Absolutely disgusting behaviour - avoid this place. I am…read morehonestly furious with how I've been treated. I saw a car on ebay for sale and it was made out to seem from Paul Price Cars as the pictures advertised were at the front of the dealership. I purchased the car in full after viewing it at Paul Price Cars in Oldham and was provided with a warranty. Two months later, after only doing around 300 miles on the car, it had a problem with the brakes and callipers - yes he seems to have sorted the problem but the attitude he had was disgusting, the guy was rude and belittling, he kept saying he's "been doing this job too long, he knows what he's on about" and acting like I didn't know what I was talking about, even thought i was worried about the brakes on the car. When he returned the car to my grandad (as i was working at the time) my grandad questioned him making sure he had repaired the part, he shouted at my grandad saying there's nothing wrong with the car now. As he was leaving, after being very aggressive towards my grandad he threw my car keys on the floor and slammed the car door, forcing my grandad, a nearly 70 year old man, to then have to pick them up. - absolutely disgusting and unprofessional behaviour. When I bought the car he made it seem like a proper dealership sale, providing me with a receipt with his dealership name on the top, as well as being very friendly telling me to bring the car back if i have any problems or ever in the future needed work doing, but now there's an issue with the car he's saying it was a private sale. He told me I should of sorted this problem myself instead of returning to his dealership. I ended up having to pay for the work myself. To make things worse, he has now blocked my phone number and even said he would block my grandad's - this is how little he cares about after-sales support. The whole experience has been horrible. Rude, aggressive, dishonest - I wouldn't want anyone else to go through what I have. Stay away.

Trying to sell me some bag of nails that had been sat on their forecourts for too long. I knew what I wanted in my mind but they kept dodging what I wanted and showed me something completely different which really, really irritated me. Buying a car is a big decision and I was made to feel that what I wanted wasn't right... when I stopped off at Paul Price, I met Mike who just let me know that if I needed him, he'd be in the office. I was free to roam. There are no "salesmen" here breathing down your neck waiting to earn their commission off you. I had a look around on my own for a good 20 minutes before going into the office to have a chat. Mike actually asked me "what car are you looking for?" So we had a chat and he gave me a few options before I said I liked one of the Astra's on the forecourt. He grabbed the keys, took me out for a test drive and explained everything about the car. Age, mileage, where they bought it from and everything in between! We got back to the office and I bought the car there and then! Since buying the car, I have taken it back for 2 services and MOT's and it's also had a couple of minor repairs done here. You just give them a ring, they ask when it's best for you to come down or they'll arrange collection and drop off and they get the job done quickly. The after sales care is truly outstanding! In the 2 years that I've been going to this garage, I have met Paul, Mike, Patrick and his younger brother (I've forgotten his name though!) and the mechanic himself, And I know that as soon as I need anything, I can give them a call and they'll get it sorted for me. I'm so happy I bought from this dealer... they've really got the customer at the heart of everything they do and it's like being welcomed into the family. My customer loyalty will now be with Paul Price. Keep up the amazing work

This is quite a nice, modern branch, with a large selection of cars outside, mainly focusing on the Auris, Yaris and Aygo with a few others in the mix. I found it fascinating to talk to the salesman about Toyota, and how cars have changed, with the Yaris becoming bigger and better, and the Aygo replacing it as the smaller car in the Toyota range. Having been with Toyota for many years now, it seems my family are toyota mad, with the large number of us having a Toyota vehicle, I was interested to see what they could offer me to reward me for my loyalty to the brand. He did show me around many cars, and we talked over a drink. They is coffee facilities here with a number of coffees and hot chocolates to choose from, my coffee was a small portion (as expected) and simply tasted a little strange, and horrible which is uncommon for coffee, especially one I had recommended to me. The staff here, as said before, did seem nice and helped to open cars outside for me, what wouldn't have been open, and we also talked about the new 65 reg plates, and it seemed the guy wasn't too pushy either which was great, I spoke to quite a few people, and although he was helpful, he understood he wasn't going to get a sale today, so just helped me with what I needed. I also found him to be very honest, which was great, we talked about cars from other brands, including the Vauxhall Zaphira, and he was surprisingly honest in giving me advice on this, and as well as trading in my current car, however he understood the low milage and even advised me to sell it privately, and also did give me a rough quote of the buying price and then the price they would sell my car on for, if they did take it off my hands. We even talked about non-related matters (to cars) including coeliac disease, which was the last thing I expected to be chatting about in a place like this! The garage is quite nice inside, with of course most of the newer, flagship vehicles including the new Yaris, which is pretty nice and they was also a good amount of Hybrid vehicles, including the new Auris. They is of course seating, with tv's, tables, tea and biscuits (sadly not gluten free), and even a kid's area. This garage is quite accessible too for wheelchairs, however it can be annoying, having to walk around a full row of cars, to cut through just past one for example, more than doubling your total journey time to look at a certain car. This is quite a nice dealership, and had a nice, modern feeling too it to, the staff seemed nice (which is very common I've found with RRG), so I do feel a rather generous 4 stars is the fairer rating for this store, although I do admit this is a little generous, and may be revised down to 3 in the near future, but I do hope to clarify the situation with a stronger 4 rating, or a 3, on a future visit, where I may decide on a test drive.

