However, after the office switched to a new dentist, my insurance was no longer accepted, something no one ever informed me of. I continued attending my regular cleanings for nearly two years, assuming everything was the same, only to receive a bill for almost $500 covering the visits. It took me three weeks to finally reach the business manager, who told me there was nothing she could do and that I was responsible for the balance. I'm extremely disappointed in the lack of communication and transparency. Patients should be notified immediately when their insurance is no longer accepted, not left with a unexpected bill a year later.
