5 STARS!! I cannot recommend Stoney's Garage & Luis enough. I brought in my 2019 Mercedes GLC 300 for an AC issue after another shop quoted me thousands for repairs. Luis told me to come in for a free diagnostic and immediately walked me through exactly how he'd evaluate the problem and what the possible outcomes could be. He showed me everything & results in real time--and it turns out my car had no significant leaks, and I did NOT need the $3,500 repair I was quoted elsewhere. Instead, he gave me an honest assessment, clear next steps, and transparent pricing before doing any work. He even outlined potential future issues and realistic cost ranges so I'd know what to expect if the issue showed up again. Luis is honest, thorough, efficient, and incredibly kind and patient. Luis, the owner was amazing. I went to get some valves changed in two tires. He had quoted me $30 per tire on the phone. When I arrived he looked at my tires and saw that I didn't need to change the valve and he fixed the problem. He didn't want to charge me at all since it was something small. Really appreciated his honesty and quick work as most auto shops aren't honest and make you wait a long time. Will be definitely going back. Thanks Luis. read more

Went in today to mount my tires on my rim. Guy was very friendly but when he put my rim back onto my car.. he didn't tighten my lugs. I left and got onto the turnpike and my car was vibrating like crazy!!! Shop isn't trust worthy at all. read more

We brought our car here, thinking it was a good place to go due to the reviews. Every time something would happen we would have to UBER 30-40 minutes to the auto shop to go and buy the piece, and he would tell us piece by piece making us HAVE to go back and forward MULTIPLE TIMES A WEEK and when we'd order it online we would PAY TO get the products EXPEDITED, for them to just have the piece sit there for DAYS. We finally got the car out and ended up paying DOUBLE from what we agreed on, not even 24 HOURS and the car stopped working. ! DO NOT RECOMMEND! read more

Great service! Fast service! Very customer orientated. I'm going on my second car having Stoney's as my mechanic. They're honest and reliable. I've never had to go back and have things looked at again. I'm alway confident that the can get the job done. From replacing an entire transmission to my routine oil changes; they've done it all right the first time. I always refer them to anyone that needs any type of service. They do all types of cars/trucks as well. My parents would take their European cars for service as well. These guys know cars! I always call ahead the day before for my routine oil changes and they have the parts waiting for me when I come in! You don't get the kind of personal service at dealers like you do at Stoney's. My 10yr. old car's low tire pressure indicator light was on, so I had Luis at Stoney's look at it. He determined that the "sensor" for one of the tires was bad and went ahead and installed a new one at a cost to me of $200. He did not ask me if I thought that was worth doing. Later that day I found the indicator light on again so I returned to Stoney's Luis "fixed" it again, and again, and again, until finally telling me that the REAL problem was "batteries" in each tire that were failing, one after the other, and that to REALLY fix the problem (that wasn't worth the spent $200) would cost me an additional $430- to replace the other three batteries. So, after more than half a dozen trips to Stoney's and $200 I received only an education in what was not worth doing for my car. read more

These guys are Great!! I have a 67 Mustang and there are not many people in Miami that work on these old cars and do a good job at a fair price. these guys not only fixed the problems that I found, but they also found some small things and just went and fixed them without charging. They called my at every step and explained the problem and then we worked out the most reassonable solution together. These guys know what they are doing, they are priced very fair and they communicate better than any shop I have found in Miami! Cannot recommend these guys enough!! I took my car to Stoney's Garage for 5 years while I was living in Miami for graduate school. A friend referred me to them, and I have been referring people to them ever since. I believe their prices are fair and they are honest and trustworthy people who appreciate their customers. I usually brought my car in the morning for an oil change and to have them inspect the car for any maintenance needs. Bob and Paul were great about calling me as soon as they had looked at the car and would explain in detail what they had found. They never pressured me to have anything done to the car, and were honest about which issues were priorities and which issues they just wanted to monitor over time. My Toyota Camry is 16 years old, so regular maintenance has been important and I trusted Stoney's to know what needed to be done to keep the car in good shape, and it has been running great! The service is very personalized, which I really value in a business - they knew my name and my car and the work they had already done. Paul always went above and beyond, like when he took the time to buff off a bunch of yellow paint on my car from hitting a pole without my asking. I always felt taken care of there. I recently drove my car cross country to move, and they did a thorough inspection and made sure everything was in proper condition for a long drive in the heat. They told me to call if I had any questions, and I actually did call them with a mechanical question when I arrived in CA and spoke to Paul, who gave me good advice. I have been a long time customer, introduced by a friend. Bob the owner was great, he recently retired and I hope the new ownership continues his legacy of treating customers well, Paul has stayed on and as the heart of the shop, I am confident that nothing will change. I am always told what the problem is, options and cost for fixing and how long it will take, never any big surprises or someone will call up to tell me that they found something and ask if its ok to fix that also. When they are not the best for the job, they will happily recommend another speciality shop - I have brought in a jeep, toyota and mercedes so occasionally they recommend I take the merc to a dealer for a specific mercedes part that could be hard for them to get, or the mercedes repair shop down the street. I dont know if they do this for everyone but they will drop the car off at my house because I live fairly close by. Saves me a lot of trouble. Honest and reliable is definitely how I would rate them, very hard for me to find honest mechanics so stoney's is my go to place for anything car related. read more
