I had an appointment here at Stone Wood Dental on Tuesday, June 4th with dentist, Kelly. When I arrived to my appointment, I was approximately two minutes late. I arrived at 11:02 AM when I got there, she said give me one second. We are very strict about being late because I was a little late to my last appointment and she went to the back to see if it was OK that I was two minutes late to my already paid for and already scheduled appointment. She came back out and said that she would not be seeing me for my appointment for being two minutes late, and not only that but they were going to be taking me off of my dentist schedule and putting me on a completely new schedule with a different dentist that I had already stated I did not want to see also not to mention me and dentist Kelly already have a very extensive dental plan going on. She said that Megan would be in touch but three days later there is no contact from megan. I never even scheduled this appointment On June 4th, my appointment was supposed to be in two weeks, but they called me on June 3rd and said they have an opening the next morning if I could come and fill the spot for them. I told them yes that I would be there. I also had already paid over $200 for This appointment and then they treat me this way for being 2 MINUTES LATE. I have been going to this dentist for over a decade nearly 15 years and to be treated this way over being two minutes late is completely unorthodox and very Outrageous I cannot believe I am being treated this way. My feelings are very hurt. The tooth that I was supposed to be getting worked on has been giving me trouble for months and I even Complained that it was hurting So for them to treat me this way after even after saying that I have had tooth pain is completely Ridiculous not to mention that The treatment I was supposed to be getting done would take about two hours So they booked me to be there for two hours and because I was two minutes late they canceled the whole appointment canceled my whole dental plan and tried to get me to a new dentist knowing that I have dental pain going on right now. so what did y'all do for the next two hours? Just sit there and stare at the wall. This whole experience has just been an absolute joke and I will never be coming back to this dentist After being a loyal customer for 15 years. I do not recommend this dentist to Anyone unless you're willing to break the law and run through red lights and dodge in and out of traffic so that you are not two minutes Late to an appointment. And definitely do not pre-pay for any appointments unless you want your money stolen last minute. Dr. Steve Childress needs to examine his staff and make sure everything is being done properly because never in my 15 years of being a customer here has this ever been a problem. I am severely disappointed with this whole experience, and I hope to be compensated in full for this awful awful Experience do not come to this dentist unless you want your time to be played with and your money to be played with. This has been a complete joke and a waste of my time. Once again this was with dentist Kelly and her administrator also named Kelly. So if you do end up going here steer clear from them. But like I said I DO NOT RECOMMEND. I would give 0 stars if I could. read more

I've been coming here for a while, they've been good well that's what I thought at first. In January I went in for my cleaning & they said I just had 1 cavity. I got it filled & I go in again in July for my next cleaning & they look at my old X-ray saying I have a cavity & I need it filled right away if not it'll go to my nerve! Almost 7 months with a cavity they could of told me about! Now I'm receiving a bill saying my insurance only covers 1 filling in each tooth a year. Stonewood dental is billing my insurance for the wrong teeth. I don't trust them anymore, time to look for a better one! Please people watch out take your business elsewhere. It's for your health they clearly don't care if they let me go home with a cavity that long! Or just watch carefully & get paperwork every time you go here. read more

Very great staff all around. The Dr was amazing, truly the best dental experience I've ever had. Price without is worth it, doesn't break the bank. Once we started, things went much fast than I expected. 10 hours later I feel good as new. 5/5 would recommend. read more

Extremely reasonable pricing! This is the only Dentist's office I've found who would offer discounted pricing/price adjustments! I'm considered self-pay, & I'm legally disabled, receiving only a small, fixed stipend from Social Security Disability... The more work that Dr. Childress is able to do per 'session' the less he will charge because he's getting more done at once. He's very personable, too, even though he's very busy, talks pretty fast, but he'll still spend the time necessary for you to understand & be comfortable with the decision you make after he gives you your options. I'm going back! They fixed my smile on the first visit, although I had to wait just under two more days to pick up the device they fabricated for my mouth/tooth replacement. This dental office is amazing! Great communication, they are very good with teenagers, and the whole atmosphere is so zen and quiet!

I've never had a better experience at a Dentist office before! We just moved to Texas, and my daughter needed 2 baby teeth pulled for braces. Of course our insurance is out of network now, but this office has a flat rate for people without insurance and it's very reasonable ($150). The dentist and staff went above and beyond to make me feel like the only client in the world. Not only did the dentist remove those teeth like an artist, but he took an extra 30 minutes giving me recommendations on the local area for basic things. He insisted that if I needed any advice on anything to just give them a call and they would be happy to give me recommendations to doctors and other places. This is the sort of thing you would only expect your family or close friends to do. Most businesses just want you to pay and leave, but not this one. read more

I would give this place zero stars if that were an option. I had an appointment scheduled for today. When I arrived, I was informed that less than half the dental work would be performed because I did not confirm my appointment. I was upset to hear this because I had scheduled this appointment three weeks ago and I took off from work to attend this appointment. I was informed by the office admin, Paula, that she called me on Friday and I did not answer to confirm the appointment so she took it upon herself to make other appointments during my appointment time. This was very unprofessional. I was not informed that my appointment would be cancelled or had been cancelled. This has been a waste of my time and my money. I do not recommend this place if you work an 8-5 job. This is a place that clearly does not care about their patients. Terrible customer service. Paula was not helpful or apologetic at all for scheduling other people during my appointment time and not sending me notice. I am very disappointed with this place. I have cancelled all pending appointments at Stonewood Dental and I am currently looking for a new dentist. Hopefully the new location has people that care about the patients and respect scheduled appointments. read more

Best dental office I went too people are friendly and merciful, office is clean tools are in good shape doctor Childress is very good at what he does ,doctor Ryan done my root canals fillings easy and no problem the office manager and the lady that takes the payements were very nice and able to work with my budget God bless this place and everyone that works there . read more
