The only thing I can make of this is they are thieves. Michael S you must be a friend or relative of these professional thieves. I gave them $500 for a deposit in May 2022. They cashed it immediately. My contract states they would finish a small retaining wall by 7/20/2022. I didn't hear from them by end of summer and asked for my deposit back and no response. Contract also states no credit cards, guess that's so you can't dispute it and they take the cash and run. Today I sent email to 2 email addresses I had for them and 2 came back rejected immediately. I then called the number on my contract which matched the one I see on yelp and received a robo voice saying the number is not set up to receive calls. I can't believe I was robbed like this. I'm a senior in a senior community. I see there are others who had the same or worse experience with them. Has anyone reported them to the police? I've come back to edit this review because I was thinking if they've changed their name as I read in another review, maybe I should put the peoples names that I dealt with. Well, I have to amend my previous review to "Do Not Use This Company !!" The following season after the patio was installed, all the poly sand used to keep the pavers together came out. Now, nothing but mud and weeds are seeping through and it looks like s**t ! I have contacted them 5 TIMES, since last November, and just keep getting lip service and a runaround. I now have to find a local person who can power wash and reapply the poly sand CORRECTLY ! I cannot emphasize my frustration and disappointment with this company enough !! We signed a contract with Stone and Patio Professionals - SPP, located at 267 Route 33 East, Manalapan, NJ 07726 on 06-12-2020 to install an in-ground pool and to be completed by 08-12-2020, until today we have serious and major issues with the pool. As soon as we made roughly 90% of the payments per the contract the nightmares began. Just to name a few: 1- SPP hired several sub-contractors for this job and all of these subs have mark ups on the cost which made it a very expensive process. Deal with a company that does all the work. Or hire a separate contractor on your own. 2- SPP hired a pool sub-contractor named Superior Pool & Patio out of Croydon, PA; it took them 3 attempts before they installed the pool properly in the ground. This sub also had the fittings around the pump leak and the salt water generator connection cracked due to misaligned piping pulled together under stress. Our calls to fix the issues went unanswered. 3- SPP hired an electrical sub-contractor named PowerRite Electric, Inc. Tazio Brown out of Manalapan, NJ; they did not run a power line to the control panel, they did not install trippers in the pool time clock and they left loose wiring all around the equipment. Our calls went unanswered. 4- SPP hired a mechanical contractor named Dustin Mechanical, out of New Egypt, NJ; the pool heater did not work. The pressure regulating valve on the pool heater constantly kept flowing water. The installed valve was defective. When we asked about the part we were told we used chemicals in the water that harmed the valve. We have not yet used the pool. Since it's pool water it will have chemicals for water treatment. The valve should be of the material that should withstand those chemicals. They refused to replace the valve. 5- We were cheated out of the pool heater size. SPP installed a pool heater that was smaller in capacity than what was specified in the contract. 6- They did not install a step ladder and handrail even though we had it in the contract citing that this model pool does not come with step ladder and hand rail. 7- The crew who installs pavers they started the pool pump without priming it, without opening the supply and return valves and without removing the caps from the jet outlets. These guys clearly had no clue what they were doing. 8- They severely damaged our neighbor's fence and refused to repair and replace it. 9- They also severely damaged our concrete slabs in the front, on the side and at the back of the house and neglected it without any concern about them. 10- In addition to the above there are over 50 additional items that are too cumbersome to list and when asked about them, they told us it's in the contract they don't have to do it. They chose to do whatever is convenient for them. We opted to state this factual information so that other buyers are knowledgeable about dealing with this dreadful company with their zilch and absolutely deplorable quality and service of work. They don't let you modify anything in the contract. Their contract is convoluted; do not sign it without having your attorney advice you otherwise. Buyer Beware! Charles and his aid Scott Murphy came to our house and promised to finish the job before summer 2021 starts. We were given many written promises to finish the job. All lies. Two summers have come and gone and we still don't have a functional pool. They walked away from the job without any explanation. Charles Szarawarski, the owner of the company is a pathological liar and an immoral person. I wouldn't trust him as far as I can throw him. They turned a pleasure project into a nightmare! If you are thinking of engaging yourself to do business with these incompetent people consider yourself cautioned. DON'T DO IT! I like to post positive reviews, but can't do it here. We signed a good faith contract with Stone and Patio Professionals for an $11,000 patio project on June 4, 2019. We were told if we gave a deposit that day the job would be completed by the second week in July. The contract contained an estimated completion date of Aug. 4, 2019. It was understood we needed the project completed no later than early August in order to host a party for our son before he went to study abroad. After numerous calls to SP requesting a start date, it took two weeks for Charles Szarawarski, the owner of what should be called Stone Patio Unprofessionals, to preview the area where the work was to be done. He promised to promptly provide a design of the project, but it took several more weeks before he came back with a drawing which included several mistakes. It took a few more weeks to arrange another pre-construction meeting with Charles at the SP offices in hopes of finalizing a design. After the meeting, we were told the work would begin within a week. But after continued foot-dragging, little communication and no actual work having started by Aug. 20 we requested to have our $1,000 deposit returned. SP Unprofessionals refused and dared us as per contract (ready the fine print) to go to arbitration. "It will cost you $2,000 and we always win," was the last we heard from Charles before he offered us a $300 refund or a $500 discount on our $11,000 project... Again DON'T DO IT!! read more

