LET THE GRASS GROW !!!!! The fairways are cut to almost zero centimeters of grass, no grass under the ball, almost Impossible to hit fairway woods or hybrids without taking huge deep divots. What's worse is the "rough" .... it's barely distinguishable from the fairways..... if they're not cutting the fairways and rough at the same heights it's damn close. 1/16 of an inch height for the fairway and 1/8 of an inch for the "rough"??? Is this poor management, poorly trained or lazy workers, badly maintained equipment or just incompetence ??? OR are they being so cheap they don't have two sets of mowers ?? Either way this is a $25 muni course experience for $65-$105 depending on when you play. Skip it. BTW, I've played these two courses on and off for years, this is NOT a new problem. Also, there's never any rangers driving around, so if you're stuck behind slowpokes it can be a 5 hour round or more. No pace of play enforced at all. read more

This place hosted a junior golf event and was not hospitable at all. Seems like it could be a fun place with all the activities in the neighborhood but everyone there, including members, seemed unpleasant. I do not recommend giving any money to this course in any shape or form. read more

Great place to live and golf! Quiet and peaceful. Clubhouse had great food every time we went there to eat.

I've played lots of golf at lots of different places but the member guest tournament at Solavita gets my highest points rating. The oaks course was so well maintained and the greens were in awesome condition. The staff was the best, the food was great and I can't say enough good things about everything. When I left I felt like I had so many more good friends. You guys "ROCK"!!! I can't wait to return and you can bet your boots I will. Thanks for making my trip so memorable! Dave Coulter read more

Nice golf course in the gated community of Solivita. It is open to the public. We played Cypress, the narrower, more challenging of the 2 courses. The course has a really nice lay out, but bring plenty of balls. Very easy to loose them!! (I went through 4) Only complaint is no beverage cart. They do allow you to bring your own, so don't forget you own beer and water! read more

It is a shame to have to leave such a beautiful course a bad review, and I might mention it is the first review I have ever left in my life. I usually don't let much in life get to me but this experience is inexusible and needed to be shared. Let me first say the situation I'm about to describe is so bizarre this review runs the risk of sounding fictitious, and if I'm completely honest, I am still wrapping my head around it all. My father is in his late 70s so I try to take him golfing as often as I can while I still have him. We decided to check out this highly rated course that is not far from home. We arrived and one moment we were checking in and about to tee off, laughing and having a good time. We had a rough start. Almost immediately, a group of apparently important (and tactless) members were behind us shouting and yelling at us distastefully to hurry up and hit. My dad is quite old and we weren't trying to be slow so we hustled at the next hole (hole 2). At this point, the ranger/starter who had been nothing but kind prior pulled up and told us, "you gotta pick it up, the people behind you are pretty upset." We told him, "no problem" and worked to play faster. Apparently, the party behind us were big spenders and were putting the pressure on him to hurry us along; we began to feel we were in the way and wondered how we could slowing them down while we were only on hole 2. Who rushes through golf on a Friday afternoon...? On hole 3 we teed off from the same box, as to try to play quicker (we couldn't play too much quicker because there were people at the next hole). I got a par and dad ended up getting a bogie. At this point the ranger has basically joined our game, closely following us around and making commentary on our every move. Then, he tells us we may have to skip a hole. At this point, I'm angry, but I remained calm and tried to blow it off. We are extremely uncomfortable now and his hovering over my shoulder didn't leave me any room to improve my game, which was uncharacteristically lacking that day. He continues to follow closely, telling us when and where to hit from. I am insulted. I bite my tongue but I'm sweating bullets. He insists I hit toward other players, whom I can easily hit the ball past. Clearly he's feeling pressure from the "elite" members behind me. Then we get to the 4th hole and he is following still, closely. He tells my dad his shot sucks and continues to urge me to hit at an unsafe range from the players ahead. I decided this is enough and we were about to tell him we were leaving and going to request a refund. At this time, he turns to us and says, "are you sure this is the right course for you guys?" I reply, "I am quite sure that it is not" and we leave. I am 40 and have been playing on courses since age 13. I have never experienced any treatment like this on a golf course or anywhere else, My memory continues to flash back to these events to try to make sense of them. I would never return and tell all my friends and family to avoid this place because of the way they are willing to treat paying customers. read more

We've decided we'll just order burgers here from now on. They're cooked to order and we just need to have then hold the onion jam. The fries are a safe if unexciting side option. Might substitute for sauteed spinach next time, but the burger already has spinach on it instead of leaf lettuce. The grilled chicken sandwich was pretty good but the chicken wasn't moist. I was able to get a side of tasty honey mustard and out made the sandwich. read more

If you're looking to wait for 6 hours per hole then this is your course haha, retirement golf to say the least haha. Nice people though!

Played the Oaks course here recently and it was in pretty good shape. They got rid of stupid Integrity golf management and the place is shaping up. Will need a few months to get back to pristine shape like few years ago but it will get there. The Oaks course is fun and has some challenging shots. From back tees can be challenging but fun from the forward tees as well. Pace of play was great when we were here...hot AUGUST DAY...lol The jerkoff kid in the pro shop had an attitude when I told him I did not print out my Group Golfer but rather had it on my phone App. Besides that they cut the fairways that morning but didn't drag the grass off so it wasn't always great. Little issues that can make or break your round. Will be back though since have a second voucher to play the other 18. read more

Played following a really heavy overnight dousing so buggies on paths only which was a problem as it was so hot. However golf staff were brilliant in every way, especially the starter who came around after a while to give us 90 degree access which was a great help. Greens were a little tired however they rolled well and the rest of the course in really good condition. Lots of water, but fairly easy to miss, even with high handicappers. The only thing that spoilt it for me was back in the clubhouse where you had to wait to be seated and had no choice about it. We were given a table right at he back of the clubhouse well away from the bar and all the other golfers. We weren't even allowed to go to the bar to order our drinks and had to wait for service. Whilst this isn't enough to stop us playing the course again, it will stop us using the clubhouse. read more

The course is decent, but staff is pretty rude. Cart person just drives right by you and doesn't stop. One thing I noticed is how much trash and styrofoam in the lake on 18th hole. See attached photo. I'm not sure I'll be back. read more

Well maintained. 2 very different courses available. Both have challenges. Located in Solivita. Make advance tee time to avoid a wait in case of a members tourney. Friendly residents and members in community. Nice food Grille option after round with good menu. Update: Courses both going through renovation. Call to check which one is open & which one is closed. Very much needed. Lost their meticulous edge. read more
