero bruising on my chin, slight bruising on my stomach, which went away in a few days. My results look better and better every single day. LA Liposuction Center is amazing! I am so grateful to have found this place. I had my double chin removed and extremely happy with the results. I had never done this kind of procedure before and heard so many horror stories about liposuction. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Robert during a recent consultation. I have a few small problem areas that I cannot get rid of with diet and exercise. Let me start with how easy it was to obtain an appointment. Using their website and "contact us" option, I was responded to by the next day. When I called to schedule the appointment, I was able to get the location and a day that was perfect with my schedule. I had to wait a few weeks, but I would expect as much having such specific scheduling needs. After waiting for several weeks and driving 30 minutes to their office, I received a text that said "we need to reschedule your appointment." Nooooo! So I called the office and explained to Daisy that I was already there. She said the doctor was delayed in surgery and that I would have to wait. No problem! Consultation begins. Dr. Robert is a very personable doctor. He has a lot of energy, a good sense of humor and explains things very clearly. He starts with a medical questionnaire to determine candidacy. Then, he has you step on a scale (just mean lol) and proceeds to calculate your BMI. It doesn't matter how small the area is that you want to have done, there is a significant increase in charge, per area/side, if you are over on your BMI. That was a bit of a disappointment. I have to lose 10 pounds to be "normal" and by then, won't feel that I need lipo. Dr. Robert did explain the reason very well and it did make sense; however, I personally didn't feel that my areas of concern warranted such a big jump in price. But, it is how they do things and I respect it. It is a business, after all. I am super impressed with how Dr. Robert explained the BBL procedure. I was thinking that I wanted some of my junk to go into my trunk, but with his explanation of what REALLY happens, I was quickly deterred. So let me start by saying tonight is my first night of recovery since getting the procedure done earlier today. I am amazed as to how I'm feeling. It's been about 13 hours and I'm feeling no soreness, maybe a little itchy at the insertion sites but overall no pain or soreness (this is without taking additional pain meds other than what was given during the procedure). I had multiple areas done: inner thighs, arms, chin/neck, and hips (did a correction on dog ears that formed from a tummy tuck I had gotten from 7 years ago) which I'm sure is going to look fabulous. The staff from the front office to the nurses were just wonderful. Evita and Darla took such great care of me during my procedure. I was in awe as to how nice a courteous they were. So I want to start by saying that the whole office in Encino are all very nice and all have excellent customer service skills. My doctor is Dr. O'Connell I had my Abdomen, Love Handles & Bra Back Fat removed and that is Exactly what he did. I am very grateful & happy with his work Dr. O'Connell is so understanding and listen to exactly what was making be unhappy about my problem areas. It's been about 3 week and I am still swollen but I can see how great I am going to look once the swelling is gone. Now lets get to the TRUTH well MY TRUTH about Laser Lipo: I watched a lot of youtube videos and This office treats procedure like an operation! 100% sterile environment in it's own procedure room not in the consultation room. Now for my procedure there is NO Way you can go back to work the next day (unless you can work from home) with all that drainage. You defiantly need a couple of days and include the weekend again that depends on what you have done. All I have to say is Dr. Robert is the best, & this procedure has been a Godsend! Coolsculpting didn't workout as well as I wanted, so I resorted to smartlipo.
