    Conversation with the establishment
    Danni Rae H.

I spoke with the owner in regard to the pacing of the class and how it did not leave enough time realistically for questions as well as how I was unable to learn because of the pace and jammed content into one routine (beginners 1/2 class mind you). Shonda (the instructor) did offer opportunities for questions, BUT although some of us were confused, if we stopped to ask questions every time we learned something new, realistically we wouldn't have gotten through the routine or the rest of the routine was going to be taught faster so that we would be able to get through it. I realize I am not the only student in the room so it's not fair of me to ask questions all throughout because that hinders everyone's experience and ability to learn the entire dance. Just being mindful. The owner tried giving me an emotional lesson that I should not fear to ask questions... totally wasn't hearing the constructive criticism and was blaming it on my inability to ask questions apparently. I'm open to trying a new instructor but have little hope in this establishment if that also does not go well.

Sabbath Circle is where I found my pole coven. A terrific group of pole artists, dancers, athletes, and enthusiasts all around. I came for the classes and stayed for the instructors! The talent here is amazing which allows for a wide variety of pole classes. Thanks to Em, the owner, for creating a beautiful space for pole dancers to flourish and connect. They really take care of you here! Plus: - Free parking in lot - Very aesthetic and good for videos - Welcome lobby makes you feel right at home!

    Clean, spacious, & inviting

I am a first timer here & i 100% recommend this dance studio! Instructor Em was amazing and her teaching was easy to follow. I'll be coming back here no doubt, i loved how friendly and inviting it was! Amazing experience!

Wasn't very clean. Floor had a lot of dust and balls of hair. Instructors were usually late when starting class. Good parking though.

It was a major turn off that ultimately had me coming to the studio less and less until a bunch of their teachers who had been there for years quit due to unethical business practice and seeing the behavior that Lauren exhibited. She doesn't understand the difference between confidence and egotistical. Theres a reason so many teachers and students left this studio last year. I would stay far away from this place and give your money to people who deserve it.

The owner is really rude, she's only responding if you quite literally kiss her ass and kiss the floor they walk on, ohhh and don't get me started on them being no accepting of many kinds of people and the students also! Not only that but she is genuinely so out of touch and isn't really even good a pole to begin with. She lacks so many skills and experience. Taking a few classes with her was a nightmare. The website is badly made and it's a waste of money and time to even come here. She can't even teach you anything past beginner. More then likely if your already past beginner you probably know more then the owner. Not only that but the studio is always externally hot and dirty! You come inside and the first thing you see is a messy unorganized thrift store/ junk cloths crowding everything up, making it super musty in the studio. If you want to see roaches (aside from the owner) come here then! The studio its self is a tiny hole in the wall with no space at all unless you like kicking the student next to you. Don't even look up on top because the way to poles are mounted is extremely questionable. Did I mention the floors are not even dance floors. If you fall you will completely hurt yourself! Not to mention lack of mats and equipment at this studio. This place is an entire red flag! I suggest saving your money and time and going literally anywhere but here! So I guess the final conclusion is don't even bother! There is so much better around, anything is better than this place! RUN from this place don't come here! You can tell when someone was in it to try and make money and clearly can't! NEVER come here!

She was so charming and friendly and really made everyone comfortable. She made the class!!! She was a wonderful teacher who made learning easy and enjoyable. I would love to come back but it is quite expensive. Probably good for a treat! The overall studio is very pretty and aesthetic. The aerial room was a bit tight but did the job! Loved the openness of everything. The entrance and signing into the class was a bit messy and hectic, the entrance was under construction and the man at the front handing out the waivers and such seemed a bit overwhelmed. Didn't feel super welcoming. Streamlining and organizing this section would def help put clients more at ease since I was starting to doubt the class in the beginning.-BE SURE TO BRING A YOGA MAT! Otherwise you'll have to pay $4 to rent one. -The overall class was 10 minutes of warmup, 30 min lesson, and then 10 minutes of free time to record and practice what you just learned. -The AERIAL DANCE INTRO CLASS was a great class for those who have never done aerial or those who haven't done it in years. We learned 3-4 positions. - Paid street parking or limited lot parking ( where ABOUT TIME CAFE is , free during the day) - bathroom available - Locker room on the side - They have two cute dogs in the studio - Recording isn't allowed till the end.

It doesn't really make sense but OK, already vibe ruined but i took the aerial 1 class. The man followed me around asking where i got my yoga mat and even when i was leaving asked if i am taking my yoga mat and where it is etc- very annoying, bizarre and frankly off putting as hell. he was anything but welcoming so i suggest you remove him from whatever he's doing in the front. never want to come back. apparently you have to pay for rental yoga mat. But even before I get to the class, the entry entryway and the vibe of the whole place is off because it's so worn out. i'm scared the fabric will fall off the hook and it's extremely smelly and overall unstable and worn out looking- not sure if i can trust the hanging to support me but that's the attorney in me talking. everything i see seems like a liability, especially their old hooks and the way the instructor walks around with a huge ladder in a crowded class. Next the class itself- instructor spent majority of the time making us stretch and adjusting our fabric. it was such a waste of time. don't do it if you're trying to get a workout in.

When I started looking into pole dancing/fitness at the time, I came across Allure. I was very excited to find a fun way to exercise and take the edge off of stressful work. I would take a minimum of 3 classes a week. I also trained a bit of MMA so mixing it up with pole dancing was a great combination for me. I started as a beginner and was working my way up. The employees were amazing, friendly and fun. They always made sure that everybody was doing good and comfortable with the next step. They would always compliment me on how quickly I would learn and how well I could move. One of the ladies there even said that I should work for them teaching the beginners class, which I would have been up to. Unfortunately, I moved away and I just never could find a place like this again. To makes matters worse for myself, I moved again and live in a small town that doesn't offer it, a bit closed minded as well. If I was as good as the instructors, i would open one here! If I ever was to move back to LA, this is the place I would definitely sign up for again. I highly recommend if you're looking for a fun, sexy and different approach to fitness.

I have been to the LA Philharmonic Walt Disney Concert Hall several times to see/hear different genres of music from ballet, to symphony, to jazz, and of course classical music, and during the holidays they give a great performance by their choir. Those of you who know me, know I love classical music and do have my favorite composers: Chopin, Vivaldi and Mozart. On Sunday, March 29th at 7:30pm my friend and I went to see Strauss, Bruch, & Moussa's elegant, classy performance that shook up the whole entire venue and the audience. It was just MAGNIFICENT! 10/10 The venue itself is STUNNING! Glamorous and easy to navigate all the aisles. Our seats were very comfortable and you can see the stage from any corner/angle since the theatre is not that big. Also has balcony seating. Tickets were $50 a piece not including tax. It has a beautiful gift shop, garden, different restaurants all around the building, and a small store where you can purchase some beverages and snacks. Overall, a GREAT performance and we both had a lovely time. Parking is $10 with few an entrances and few restrooms for both men & women. Thank you all for another AWESOME performance!! Will definitely return again next time I get a brochure or pamphlet in my mail.
