So happy my son and I made a detour to Klamath Falls -- to stop at this bakery! Been wanting to come here for years and I finally made it! I should have taken pictures, but we ate everything too fast. Bought my husband a loaf of sourdough, but my son and I ate it before I got home. My son said his cinnamon roll was literally "the best cinnamon roll I have ever had" (and we live in the Napa Valley -- food is pretty freaking good here). My sour apple danish did not disappoint, either! Service was prompt and friendly, and I loved the decor of the place. Almost an extension of your own home. Came here based on yelp reviews. By the time we arrived on a Friday late morning the selection was pretty thin. We got a sticky bun, a danish, and a couple cookies. The cookies were pretty good, nice and chewy. The sticky bun had a really light color caramel/glaze on it that tasted like boiled sugar that hadn't quite caramelized for depth of flavor yet. After I purchased the food I noticed quite a few fruit flies crawling on the goods in the case. Not an infestation, but enough that I later decided against eating the purchased fruit danish since it had a "wet" fruit filling. read more

We stopped in for some treats as we headed north on 97. Everyone was super friendly! We purchased a Blueberry muffin, raspberry cream cheese danish, and a cinnamon roll. They all had good flavor but were a little dry. Their breads looked good and we would try one on our next visit. read more

Hooray for fabulous bakeries! I stopped in this bakery twice while I was in Klamath Falls, and although they have a lot of great baked goods to offer, it was all about the biscuits! The biscuits are amazing here. They are soft little pillows with a light golden brown crust. The crust around the each biscuits had a slight crispiness that gave the biscuits that subtle crunch before entering that soft and buttery inside. I loved these so much, a few days later I stopped in and purchased a half dozen for the road! If you love scones like me, they make quite the variety. They also make beautiful cinnamon rolls, bear claws, croissants, muffins, cookies, loaves of breads, and amazing baguettes. Oh yes, if you have a hankering for biscuits and gravy, them have that too and a nice place for you to relax and eat them up! One of the best bakeries in Klamath Falls. It's always clean and the staff is friendly. They have a great variety of items for purchase and good prices on day old baked goods. Their pecan sticky buns cannot be beat. The only thing I wish was a bit better was that they had more room to sit and eat on site. I'd also love it if they had an espresso machine. I started going here when they first opened and even though I haven't lived in Klamath Falls in the past 4 years, every time I am home I make a point to stop in for at least one of their delicious treats. I have lived in Seattle, WA and now live in Phoenix, AZ, and have yet to find anything that even comes close! The bear claw and scones are my all time favorites. The croutons are amazing! Very small selection but decided to give them a try. Very nice people working in there, didn't have any issues with service at all. I purchased a cheese danish, a muffin, a scone and loaf of sourdough bread... and that's where it went bad for me. The flavors of the baked goods were decent,..but so dry! Awesome bakery. The white raspberry white chocolate scone was moist with nice buttery flavor. The ham and cheese croissant was excellent. The croissant had the right amount of crispiness. I have been eating in the different parts of Oregon and this is one of the best bakeries in my trip. Get there early or all the good stuffs are gone. We had lunch here and bought their biscuits. I tried the veggie calzone that had mostly chopped bell peppers, black olives and mushrooms inside. The taste was okay by me but my companion said it needed more sauce. It was a small pocket of veggies. I also tried the pastrami and cheese sub that included fresh spinach leaves. It didn't have a lot of meat but tasted okay. The sandwiches are prepared in advance and wrapped for take-out though there is indoor and outdoor seating. We were eating at a place in downtown and they told us their bread came from from a local bakery called Green Blade. After we ate, we went to Green Blade for dessert (I love supporting local, small businesses when I travel). The bakery was clean inside and towards the back there is a nice little dining room to eat your delights. I got a piece of banana bread and my friend got some kind of crumb cake. Both desserts were insanely delicious. The crumb thing was beyond out of this world (see my photos). The prices were SO reasonable and the desserts were wonderfully fresh. The lady who served us was very nice and pleasant. When I find myself in Klamath Falls again, this will most certainly be my first stop. read more

Up until we moved away from town, I have heavily relied on the most wonderful baked breads, cookies, scones, danish, bread pudding, etc. I am missing them so much already, and it's only been a couple of weeks. I love this place! It's has the absolute best cheese danishes- they are so good! I could get a picture of them because they were sold out. Baked goods sell out fast here. They make everything from scratch - the turnovers taste so much better than the manufacturers treats you get at the grocery store. If you are a fan of bread pudding I love theirs- it's not the same as standard bread pudding. I find myself craving it. If you haven't been here- go. My kids wanted donuts, which is 2 doors down, so I swung by here to pick up my favorite type of pastry, a bear claw! Their Bear claw did not disappoint! It was delicious. Service was great. I also decided to puck up a few sandwiches to go, since we were going to be running around and we are not from this area. I am not a fan of pre-made sandwiches at all, but these were a hit! The bread was delicious. Condiments were separate, so it ensured our sandwiches didn't get soggy! Green Blade's multigrain sourdough is my son's favorite loaf. It makes yummy French Toast and croutons (although, Green Blade makes delish croutons too...my kids just like to make them at home). There are always lots of samples, and there's a day-old rack where discounts are available. Premade, ready-to-grab sandwiches are in the front case for a quick lunch. We only eat stuffing once a year, at Thanksgiving, and their bread cube mix is the BEST...an assortment of several different flavors makes for an amazing stuffing! Service is always with a smile, and everything is top-quality. I love that they use whole grains in some of their products. read more

Wonderful full-service bakery where you can watch the bakers do their thing. We enjoyed breakfast and grabbed a loaf of bread to go. I know my way around baked goods, and I was so happy to find this place near our hotel. Food: We ordered a lemon scone, a cinnamon roll, coffee cake, and one other thing that I can't remember. A couple of lattes and glasses of milk for the kids, and on our way out I opted for a loaf of rustic onion rye bread. Pastries were amazing (scone and coffee cake were our favorites) and when we had the bread a bit later in the day with our late afternoon snack, it did not disappoint. Considered buying some of the sammies out of the case for later, but didn't want to deprived of the chance to try something different on our road trip. The fact that I was tempted is evidence enough, I think. Service: Sweet ladies pouring you coffee and bringing you carbohydrate-laden delights. I dare you to say something mean about these angels. I double-dog dare you. Vibe: Kool-with-a-K in Klamath Falls. The dining room is quaint and comfy, and feels like you're in your favorite great aunt's parlor. We hung out for a bit and enjoyed our coffee and breakfast until our sugar-infused kids started to wreck the place. Family-friendly: Look no further if you have hangry kids and need to sweeten their attitude with a non-donut treat. Summary: Small bakeries like this are the saving grace of our country. OK, that's a bit dramatic, but it is a wonderful local place that I imagine locals are proud to support. One look at the bulletin board by the entrance tells you that.
