The first when he was able to make himself available to us and the second when he yelled at my wife. When we were going weeks without a showing, we never heard a word from him. When our agent asked us to do something (replace carpet, paint entire interior, upgrade appliances), we turned it around in days, nothing help, and we rarely received feedback for showings.

The only reason I can't give five stars is because toward the end of the process everything prior to closing was very rushed. Final numbers were delivered until the day of closing. This concerned me since I had questions throughout about property tax and fees. Everything ended up working out very well but those last few moments were enough to stress me out. I would recommend them for the future. Due to Covid I never actually visited the office. And never met anyone in person. I know phone calls happened all times of the day and even when some of the staff were out of the office on vacation days.

If I had any questions, which was rare because of the fact that he told me everything, I would hear from him that day. Trust me people... that is rare for a builder to be prompt. I had an issue after my warranty was up. Todd fixed, or had it fixed within 24 hrs. It was a Sunday... and not a single fee for it.. still to this day think he payed from his own pocket. Again rare.. so I bought a home for 210k. Which would of been. 250k anywhere. Else. Plus tons of extras from a normal builder, but with Lifehouse they were just how he builds..... perfect house... have friends in the trades, they saw nothing and told me that they dont know how Lifehouse could build such a nice home for that price. We have decided to finish the un-finished basement ( we did not build this house, we bought it after it was completely built). The best thing about this company is they had the plumbing already there if you chose to finish the basement. But we have noticed that the floor joyce between the basement and main floor did not have proper amount of joycing put in. In all fairness we did not contact him about this, he moves very slow on returning phone calls. We did not want to slow down our process on finishing the basement. Also our hot water heater and furnace unit was installed directly in the middle of our basement.. now that's not the worse thing, but sadly there would have been a lot more open area if they had chose to install everything in the corner like other basements. We have also realized that a few of our steps started to cracked and the steps were not leveled out when installed in the basement. And outside our home we've noticed that our steps have started to crack, now that was a less than a year after living here. We had called and talk to the builder about it.. The builder said read our packet that was issued to us during the walk through. I understand this builder like most builders usually try to build as quickly as possible. If you buy a house from this company make sure you do a walk through slowly, we were rushed through our walk through. In reality if you want something right, you would build the house saying everything you want and you're involved with the build. In reality knowing what is done right and wrong. This builder is hard to get a hold of, you usually have to email him. In the end we are happy with our home, but paying for a ranch that cost over a QUARTER MILLION DOLLARS ( upgraded model) it should be darn near perfect.

We were so impressed with the workmanship and quality of this builder. Blums attention to detail in his homes stands out over the many homes we inspected. Don Blum is one of the hardest working guys i have ever seen. As i see him working many late nights on the other homes in my neighborhood. My husband comes from a building family in Ohio and he recognizes good work. They made the home buying process a pleasure as they are easy to work with and a very easy going couple. Despite the steep prices, you'll enjoy hearing your upstairs neighbor & his heard of buffalo dropping bowling balls and throwing parties on random Tuesdays. In the summer time, the pool is beautiful but you'll have to sneak a beer in and if a Karen is camped out there, you will most certainly be fighting about the volume of your rock music. If it's rap music she'll call the cops. If you do decide to rent from this place, make sure you put your notice to vacate at least 60 days in advance. Staple it to the receptionists forehead so they get it. have a few extra thousand dollars laying around to move out because they will charge you for anything and everything. Oh also, the garbage trucks run at all hours of the night and day and they toss those dumpsters around for funzies. This is the last thing I'll say. There are so many adorable little bunny rabbits running around. One little baby bunny passed away in the grass and I called to let them know because there was an entire generation of maggots posted up in the bunny carcass but they said they couldn't do anything about it. So I walked past a dead bunny every day for months. It is burned into my memory. RIP critter. All in all, it is a peaceful place to live. The maintenance guys are cool.

He was knowledgeable and polite.The apartment was maintained beautifully as well as the property which never seemed to have trash about either.Such a nice experience that I wanted to share with the entire world!
