Fresh donuts. Not warm but nicely sugared and a touch of cinnamon too. They use the mulling spice tea bag for their hot cider. The donuts are quite yummy here. I amongst considered going back in to get a dozen. The cider is quite flavorful with the mulling spices here. They have an assortment of apples here and bosc pears too. Honey, maple syrup and lots of jams too. I already want more donuts. Bring cash here, they don't have an ATM Machine and they charge you a 3% convenience with your purchase when you use a credit card here. read more

We loved this cider mill. The best donuts we have had this fall. Great place to relax for cider and donuts. Also great hot cider and cider slushy. There is also a store with apples, honey, and cute fall items. Also pick your own apples. . I really liked how this place did not have all the touristy stuff, but rather the basics that tasted great! My friends and I went to six cider mills last fall and this place was our favorite. The cider was the best of them all. I would really recommend this place for cider and donuts. I am so confused by the reviews of others. It's no frills, yes, but the apple selection is pitiful! We went on September 27, 2020 and the apples were comically small.. two bites and they were gone. We spent an hour walking around trying to fill our bag with literally any apples. They were all either already on the ground or rotten on the branch. The cider was subpar, but the plain and cinnamon doughnuts were excellent. We won't be back. read more

This is a great no-frills apple orchard. They have a sales store with jams, jellies, spreads and already picked apples. Outside is a nice Donut House with cider and donuts. There is a small hay/straw bales for kids to climb on. The donuts and cider here were pretty tasty - donuts were hot and the cider was nice and crisp with lots of apple taste in a little cup. I love going to these smaller orchards as they are usually less crowded. read more

Very cute and cozy cider mill without all the crazy extras (aka bounce houses) that you don't need. Just good old apples, pumpkins, cider and donuts. You can do a hayride for pumpkin picking and or a variety of different apple picking, they give you a bag to stuff all the apples into you can stuff. There's a store selling apples, baked goods, jams & jellies, and caramel apples, bags of apples, apple cider. All good stuff. They also have a little hut making fresh donuts & hot or cold apple cider. Theres a huge picnic area with picnic tables, and a hay stack a lot of kids are always playing on. I don't care where you go apple picking: Stop going there, and come here. My family has been coming here for 2-3 years, and we love it. We're all adults, so we have no need for the overstuffed FALL FAMILY FUN!!!! that every other orchard seems to offer. We're not trying to spend an entire day feeding goats and frolicking in hay. We want to pick some apples, eat a donut, and maybe buy a jar of honey. They charge the 6 of us $20 total for one shared bag. Now this bag seems medium-size at best, but it's a black hole. We fit an obscene amount of apples into this bag, I really should weigh it this year. I bake my little heart out, and we still never polish off the entire bag. It's a bit of an undiscovered jewel, so there's not many other families picking, which is nice for us, no children running and screaming. There's a good variety to pick from, usually 3-4 different kinds. We're fond of the Ida Reds. In the store room, they have the rest of the varieties, including Honeycrisps, as well as jams, honey, cider, and any other produce that's left(I think we've gotten peppers and raspberries before). They have pumpkins, I'm not sure if you can pick your own. The donuts. Praise. If you get them fresh and hot, they might just be the best thing I've ever tasted. During peak season, they have more variety like pumpkin and nutty. The cider is served either cold or hot, and it's delicious. read more

I visited Stony Creek as part of the Yelp Cider Mill crawl this weekend. It's a very understated place...no crazy tourist ambiance, unless you count the impressive variety of antlers on the wall. Of all the local apple cider I've tried this season, the cider from Stony Creek is the most...appley. It tastes like eating an apple, not just like apple juice. It's got a great flavor, sweetness, and texture. I knocked off a star because they were almost out of donuts by mid-afternoon. The Yelp group polished off the lot, and they said that they would have made more if they knew we were coming. Oh, and if you have a dog, you can get it groomed there too! Almost injured on their hayride to and from by the same Driver, he took off without warning or looking back on everybody . I was standing on the tongue to enter the Haywagon due to medical reasons, I could not hop on the side. my daughter was half on the side and not fully on. I had to jump onto a Hay-bale to avoid being run over. It Was the gentleman with the red plaid coat gray hoodie and blue baseball cap about 65 years old. I tried to tell him after we stopped that I almost got run over and he said " well I said I was going" I told him you never even looked back. he looked at me like that it was my problem that he almost ran me over. I did not want to take the same wagon back but he was the only one aroun Myself and seven other family members , even a baby in the stroller that wasn't with us were ran through overhanging bushes and almost got our leg hit at the end of the return by a bunch of pallets on the side of the woods I hope he wasn't under the influence of Drugs or Alchohol. read more

I give this five stars for what it is. And it is exactly what we were looking for. A low-key orchard with cider and donuts. There is a small store with cider by the gallon, fresh eggs, and some jams and jellies. The focus is on picking apples. You get hayride to an orchard where you can fill your bag with which ever varieties of apples are in season. There is no extra charge for the hayride. There are donuts and cider for sale, some old farm equipment to look at, and a stack of hay bales for the kids to climb. There are no bounce houses or petting farms. You won't find a full restaurant menu or a haunted house. It is not at all touristy. If you're looking for a day picking apples this is your place. read more

Stopped at this place during a Yelp Event Cider Mill Crawl and this place was my favorite. What I like about this place is that they don't try to jazz it up to cater to the burb families and hipster city folk. It is a family run business that has been doing it the same for years. My wife spent some time talking to one of the proprietors who had been working there since she was 10 years old and married into the family. Now that's the type of tradition I love and hope never dies in our society. Cider was delicious. read more

The person who wrote a month ago to stop going anywhere else was right. This place is the best. Local, gorgeous, bucolic orchard nestled among the more commercial places nearby. The most delicious apples in a quiet, serene, old-fashioned orchard. Authentic tractor rides to get to the back of the orchard, a fresh donut house, cider, maple syrup, and family-owned for generations. Don't waste your money and time anywhere else. Great little place that is not so commercial. Skip Miller's and go here instead! We paid $20 for a half bushel bag of apples. We took a hayride out to pick apples, and they had some ladders set up out there for everyone to use. Very friendly, helpful staff. There were so many apples this year it took 5 min to fill the bag, and the tractor was back quickly to pick us up! Great doughnuts! read more

Great little apple orchard!! Definitely not as large as Erwin's - and it doesn't have all the extra activities or the apple varieties. But this was smaller, more local, more accessible, more friendly and just as fun. The people were great, the cider is amazing, the donuts where delicious, and the apples are perfect. Shsssush! Don't' let this secret out I love this place. We started picking apples here 21 years ago when my son was 2. We take the hay ride out to our favorite apple trees, pick a bushel and take a family photo. Head back to the entrance, buy some local honey in the store get some hot cinnamon donuts, eat too many of them drink some cider and head home. This place for us is priceless.
