Want to know just how good the quality of their paint is?? I own a condo, and have owned 3 homes. All 4 residents have had Sherwin-Williams paint- nothing less. I might also add that I have 5 offspring under the age of 14 years old. Yes- FIVE kids under 15! This paint has taken a beating at all 4 residents and kept on ticking beautifully! This paint can withstand the beat and battle of 5 little one and still look flawless on the walls! If that doesn't tell you how good a quality Sherwin-Williams paint is- I don't know what would! From eggshell, to flat to semi-gloss and satin, I've tried it all and love each of them in their appropriate spaces. If you have lots of kids, or even just one, you know handprints and little fingerprints are inevitable on walls, Sherwin-Williams satin is your best bet, which tolerates light scrubbing and can be wiped clean. Eggshell finishes are somewhat resistant to stains and scuffs, and would be a good bet too, if you don't want that shiny finish that satin tends to have. Both have worked amazing in my homes for all the millions of touching of the walls by my kids over the years. Sherwin-Williams paint also works great in the kitchen. In my previous home behind my kitchen sink it was painted. When my kids would wash their hands they had a tendency to turn on the water full blast. This would lead to water all over the paint. 6 years in that house, and that paint still looked great- even with all that water logging from the kids. Do you get it yet?? Sherwin-Williams can with stand it all! If my home can still look beautiful with five rambunctious kids imagine what it could look like in your home! Don't get me started on the colors either! Once I entered the shop, a lovely woman was working and asked if I was looking for anything in particular. I learned that she is a vendor, and others are as well. One other woman that has a shop on Mound used to also be a vendor as well. She gave me a lot of information and showed me around some pieces. I found an adorable stool perfect for our kitchen. I also found a super cute plant table perfect for my hall by the front door. It matches my bench there perfectly. I was super excited. She told me that some vendors are also willing to negotiate a little on prices, depending on the items. I really loved one of the night stands and I was going to buy one, but I could not decide which would fit best. She suggested I take measurements and see which would fit better. She did not push me to make the buy. She told me to think it over night and if I were to decide to buy it, I could always call to hold it. She was super sweet and helpful. She even helped me carry my items out to the car as well. Both pieces are painted beautifully, and they even sell the paint in store. I will 100% be back very very soon!

There is an array of fun and funky items for home, garden and gift giving to the person that has everything. I fell in love with all the re-purposed dresser drawers; they were so beautiful! The two women that were overseeing the shop for the day were very informative and pleasant. They are talented artisans that re-purpose much of the furniture that you'll see in the shop. Not only are they talented and friendly but they are generous as well. The owners and the employees give back to the community by donating furniture to Turning Point, one of the top woman's abuse shelters for the Macomb county area. You can even take a class so you can learn how to paint and re-purpose your own table, dressers, etc. The owner, Denise Schultz, provides music lessons to youngsters. This store and the people that oversee it are what is considered "the salt of the earth"; please come out and support them. I brought along a couple of old Benjamin Moore paint cans that were about seven years old assuming I'd need to replace them. Instead of trying to sell me two new gallons at $50 each, the staff inspected the paint, found it was still in good condition, and offered to strain, thin, and repackage it into new cans. The total cost to me was about $10. I also had a few basic questions about how to properly retouch the walls, and the staff took the time to explain everything to me in detail. It's rare to walk into a business for the first time and encounter such a customer-focused approach. I highly recommend supporting this store. It also felt great to give my business to a local paint shop rather than a big-box chain.

The wasps initially fell to the ground but apparent shook it off and went back to their nest. So I went back to return a product that was ineffective, now mind you this can of spray costs $4.56. so I was not returning it for the money and actually I was going to buy a more expensive brand in hopes it would be more effective. To my surprise the cashier took the bottle and disappeared. She did not tell me where she was going. She returns to tell me that because the product was used they could not return it. So I asked to speak to the manager that made this I'll advised decision to stand his ground for $4.56 bottle of wasp spray and because he did so he now lost out on several hundreds of dollars of future purchases I will have to make for the house. I believe there is training needed to understand how to make a profit. I don't know too many business that can afford to lose customers! Do better!
