But a great plumber is only good if you can get a response from them. I've been dealing with him for several years now. Consistently I've had to message repeatedly, call repeatedly. On occasion - as the first time I contacted him probably in 2023 - he answers the phone himself, and provides info on what he thinks the problem is. And he does phenomenal work. After a few years of being a good customer, patient, paying on time, never objecting to pricing, I **STILL** cannot get a response from him. One issue is that he's a one man show. It's him, or no one. His wife is lovely and accompanies him at times. Very knowledgeable herself. About 4 weeks ago I initiated contact and he responded immediately via text. Great, I thought. Then nothing. After a few more messages checking in, he said there was a family medical situation. I gave him space, and here we are two weeks and yet another text message to him later, and nothing. Nada. And still a leaking well tank. C'mon. Do better. We are done, hope you sort yourself out with other customers - I've seen several other people have had the same experience.

What I got in return was a notice from a debt collection company, which of course hurt my credit rating, and the time and bother it took to call American Pest and find out that someone had entered the bill for the next to last visit twice, effectively cancelling my payment for it and triggering the debt collection letter. I've cancelled all future visits and am looking elsewhere now for more professional service

We have been clients of American Pest (formerly Interstate Pest Control) for 20+ years, we have had…read morean annual spraying and a booster done. We had an active termite infestation, they came out and analyzed it and then called Interstate Repair Services, they gave us an estimate of $1500.00 worth of damage. That did not even cover the insulation that had to be replaced. Look elsewhere for a reputable Pest company that honors its warranties. I had found the original warranty from 2000 and it states that with an active termite infestation they will pay the damages. I can attest they will not, you will be left doing the repair work and paying for it. I contemplated legal action, but at this point, it is not worth it, I have dealt with chain companies, and they are very good at hiding behind franchises. I will make it a point to let everyone know, this is how they treat customers.
