We had a great experience. Jason (the owner) was very helpful in helping us find remnants for our 2 bath countertops. They came and measured with computerized equipment that was very precise. They them submitted jpgs with the computerized layout on the actual stone that was to be installed showing the exact sink and faucet placement. Once we approved they installed and looks great. One thing that I will say is that they were quite busy so we had to make follow up calls more than we should have. But that is really a minor complaint. I would highly recommend. So, this process started back in July. They were very helpful in the store and willing to accommodate my delayed renovation because they were getting the business. But the actual appointment process was a nightmare!! They do not return calls, follow up or confirm ANYTHING!!! I repeatedly had to call to find out when the guys were coming. They'd say they called but didn't. I told them repeatedly I had a conflict with a late install because of work. They scheduled me for the afternoon and I had to cancel my appointments and lost money. The install guys were fine and it looks beautiful but I would not recommend this company if you want clear communication and a stress free process. read more

I've been dealing with Stone Resoures for over 6 years with various bathroom and kitchen renovations and have had nothing but good and courteous service and no issues at all with the installs. Horrible experience from start to finish. They had no problem taking my money but when the time came to do the job correctly - forget it!!!! They had to come back 4 times and I am still unsatisfied with the job they did. They never sealed the granite to the countertop!!! Stay away! Definitely not worth your aggrivation or your hard earned money!!! read more

This was my first time using Stone Resources and it went very well! I was weary at first because of a few negative reviews on here but after checking it out for myself, I found that this place is totally underrated. They have a great showroom and very friendly staff! They walked me through the entire process and made it very easy. I purchased granite and tile for my kitchen and it came out exactly how I wanted. The only positive things I can say about this company was that the people at the front were kind to deal with. I put a deposit down and everything was good to go for my counter-tops, which were scheduled to go in right as my kitchen was renovated so that the project would be completed on time. The following week a representative of the company came out and measured the templates, but said that since the staircase to the apartment was narrow, that they would have to charge extra to bring another guy to help the installation. This is a week after the deposit, and a week before the installation. Two days later I am informed that this 'extra help' will cost FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS. $500! This increased the price of the installation by over 20%. $500 to bring an extra guy 15 minutes (from federal road in Danbury to federal road in Brookfield) to help carry one slab up one set of stairs into an apartment. Because the project needed to be completed on time, in order to return the kitchen to a functional state, I was forced to pay the 500$. I asked if they would accept 250$, but they would not accept, the owner did not even have the guts to speak to me on the phone. He spoke to me through a person at the front desk. When they came to install the counter-tops, they didn't even use the extra set of hands to help carry the slab. Two guys were able to carry it up. They did not put drop cloths down and tracked mud over the apartment and in the kitchen. After drilling the holes for the faucet and soap dispenser, they did not vacuum or clean the cabinet beneath it, leaving a nice covering of dust and rock inside the kitchen cabinet.
