No one overthought it or gentrified it or anything like that. They did the thing they do, and they did that thing well. My wife had a roast beef sandwich and it was the same story. Not sure why it was as good as it was, except that it was fresh and didn't have a bunch of extra toppings or "accoutrement" she didn't want. Even though this is clearly a very local establishment, they were friendly to us, and the bathroom was clean. We ended up buying some other supplies from the convenience store section, saving a stop. Plenty of parking on the side of the store and fairly easy to get back to the highway. Definitely worth a stop for provisions.

These aren't lame beers...these are a lot of microbrews as well as a significant amount of hard-to-find beers (read VERY hard to find in K-Falls). They had one of my favorite beers...Duchesse of Bourgogne (Belgian)...I couldn't believe it. They also have other awesome offerings such as nice cheeses (majority seemed to be from Rogue Creamery...solid). And they serve food...sandwiches, salads, breakfast items. And apparently it is excellent...I stopped by on my way to a buddy's house up the street and I asked him about this place and his words were "Yeah, it's awesome.
