Went in with medium expectations and this place FAR EXCEEDED those expectations! Was really good! They are part coffee shop, part pizza restaurant. Never seen this combo back home and it really works well. It's an order at the counter and seat yourself. The dining area is small and more like what you'd expect from a coffee shop and that makes perfect sense. I'd definitely return if I am even in Helena again.

This is a joint I would be at weekly if I lived anywhere remotely close. The crust is just right--flavorful, thin, and has a chew. It's not a cracker and it's not bread. The cheese is good--good melt, good flavor, good browning. The sauce is really tasty (important!!). Toppings good, they know to ask whether you want greens (in my case arugula) on before or after-bake, they know what 'well done' means. [Quick aside, I don't know how people who make pizza for their job don't know what 'well done' means but seemingly 95% of people at pizza places don't. Thankfully Bullman's knows.] Do I wish I got the larger pizza? Yes. Do I wish I ordered two pizzas and took one to go regardless of the certain jokes I would've heard from my colleagues for years? I found a hair in my food, and after bringing it to the owner's attention, her response was, "I'm the cook and that couldn't possibly happen." Instead of apologizing or trying to make the situation right, she dismissed my concern completely. I couldn't bring myself to eat the meal after finding the hair, yet I still wasn't offered a refund or even a replacement. To make matters worse, my drinks were made completely wrong. Everyone makes mistakes, but it's how a business handles them that matters. Being treated with disbelief and having my concerns brushed off was unacceptable. Between the poor customer service, the lack of accountability, and the incorrect order, I won't be returning and can't recommend this restaurant to others.
