Their work was meticulous and beautiful! Jorge communicated well. His team worked within our condominium's guidelines, arrived when they said they would, and finished on time. Jorge even saved some surplus stone to install in pantry cabinets we just ordered. I'd use Pyramid Granite again in a heartbeat. I recommend them without hesitation!

Some of the major issues included: Design flaws that resulted in unworkable solutions, which Onur refused to rectify. Poor attention to detail in measuring, planning, and managing the project, turning what should have been a 4-5 day job into a frustrating two-month ordeal. Installation problems that remain unresolved because Onur refuses to take responsibility. Two costly issues still unresolved: A custom-built laundry room that wasn't designed to be large enough to properly cover the existing washer and dryer and a floor-to-ceiling swing-out pantry cabinet that, despite being shown with back shelves in the original design, was delivered without them--something Onur insists is "normal," even though my previous pantry of the same style included shelves. So its "normal" for the shelves to swing out and provide access to no shelves and more storage?!?!? I have included pic of these two example but have many more of other details that just don't look good up close. Unfortunately, I've been left with no choice but to hire another company to fix their mistakes. I would strongly caution others to think twice before working with this company. It was a very negative and frustrating experience.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY…read more We ordered very large master bathroom vanity cabinets from Rick in the Chantilly VA location Nov 2022, the cabinets were delivered on time, early Jan 2023. First, the delivery company was very unprofessional and rude. They proceeded to tell me that Cabinet Discounters should have told me that they will only leave them in the garage, which I said I was never told that and it's winter and I do not want them to warp. They ended up leaving the cabinets in the middle of my dining room...6 extremely large boxes. My contractor attempted to install them a few days later and notice one of the doors was not the same design as the rest of the doors. We also noticed a drawer was broken and several panels were warped and not able to align. We called Rick, sent pictures and he ordered the "correct" panel (which when rec'd, was a different color, therefore we had to re-order again). After much back and forth with Rick and he telling me that we will have to pay for someone to come out and "fix" their issue, Rick then came out to our house to see if he can align the cabinets and also to assess the issues. He confirmed there were major issues with the panels and that the doors were warped, etc. Rick took pictures and was supposed to write up what he observed and what was being orders so that we knew what deliveries to expect. We never rec'd a write up from Rick... we then proceeded with in the next few weeks to get 3 additional shipments of panels that were ordered. Again, when we received the additional panels, one broken (which again we had to have another replacement). Once ALL replacement doors were recd, we had our contractor come back (additional cost to us) to attempt to reinstall the 6 panels. Our contractor noticed some of the "new" panels are longer than other, some are wider than others, and again some appear to be warped since they cannot close flush. Again, he was unable to be aligned some cabinets. We have sent emails, made phone calls, Rick has told us that the manufacture is going to call us back, #homecrest and we haven't heard from anyone. It's been over two months now that we have had cabinets installed (without panels), over half of the panels are sitting in my hallway, paid in FULL, paid our contractor additional money in an attempt to "reinstall" the cabinets two separate times. We have had a master bath completely renovated and been waiting two months to be able to use our cabinets. This is horrible customer service, horrible products. They haven't acknowledged the time, money and inconvenience this has caused. They have completely gone silent.

Finally, I went into their Herndon location with the photo of a bright, modern bathroom I liked and within an hour I had most of the design and materials chosen. The next day they sent me an estimate. We tweaked a few things and they put us on the schedule. We really wanted a steam shower and knew that added to the cost but they had experience with steam showers. I could have tried to save money by driving around to different places to choose material and by finding and supervising all the workers on my own (I'm usually a DIY person) but I wanted a contractor who'd oversee everything and make it easy and efficient. We had the same workers every day and they showed up when they were supposed to. They took care of getting building permits and scheduling county inspectors. I'm picky about tilework and the guy did an excellent job with cutting 3 different styles of tile. You have to walk through our bedroom to get to the bath so they put up a big plastic tarp wall to minimize dirt and give us some privacy. They put down cloths in our hall every day to keep the floors clean. Everything was spotless when they finished. I'd read some negative reviews about communication before we started and I discussed this with them. The project manager came to check on the work every 4 days and discuss changes or concerns. Every change we requested was updated in the contract. Communication was excellent. It's been 6 months and I'm very happy with our gorgeous bathroom!

7/23/25 We were referred to Neka Granite by family and…read moreinitially excited to work with them. But our experience was a nightmare. We chose a rare Ijen Blue Quartzite slab--half light, half dark--and clearly communicated (in person, by text, and with a visit to their showroom) that we wanted the light portion at the front sink area and dark in the back. They agreed multiple times. Installation day came, and the layout was completely reversed. They had cut the slab incorrectly, and no one warned us. When we paused the install, we were blamed for not buying a $450 rendering. Yet no one told us this was required to ensure our layout was followed. When we voiced concern, the regional manager, BK, called and was shockingly unprofessional, telling me to calm down, saying our job was "just one slab," and implying our project was too small to matter. He refused to take responsibility and repeatedly said they "did nothing wrong." He also said that they would have cut it anyway they determined was right and it didn't matter if we did the rendering. Being gaslit, told my project was small, and changing the orientation of the beautiful quartzite was beyond the pale. The way they cut the stone did change how we had planned our kitchen to look. For a $10,000 job on a $2,800 slab, this was beyond disappointing. We allowed the install just to get them out of our home. I've worked with contractors nationwide, and this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had.

We would easily rate them 5 stars, save for a few communication missteps along the way. Specifically, there was some confusion around the bathroom mirrors (we expected medicine cabinets), the window frames, and flickering lights. For example, we clearly requested to have the window frame removed and tiled around, but the decision to keep it was made without consulting us because they felt it wouldn't look right. Similarly, when we asked about flickering lights, we were told that a bidet always causes flicker unless a separate line is run. Given the cost of the project, details like that should have been brought to our attention while the lines were actively being run so we could make an informed choice, rather than after the fact. That said, they are great at explaining the reasoning behind their work, and we would certainly hire them again. Our advice to future clients is simply to be extremely explicit about what you want and double-check that every specific detail is written directly into the contract before signing.