Stone and patio professionals did a fabulous job on my paver patio My neighbor across from me came out and said they did an excellent job, it's beautiful! The work crew was polite, courteous, answered any questions I had and clean up the area each day. My initial meeting with Ron my salesman reschedule quickly and he was and was punctual. He provided information about the patio build and answered all questions during and after the meeting. Charles the owner came out a week later to review the plans for the build. The crew only took three days to build. I am very pleased on how my patio turned out. I would've given five stars but I took one star away because they need to improve their communication with the customer in letting the customer know what is going on and what to expect during this process. After calling a number of companies and receiving quite a few estimates, we decided to move ahead with Stone & Patio Pros. Their prices were extremely fair compared to others and Charles was extremely helpful in providing sound advice and design ideas without being pushy. The crew was extremely punctual, clean and professional and we couldn't be happier with the result. Not sure about some of these negative reviews but the work performed in our yard speaks for itself. Firepit was the best part of the project. We expected outstanding results for the money that was spent but everything else was just average.

DO NOT go with this company. It has been almost a year and the job still isnt complete. We signed the contract in September 2020 and got the run around about permit delays, specifically stating that the township was slow. After contacting our township in October, they mentioned they already accepted and processed the permit in September. This should have been a red flag. In good faith, we continued with the company, gave them the deposit, etc. Work commenced in December 2020, really beautiful job with the first contractors they hired. They completed about 75% of the project so we paid them their % of completion. A new set of contractors came out in March after the winter and the ground thawed a bit, but they were terrible. They tried rushing through the job, did a terrible cut-job on the pavers in one area, and weren't told about the set of lights and sitting wall we agreed on. They were supposedly told to finish the job as quickly as possible and get out of there. We asked them to stop work until we spoke to the owners.. It has been 7 months, and the work has not been completed. We have gotten the run around about lack of material sporadically since the summer (which we tried to believe because of the material shortage) but several weeks since our last update in August and no response or update from the "professionals". It has been super frustrating to say the least and we will be taking them to arbitration. This company is not professional and I have no idea how they are still in business. Charles worked with us to design and install our raised paver patio. During the install he attempted to make the patio an entire row shorter than we agreed to. It was a good thing we were home to catch this before it was too late. The patio was built 6 years ago and now looks terrible. All of the pavers are stained, there are dips all over the place, loose cap stones, sinking steps, separating wall blocks... anything that can be wrong is. I have called and spoken to Charles three years in a row for the last three years about this and to discuss what can be done to resolve these issues. Each time he says he is going to come out to check it out or send someone or call me back or whatever just to get me off the phone. 14k for a patio that lasted 2-3 years. If you are planning on spending your hard earned money I recommend doing so with a different company. read more

Charles, the Director of Operations, promptly responded to my request for a quote to remove the existing lawn and rear fence and build a patio (pavers). He explained how it would be done, how long it would take, and provided me with a very fair price. He suggested I get our architectural committee's approval, which I did. We have gone over two from spring 2017 to now hitting the fall of 2018 Seasons dealing with this company with the manager Charles who has made us promises after Promises of completing the work that we have paid for and then from last year to this year changing it and said no he's not going to complete the work or do the work that we have paid for not to mention has broken three zones of my sprinkler system which he was aware of that I had another guy sprinkler system company to come in and reroute he said no need for that we could save you money we know how to do that but he did break the three zones so I have three zones of sprinkler systems that are no longer in use as well as other things that was a promise areas of him to come back to fix and install are veneer of our back or house is not the veneer that we picked out he just had some leftover from his yard and put it up and not complete the cil ot the back of the house As well as destroying our moldings on our garage doors. Having the gol to say NO to not installing a brickface mailbox, fencing that he was already been paid for. Also he was supposed to replace some pavers that were ruined and covered over where the main step ladder that goes into the shallow end of the pool. Charles also took matters into his own hands and said he would do a nice quick cleanup and did a full landscape without our authorization in the middle of still having Hardscape work that needed to be done. He did this while we weren't even home. Not knocking his workers, Charles is not a good Project manager only comes for the money then leaves I overpaid not realizing that until I went to the bank and retrieved my receipts He was asking for 10s of thousands in cash as well as checks at the same time, coming every day so I screwed up on that part but Charles never came back to finish the projects that I paid for He is not a trusted business owner, manager and a person AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!!! I have been working with Scott for over a year now and you really cant get any better. The original job was a retaining wall and drainage. The wall came out great. We made changes through out with no problems or hold ups. The project did take longer then planned but somethings can't be helped. I will say that yes, you may need to call them when they say they will call you and yes there are times when I get annoyed because it feels like things are being held up, BUT over all Scott is a great guy who follows through and makes sure that as the customer you are happy when it is all said and done. I am currently working with Scott on a possible second project and would recommend them to anyone who asked. read more
