Wow! Everything about this hotel was lovely! Traveling a lot like we do we see the good and not so good but this was the GREAT! We appreciated the friendly faces at the front desk and how welcoming the entire staff was! Big shoutout to the staff there and to their top notch customer service. The location was close to Tulsa (only 15 min to where we played that night) but also felt quiet and safe. We felt fine parking our van and trailer there at the end of the night which is really important. There are also quite a few shops nearby which is handy if you've forgotten something during your travels like we often do. I loved how by the front desk they have a pantry area in the front by the desk so you can quickly grab a snack without having to leave the hotel! Or if you are up to it you can cook a meal in your room in the kitchen. This is a great option if you are on a budget or need to stick to a specific diet (very difficult to do when traveling but not so bad when you can cook for yourself!). The rooms are ENORMOUS! With a little living area, kitchen and bed room these are more like apartments than hotel rooms. We all had a great night's sleep in the super comfy beds. The entire hotel is taken care of well and is clean (this helps you sleep better!) We loved staying here and highly recommend this hotel! Good things: reasonably clean Good price Friendly staff Good location Good breakfast Improvement needed: Suites are only equipped for three people so if you have kids like we do, you won't have enough dishes. More bedding needed. They were good about giving us an extra blanket, but really if there is a hide-a-bed, there should be a warm blanket in the room for that bed. The blanket in the room was not even as thick as a flannel sheet. Updates needed in furnishings. The couch is really uncomfortable. Needs USB ports I am pretty sure the place hasn't been updated in thirty years as far as furniture and electronics. Overall, not bad, not great. read more

Wow, lots to unpack here. Very pet friendly and loved our dogs but didn't love them enough to clean up the hundreds of cigarette butts scattered all around the grass surrounding the hotel where we took them out. I was told I couldn't have quarters to do my laundry because they were all out since "the new girl forgot to remind them to go to the bank that morning" ?? What kind of excuse is that?? To make things worse, after going through the hassle of leaving to get quarters somewhere else the dryers weren't functioning at all. Didn't have any luggage carts the day we checked out from our few week stay (we had a significant amount of bags and things). We followed up periodically throughout the day, even at 11pm we were told all of them were lost or stashed away in guests rooms still. The attendant rudely said "what do you want me to do about it? Knock on everyone's door in the whole hotel?" Uhhh... if that's what it takes YES please do that- isn't it your job?? Or maybe be competent enough to have a system of keeping track of the last people to check in and use it? No service past around 9pm, the front desk people are nowhere to be found except outside for a smoke (see above about the cigarette butts...) All doors to the stairways were broken for the whole duration of our stay, they'd lock behind you and the key slot was broken or something. They told me it's because they needed to order the part but for the whole week I was there it remained the same. All electrical outlets except the ones in our bathroom were broken (tv, phone, desk, side lamps, etc. didn't work) Weirdest mildew essence stench. I thought I'd get used to it but even after days I was gagging every time I entered my room. I feel like that about covers it. Plenty of hotels nearby that I'm sure are better. read more

I love Marriott. I always stay in a Marriott. This one is less impressive than others in that it is noticeably outdated. What disappointed me most is that the man checking me in asked me if I was traveling alone out loud. As a young girl, who was traveling alone, this isn't an appropriate question to ask for whomever is also in the lobby to hear the answer to. I had a fine stay with no other issues, and it is in a nice area, but all in all I'm taking off a star. read more

I have stayed at this hotel a few times and I keep coming back. The hotel is nicely redone. Very well-maintained overall. The rooms I have stayed in had king beds and full kitchen. They were spacious and clean! Beds in Marriott are always great. You can borrow small appliances as/when needed. Parking is always included. There are a number of restaurants and stores nearby. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would love to stay there again. read more

TownePlace Suites Tulsa Broken Arrow offered a pleasant, comfortable, and relaxing experience. The staff was wonderful, the hotel was very clean and the location is great. The room is super comfy. Great bed, great shower. Plenty of storage space is you're staying a while. There's also a microwave, range, dishwasher and full size fridge and coffee pot -- dishes, silverware, and cooking supplies as well. I mostly relaxed and cooked in the room! Complimentary hot breakfast is served every morning. They've got a fitness center, pool, AND hot tub as well. Parking is easy and it's right off the highway. I would highly recommend the Tulsa Broken Arrow TownPlace Suites to any and all travelers. Stay here! read more

