So you are left to assume that their quote covers what you want done. I sent an e-mail to the worker who was out & provided the quote, but he never got back to me. Since I assumed that the job would be done as we desired, I agreed to the work. When they showed up for the job my wife was told that they would not do some of the repair work requested. The work they did do was OK, but it left a big gap between sections of our driveway. Shouldn't have been an issue as they were coming back to caulk the areas impacted by their work. The worker who finally did the caulking however would not do the area with the major "seam" between driveway sections that they repaired and asked for an additional $100 to do it. Even though it obviously needs done. So now I have to do the remaining caulking or what they did will be useless as water/etc will seep into the raised driveway area and the problems we've had will just be repeated. Not a happy customer.

Tom Shields came out, explained what needed to be done, seemed to understand what he was doing and I agreed to hire him. He promised me the job would be completed - no problem before labor day you will be putting water in your pool. He showed up and worked Thursday / Friday. I paid him 700 dollars. He showed up the next week and worked. I paid him 1000 dollars. He worked Monday and Tuesday the next day, and on Tuesday he asked me for 400 dollars so he could pay his helpers. I paid him that money. That was my mistake. On a job that was supposed to be done for 2800 dollars he had now gotten 2100. He took the next day off because of a dentist appointment. Then came the labor day weekend. He showed up that Tuesday alone, did some cleanup for a few hours and left. He never worked again on my property. The next week I contacted him and he told me he would be there on Friday, finish installing my pool coping and would do the tile on Monday and Tuesday. He never showed up. 10 Days later he promised to be there the next day. He never showed up. Then it was the next week. He promised to be there on Wednesday and never showed up. four weeks and I had had enough. I texted him over the weekend and pleaded with him, "If you're not going to finish the job, let me know because it's October and I need to get a cover on my pool, I'll hire someone else if you don't plan on doing it." He promised to be there on Monday but it rained. Today he messaged me and said he had some stops to make but he was bringing a crew and would be here all day. but he never showed At this point he managed to cheat me out of money for work that wasn't done. The work was done in November. Now I am dealing with a huge mess in the yard and spending more money to get that fixed and on top of that, I see where they cracked the foundation/footer on the outside. Working with them was a mess. There does not seem to be a central person to answer questions. The garage never really got leveled but at least it's not supposed to sink anymore and is stable. It's supposed to be guaranteed but who knows? Don't be fooled by the ads. They make everything look nice in the ads but I still have a giant crack that's now filled with foam. I mean, it's a detached garage, but still...Do some looking around and NEVER let anyone high pressure you. Lesson learned.