RRG own a good amount of garages in the north west, including a Toyota and Peugeot dealership in Rochdale alone, this one in particular is for Skoda, and is one of 2 Skoda dealerships in RRG, alongside a branch in Bolton. This is quite a nice dealership, with a good range of cars from the Skoda range, with some award-winning models including the Superb, Flagship and Octavia being stocked here, with of course the new "65" plates. Gordon was very nice, and we had a chat about the RRG group in general as well as certain cars which would be right for me, I did like the Fabia, which was quite a nice car with a decent boot, and did have some very good add-ons, including metallic paint for around £500, and a sat-nav built in for around £250, which can be 2,3,4 times that with other manufacturers such as Nissan. The inside part is quite nice, and although not as modern as Nissan or Toyota in Rochdale for example, it is still nice and is being refurbished soon, to be finished for Christmas, to get it "All Skoda's up", to quote my salesman. They is an outside part too with a good number of parking, but most of the staff as well as newer, nicer cars do tend to be inside, and you do have to pass through here to take a look at the cars outside, with them all being locked, which is understandable, and is like that at all dealerships. I was disappointed not to see any "free-drink" making facilities, which the likes of BMW and Nissan do have, and they is a few other minor flaws like this. Overall, this is quite a nice dealerships with some good cars, and really helped to change my opinion of Skoda being an older, unpopular car to quite a nice, cool car which can be competitive on the market, and is definitely one of the garages worth checking out, while looking for a car in the area. I still feel 3 stars is a fair rating for Skoda, and hopefully I'll be back soon for a test-drive, and an updated review!

This is quite a nice dealership, with a good size, stocking a good range of Volkswagen cars, including a 7 seater (can't remember the name), the Golf and the Passat (My favourite! - especially the new model!) They is a nice, good amount of cars to have a look at, unlocked inside the dealership and of course locked outside. They was a good amount of staff here, who seemed friendly enough, however they certainly didn't beat staff at other garages including RRG Skoda and RRG Peugeot in Rochdale. They did seem helpful, but didn't seem to stand out as much as other dealerships, and were simply average. This dealership is simply your above average dealership, which sells some nice Volkswagen cars, they have drink facilities so I feel a fair rating is 3 stars.

I asked them specifically to look at this, having told them it wasn't the fuses. 4 hours later I took a call from their customer disservice rep to inform me that after £96.00 worth of diagnostic tests, the rocket scientists in the workshop had confirmed it wasn't the fuses. 'Have you checked the relay I asked?' No, was the answer, but for a further £96.00 they would check. I told them no, and hey presto! My car was ready. When I came to collect it, I was smugly informed it had been washed and vacuumed. Washed with an ear bud, and vacuumed with a hair dryer maybe, as it was in the same condition as when I left it. And the result of the safety recall? Still waiting for a reply to my email. Essentially, 'Smurf Knight Fail / Inchworm' haven't managed to get right a single point of the four things they said they were going to do. Not one. No safety recall check, no investigation into the relay, no wash, no vacuum. You'd get better customer care in a Stalinist gulag. Strangely enough, having gone to an independent auto electrical garage, the fault was in the relay, and this was replaced promptly. If I could give a 'no star' review, I would. When I returned to discuss this with their complaints department / a passing manager who was unlucky enough to be in the wrong place at the right time, then I was informed that the air conditioning had been re-gassed... strange how this wasn't in the invoice. The job sheet was checked, and added in blue pen was 'air con regassed' when the original engineer had used a black biro. Strangely enough the manager speaking to me had a blue biro. Coincidence, nothing more. I invited him to check the air-con and it was still devoid of coolant - like it had been all summer. Anyone would have thought the 'regas' hadn't taken place at all. It must have been a leak... Now awaiting the result of the (free) air-con check. The plot thickens...

I find it difficult to accept this addition of incorrect facts which imply the vehicle is something it clearly isn't. The Key Facts about the advertised car state it is more powerful and more economical than a tid 150 bhp sport actually is. I find it interesting to see how incorrect Key Facts can be displayed about a car to which it does not seem to relate. I trust the Key Facts are somehow a genuine mistake rather than some underhanded ploy to deceive a potential buyer? I know it is a serious offence to advertise something which is not true. How can a car dealer make such an obvious mistake? As interesting as my findings are, I will inform Autotrader to let them resolve this problem.

The owner seemed to remember a different part-ex price than he said initially. Then after buying the car I drove home (18 miles) and found the bonnet catch broken. Took it back and they agreed to replace it. I went back a few days later for the repair and they denied agreeing to replace it, wanted £50 for a fault that surely was there when I bought it. Since then I have had to pay £500 in repairs that were not included in the warranty because they said there was no warranty with the car! True, none given in writing. I've decided not to go down the small claims route, but am writing this as a warning to others. I have found a complete lack of aftercare and customer service. Maybe I bought a lemon and keep getting Premier Car Centre on bad days, but I would definitely recommend that buyer beware of this dealer.
