The land is comprised of a 72 par, 6,750 yard course & TheInverness Golf Club has a USGA course rating of 76.3, which is 5.7% higher than the average for all Golf Courses. The course has a USGA slope of 134, which is 3.9% more than the average for all Golf Courses. Lastly The Inverness Golf Course also has a pro shop along with a bar & grill. Working with Jessica Trzop leading up to the event was easy and efficient; she had excellent customer service and ensured that everything we needed was accounted for. Upon arrival, I was surprised to not have known that someone else would be caring for us on the day of the event. I'm wondering if this shift caused things to be lost in communication, as we didn't have things such as the P.A. System and microphone set up, A-frame stands for our welcome sign, or a welcome table. We pivoted and worked through it. Our bartender was so grumpy and passive aggressive. But there was nothing to do about that in the moment either so we tried to kill her with kindness and shake it off. Overall, it ended up being a beautiful shower, the food was excellent, and we were able to persevere through the few hiccups we had.

Before anyone is approved for membership, an email is sent out to existing members, asking for guidance. Members, who knew I was more cautious when it came to masking and my kids, wrote the board asking them to reject our application because of it. The board will refuse to tell you why you were rejected, they just respond by saying, "We stand by our decision". To boot, they informed us by sending a FedEx Express letter that arrived the day after Christmas, and my husband opened and read said letter out loud in front of my kids and parents. The board members did not take the time to meet my family or talk to us. We were left dumbfounded. Biltmore is literally high school all over again. You have the popular girls members and legacy members with a lot of money, and if they don't like you, you won't be allowed into their club. My family's rejection upset and surprised A LOT of people because I'm also a local business owner, a founding member of the Barrington Women In Business group, and President of the Biltmore Oaksbury mom group. Save yourself the time, money, and stress and steer clear of Biltmore. It's not worth the hype. Apply at Barrington Hills Country Club, Wynstone Country Club, or Long Grove.

I will be honest, I was a little apprehensive when I signed up for my first lesson, thinking I was going to get nothing out of it and that it was a waste of money. Immediately walking into the facility, it is state of the art with numerous TRACKMAN hitting bays, putting green, club fitting/building station and the coolest instructor that greeted me immediately with a smile. I knew I was at the right place. I have been playing for 7 years and had a -6 degree club path causing me to have strong fades/slices. The FIRST shot after doing one of his swing thoughts and drills, Brad got me to positive swing path territory and hitting draws... something I have never done. It is also helpful that he has video swing analysis with vectors indicating how your swing is in relation to what is proper. I highly recommend Brad and this facility, and will be back.
