We recently installed a new kitchen, and went to Putnam Granite for an estimate on the quartz countertop that we wanted. Not only were they about $1,000 less expensive than the other companies we looked at, they were very friendly and accommodating. When our kitchen cabinets and our master bathroom vanity were installed and it was time for the countertops, they were able to come measure, and create the perfect countertops in less than a week! And I say perfect countertops because everything was AMAZING! They were able to cut one piece to fit around the corner!! Everything fit exactly to measurements! And they even matched up the veins in the quartz so that it looks like it flows from the island across to the wall cabinets! But the master vanity is the most incredible of all. We ordered a backsplash with it for the 2 sides with a wall, and they surprised us by matching the backsplash piece to exactly match the countertop in terms of the stone's patterns!!! We have been in the home improvement business for over 40 years and have never seen that kind of perfectly matching stone before! Since we were working direct with Putnam (without a contractor nor designer) we really didn't know the process, what to ask for, how to select product, etc. The team at Putnam was so helpful and patient, and informative. They explained everything in detail, answered all our questions (even the ones we asked over and over again) and worked closely with us to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. When we were slow and indecisive, they were patient. When we needed to hurry up and go fast (to meet deliver/install times) they were accommodating. And the product! If you care about service, respect, or even the job getting done right....dont use these guys. Had a bathroom counter cut. Sink was cut out incorrectly. Employees promised to fix but didn't return calls. I had to constantly follow up. Finally, employees said the owner wanted to see it. He was to call me but never did. Employees said he was too busy. Huh ! Then the told me owner was to come see the job. He was too busy mon to friday so wanted to come Saturday. No show saturday and no call to cancel. No call next business day. I called again and they promised he would call me. Guess what?? No call. My work schedule is bad and I made time on that saturday and he screwed me. On top of this all, he wouldn't deal with my wife at all. Not even speak to her on phone. It's not like she ever spoke with him or any employee there to make herself to be a PIA. What's up with that?? Just doesn't want to deal with a woman. Now I have to get it fixed by somebody else and pay someone else to reinstall. What a waste of time and money. read more

The service was terrible. If you're looking for someone to call you back I wouldn't go here. I ordered a simple vanity piece which was already pre cut it just needed to be cleaned and trimmed. They told me they would have it done by the the next day and after 2 weeks of me calling to ask when it would be done they finally finished it after my husband called to threaten them that we would cancel our order. They never called back and it was close to impossible to get someone on the phone. read more
