She was so upset and had to scream and get irate in order for him to give it back. He took it because he swore it was fake ! The only reason he even gave it back was because another security officer that worked for the grounds at the space needle suggested that he should. He had absolutely no reason to take her ID let alone try and keep it. This was confirmed by ACTUAL Police officers that we had to get involved because the situation escalated just that much. Also , another member of the team from Str8 up confirmed it was a real government ID without even having to use a black light. Even the police looked at it and could clearly see it was real. I feel like he targeted my daughter for his own reasons. What other reason could you have possibly mistaken this ID for a fake and then take it upon yourself to try and keep it. None. I wouldn't want this type of behavior being displayed at any of my events, stores, anything. Do your self a favor and find a different security company.

I'd be happy to pay their hourly fee." I booked both of our cleaning appointments with Patrice (owner) in October. I solidified everything two days prior via a text and phone call. The first job was to simply help with some deep cleaning of the house we were moving into. Lauren and Kenny showed up, on time, and did a fantastic job. They personally receive 5 stars from me! ***I would hire them again in a heartbeat...if they were NOT affiliated with Maid in Whidbey*** The second job, helping to provide a lite cleaning of the house we moved out of, is where Maid in Whidbey completely let my family and me down. Our appointment was scheduled for 10:00am on Sunday, November 5th. At 9:45am I got a text from Patrice asking "how flexible" my schedule was because they were running behind. Changing the time wasn't an issue, so we re-scheduled for later that day (1:00pm). At 12:50pm I received a phone call from Patrice stating that they weren't going to be able to come at all that day because they were so far behind. Not wanting to completely cancel, we once again rescheduled; Monday morning at 8:00am. Now, normally I wouldn't mind nor stress about the rescheduling, however, our move out inspection was scheduled for that day at 3:00pm. My husband arrived at our old house at 7:45am, just in case they were a bit early. He was there until 11:00am cleaning by himself because MAID IN WHIDBEY FAILED TO SHOW UP AND PROVIDE THEIR SCHEDULED SERVICES. My husband and I called and text Patrice, to no avail. I reached out over Facebook Messenger and received no response. I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt before posting this review, thinking maybe she would touch base and explain why she didn't show up. However, it's been 48 hours and we've heard nothing. We came back to our home after being gone a few weeks to find over $1000 of items missing. When we called her she failed to tell us more than one person had been at our house. The police had a hard time reaching her and when we emailed her and told her they were going to file a court order, she finally called them and obviously notified them that it could be several people. One gal has been arrested, though the police said she is probably not who stole from us (my guess is others reported the crimes too) and that they are investigating other people who may have robbed us. I deal with a charity that helps homeless and at risk people but, I would never allow them into a clients home unsupervised. She put us at risk and I am sure we will discover more items missing as well. She is not honest and did not disclose she hired others to do the work.

The 2 cleaners were not even going to dust the support beam until I asked and there was so much dust up there. I had small plant splotches on the tile entry which moping did not remove so I had to ask them to do more. That's when she took a razor blade to scrape off the paint. There was also a little bit of paint left on the tile countertop that was not removed. The attention to detail wasn't really there. The hourly rate for 2 cleaners is $80 but the additional charge of $20-50 is where there's not enough transparency. I did not know what this additional charge would be ahead of time. I was charged an additional $30 for cleaning products...when all I saw was a couple Swiffer duster pads, microfiber towels, and some spray solution used. I have hardwood and I'm not convinced they even used hardwood specific products. I also got a text at 205pm for my 2pm appointment that they would be an hour late. I did not appreciate the late notice as I was waiting already. I was pretty disappointed with this cleaning experience and would use a different company next time.