This was a disappointing stay from start to finish. We learned once we arrived to check in that this location does not do contactless check-in/check-out. There was no antibacterial soap in the hotel suite, and the front desk staff was always dismissive. The kitchenette had hardly any cookware/silverware/dishes, and what we found was dirty and tiny. There was only half a roll of paper towels in the kitchenette, it had apparently been used by the last guest and left for us. The water in our room had to run for more than 5 minutes before getting hot. The light over the stove didn't work. We had no luck turning the oven on, and didn't want to ask the front desk because of previously being rushed through our questions. We were told at check-out that there was a trick to it, but there were no written instructions about anything anywhere. No welcome book with wifi info, TV channel guide, etc., and there was no information about what to do with our full kitchen trash bags. There wasn't a desk with a notepad and pen, there wasn't a sponge to clean dishes in the kitchen, there wasn't a first-aid kit in the kitchen(which there absolutely needs to be) or child safety locks on the lower cabinet doors, and there were no folding racks for our suitcases or bags for dirty laundry. The TV in the room was tiny, and almost every power outlet in the room was loose, especially the ones near the beds. The carpet had clearly not been vacuumed, the accent chairs were stained, the window curtains were stained and had holes in them. The bathroom was so tiny that you step out of the shower and into the toilet bowl. The beds were comfortable and smelled clean, but they were held up by cheap bedframes, and the space between them was the only truly accessible walkway. All of the furniture in the room was too bulky for how small the space was, it was a regular-sized hotel room with a kitchenette squeezed in, and a too-big dining set and too wide accent chairs. Our room was also right next to the laundry chute and housekeeping rooms, so no quiet naps in the morning or afternoon, they slammed doors all day long. We had our dogs with us and they barked at almost every noise for almost 48 hours. The noise would not have been so loud if the door to our room was sealed correctly, but looking at it from inside with the lights off you could see the light from the hallway coming in all around the door, we ended up putting a towel against the door to try to muffle the sound/light. At one point, it sounded like there were several elephants running in the room above us, and their booming and slamming continued for what felt like hours. We knew when they went out for dinner and when they came back, and when they woke the next morning and came back again. The one sanitizer dispenser we saw was next to the first floor elevator doors and was empty. The hotel supposedly had a mask policy but it was not enforced. This would not have been so bad if there were more exits and more places to take dogs outside. Also, we were apparently the only guests to pick up after our dogs, and we had to carefully walk through the designated area without stepping in anything. We found a razorblade in the grass in that designated area, along with so many cigarette butts it would have taken weeks for them to accumulate. There was a small amount of sidewalk near the small parking lot and designated dog area, which meant walking through the parking lot more often than necessary and is dangerous. Marriot is clearly not taking this pandemic seriously and they have had plenty of time to implement new policies and changes to make guests feel comfortable in such a high-traffic business. Antibac soap, hand sanitizer, and disinfectant needs to be available in every area, as well as disposable masks(a good marketing/advertising method). Contactless everything(within reason) needs to be the new normal. Housekeeping needs to thoroughly clean and disinfect everything in every room before and after each guest, and extra cleaning supplies should be left in each room so that guests can disinfect themselves and their belongings after being exposed to shared spaces(elevators, stairwells, hallways, doorways, etc.). Marriott also doesn't seem to feel obligated to update the hotel rooms since this location opened in 2008. Everything in our room was clearly more than a decade old. Overall, we felt that Marriott has put very little effort toward the health and safety of guests and their pets, and that they would rather not lose any business by partially closing to renovate/redecorate. This hotel was a welcomed surprise especially for the price. Clean, friendly and quiet made for a great night's stay and is a stone's throw from Bass Pro Shop. There was a bit of light gap around the door which was a bit annoying. In the morning, I did hear a yappy dog next door but we were leaving so no harm no foul. The free breakfast was awesome! Scrambled eggs, bacon, over-easy eggs and all the carbs made for a great start to the day. I would stay here again. read more

Worst experience I have ever had checking into any hotel in my life. I get here, and they can't find my reservation. Finally they tell me that someone has already checked me in (emphasis on the word 'me'). So, the lady checking me in says "lets go up to the room to make sure no one else is there"... Wait, what? You mean you have no idea if someone else is in the room that I reserved??? And... the room I used my credit card to reserve it with??? What? So... of we trudge, up to the room... to only find out someone is already there... Who the lady thoroughly scarred by opening up the door after a soft knock... Back down to the front desk.... no available room types that I reserved... So, she giggled her way through another process.. this is like 45 minutes of checking in... She finds a room for me (by the way, I am traveling with family) and off we go... The room we are in now.... TV has a huge black spot in the middle of the screen... found a clipped finger nail on the carpet... Seriously... the Marriott name has a certain expectation that is not being met here... ohh. and the telephone in the room only works on speaker phone... read more

Nice hotel, rude staff, manager who hides from guests. The hotel is nice but the front desk is both rude and extremely unhelpful. When my wife was given a hard time checking in, I spoke to the front desk person who continually interrupted me. When I asked to speak to the manager I was told she wasn't available, so I left my number and she never called. So either the front desk lack integrity and are not passing along messages to the manager or the manager is lacking customer service and not willing to interface with customers. I called Marriott directly, waited on hold for 20 minutes and hung up. So if you stay at the hotel and have no issues then great. But if you do have any issue then too bad for you, the front desk will be rude, the manager will hide from you and Marriott corporate will try not to help. Worst experience I've had with a Marriott hotel and I stay about 80 nights a year in a hotel. Up to this point I've performed mostly Marriott properties, there are so many others to choose from I see no reason to stay at a hotel chain that is going to be rude to my wife. read more

This particular location wasn't the best, it was not a problem with the hotel, but there was construction going on nearby 24/7 and all I could hear was cutting/grinding all night. read more

The manager was very nice to give us a room even so that we had booked the wrong month. But the breakfast was not the best and the walls are so thin. We heard the people above us walking around until midnight, nightly. We won't stay in there again. read more
