Over the years I have been at 3 co-working spaces in Pasadena and CTRL COLLECTIVE is far and away the best. Best location off of Arroyo. Best equipment -- good wifi and great quality computers in the event I need one. Most privacy when I need it for phone calls. Easy to use the printer when I need it as well. And Gia and the front desk staff are helpful and humane. I say humane because I can occasionally be a bit helpless and they are always very quick, kind, and helpful. Finally, the atmosphere is good and always work-friendly. A few years back I worked at a different coworking space in Pasadena and on weekends it would get very loud. Like, screaming kids loud. CTRL is really respectful and always helps me be productive.

There was a little background noise in the common areas, but nothing excessive I wore earplugs (or you could easily wear headphones) and had no trouble focusing. One unexpected perk was the body doubling effect of being around other people who were also working. It made it much easier for me to stay productive and on task. The front desk staff was incredibly kind and helpful, from giving tours to answering questions throughout the day. They also have snacks and drinks available for purchase, which was a nice bonus. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely come back!

We definitely plan on returning, hopefully next year around the same time. We were a group of 37 employees. We used an entire floor, as well as plenty of breakout rooms for group or individual meetings. The kitchen space worked well, we ate a lot of meals there. The location is very convenient, right in the downtown area near restaurants, hotels and more! Thank you again Foundr Space!!! Best, Amelia

The bathrooms, the co workspace and the kitchen are always clean. I've had minimal user error with the free printer that is provided and I enjoy being able to look out and see Pasadena City Hall from afar. Furthermore, the staff have been supportive, energetic and happy to help me whenever I have questions. For that matter Jeremy is THE MAN! Always helpful and always able to solve my issues. I'm very thankful that I decided to move away from working at home and start work at FoundrSpace. Because I really need home to be home and a place to work to feel more like work than a room in my home. I don't think that people have figured that out yet, but I know they will soon and I hope they find this review and find their new work office at FoundrSpace. Anyway, I plan to be here for quite some time, and I look forward to new neighbors that are focused on their businesses and ventures. I just wanted to let others know that this is the place for me and I know it's going to be a great place for more entrepreneurs, start ups and businesses too. Seriously if anybody has any questions, feel free to reach out to me and I'd be happy to answer.

Apparently Nucleus expanded and opened a second location in Portland in 2016. [Parking]: Easy and free street parking. If parking is not available on Main St, then there are plenty of public parking spots and parking plazas in downtown Alhambra. [Space]: The space is separated into a bookstore at the front with various art books and a rotating art exhibit (Wicked in March 2026) at the back. All art on display is for sale. The bookstore sells mostly art books (both original works and artwork from specific anime, games, or pop culture) as well as various original greeting cards. Tickets are not required to see the exhibit and admission is free. [Conclusion]: A neat spot to see various unique art prints and a free exhibit. Chances are if you are at Nucleus then you are also here to check out other spots in downtown Alhambra (e.g. grabbing tea drinks or visiting other miscellaneous shops).

Location: Located along Alhambra's Main Street area, making a nice place to walk around nearby shops and cafes. Parking is typically found on side streets or nearby lots within a short walking distance. Restrooms are available for patrons and visitors. Ambiance: The gallery is well laid out and spacious, balancing retail display areas with open exhibition space. Artwork sales are positioned toward the front while the main exhibit areas extend across both the first and second floors. Featured artists rotate regularly, giving the space a fresh feel. And yes, I will sound prissy in some of my reasons. I am a huge priss. Can't say that I like that about myself! Pros 1. Beautiful lofts, with upstairs loft space. (Not just a big box.) 2. Brick walls and exposed pipes. Gorgeous! 3. Laundry w/in units. 4. Good sized pool compared to others we've seen in DTLA. 5. Nicely designed community areas. 6. Easy access to parking. Parking price included in rent. 7. Easy access to mailboxes. 8. Amazing gym, as the owner is a personal trainer. 9. Almost built a restaurant/market on-site. Wish that went through. It may still.. may still? 10. Urth Caffe right around the corner. 11. Gun Range next door! 12. Overall great artsy feeling. 13. Anthony. Insert Shout out to Anthony - He's the man who showed us around. He's amazing. He in himself was a huge selling point! We also got to meet the owner. Nice small community/neighborhood feel. Cons for me 1. Didn't really see many people in walking around the place. It was a Saturday afternoon and no one was using the pool or the community area. Made me feel lonely. 2. Really quiet community. 3. Views outside of windows aren't that great. 4. Didn't like driving up to the place. In the factory part of DTLA. Seems cool, but it felt lonely to me. 5. Refrigerators not provided. (small thing. really.) 6. Kind of pricey for what you get. (but I could also say that for all the lofts we've seen.) 7. Even though it's really not that far from DTLA and Little Tokyo, it seemed like it was.

They take care of the buildings and are on your side, a lot of people stay there for many years and I'm sure the management is a big part of that. The place is quiet and people who live there are nice and friendly. I worked from home and found it perfect for me. The area is great and getting better, never felt like the neighborhood was bad, and the secure parking is huge in downtown.
