They gave me a delivery date for my toy teacup maltipoo and everything went great. He arrived exactly when they said he would. He arrived clean, happy, and healthy with all of his paperwork and food. I took him to the vet the next day and they said he was in great shape, healthy, and had a great personality. He looked exactly like the photos and his personality is perfect. It seems like they likely represent multiple breeders given the volume of dogs they have on the site but my experience was great.

However, I have several serious concerns regarding the value and terms of the services provided: Training Expectations: I paid for a five-week training program with the expectation that Bria would at least be foundational crate and potty trained, and familiar with basic commands. Unfortunately, she arrived with no basic command, crate, or potty training. She becomes severely distressed whenever she enters her crate when I leave for work, which has been very heartbreaking to manage. Health Guarantee & Supplement Requirement: Requiring a ongoing subscription to specific vitamins to keep the health guarantee valid feels unreasonable, especially given that three separate local veterinarians have confirmed these supplements are unnecessary for her health. I already maintain full health insurance and complete veterinary care records for Bria. Value: Given the high price point of Happy Tails puppies and training programs, the overall experience did not align with the cost or expectations set. Due to these factors, I would not be able to comfortably recommend Happy Tails to prospective pet owners.

Seeking Shalom Acres raises her pups in the home with her husband and nine children. As a result, my puppy was already well socialized and confident, and nearly 100% potty trained. I have never experienced bringing a puppy home and after just two days was successfully going potty on her wee pads 90% of the time. It was the easiest transition/training period ever! Seeking Shalom Acres has an informative and fun Facebook and YouTube channel. Once I purchased our puppy, they provided a complete puppy manual, a puppy checklist....I have never been so prepared to bring a new puppy home. Melody also provides lifetime support which I have used extensively. Melody responds immediately and thoroughly through text or email.
