All of a sudden, the trainee slammed on the brakes coming to a sudden stop for no reason and everyone shifted forward. Unfortunately, I was thrown off the step into the fare box after knocking the glasses off the poor gentleman sitting in front of me. It didn't matter that I was holding the strap as well as holding onto my husband. The man in charge took the trainee off and went behind a vehicle to scold him. Upon returning, he jokingly said we had an emergency stop. Never asked if anyone was injured. Stupidly, I never spoke up because I was embarrassed by the event. I immediately called the company after getting off and gave all my information. I told them I had just had meniscus surgery. I was informed I'd hear back after the holidays. Not getting any call, I called them. They claimed no record of this. I then spoke to claims who, unfortunately, didn't tell me I should definitely get a claim in. I called several times speaking to so many departments and people. I was assured the video onboard never would be deleted, so timing was fine. Weeks went by. I called several more times. I finally put a claim in. Mardi Gras came. Another excuse to have to wait due to the holiday. Well low-and-behold, the video is gone! Likely story! How hard would it have been to figure out who the workers were on Christmas Eve (and shame on them for never reporting it)?! I'm now needing another surgery on my meniscus as well as rotator cuff. No apologies, no responsibility, no claim of fault...just a very convenient missing video. Race is mentioned only because I'd love the people in charge to do their job and identify them. No other reason.

We came for a 1-day tour to NOLA's French quarter. Being older, we wanted to be able to limit walking. Parking down in the French quarter is available if reserved before or if one arrives early. But it would have been a nightmare due to lots of street construction not to mention the price. We read to park for FREE around the city park & use the street car directly to French Quarter. What a treat! Easy parking at the park. Beautiful park with nearby facilities. Very nice RTA employees. All day Jazzy Pass for 2 (1 senior) = $4! People watching on the ride. Timely connections. Still walked a lot & seen much. Only regret we had no time left to check out the park & museum and so e other areas. Unique & safe experience.

It is also the shortest one at only 2 miles long and was apparently created just for the tourists. I was in New Orleans with my friends as tourists so it served us well! This line runs from west to east along the riverfront. At the west, it starts from downtown New Orleans where the Convention Center is. At the east, it ends at the French Market in the French Quarter. The stops along this line came in very handy during our visit.

I paid over $500 plus left our sweet driver $100 tip for what was supposed to be a memorable experience, but unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed when we boarded the bus and discovered for the first time that there was no air conditioning. In the middle of June, the temperature inside the bus was nearly 90 degrees, making the ride very uncomfortable for everyone on board. We sat down with our heads out the windows for a breeze at least 90% of 3 hour ride. Hardly was able to dance or move around because it simply was too hot. I've even attached photos of my arms with bruises down them from leaning out the window for such long periods of time. What was most frustrating was learning afterward that air conditioning required an additional charge. Had this been communicated to me during the booking process, I absolutely would have paid the extra cost. At no point was I informed that the bus would not have functioning air conditioning unless an additional fee was paid. Additionally the bus we received was not the bus that was exchanged in text when I asked what the bus looked like. Once explaining that we would pay for AC our driver informed us that would have need to be handled prior and to "just open the windows up" Even more disappointing is how management responded when he asked me to leave a review and I chose to respectfully address it with him first, all that matters to him is that he got his money at the end of the day and was able to scam me out of a bus with no AC!

They are wonderful people who have cared for their property for 25 years, which eludes with authenticity, originality, and their passion for what they do. They made every effort to ensure our stay was perfect. With COVID restrictions they were unable to provide a cooked breakfast, but every other BnB's we looked into do not have breakfast at all. Rose Manor provided's breakfast, in abidance to COVID restrictions. Pastries, hard-boiled eggs, cereal, english muffins, jams/butter/honey, muffins, yogurt, fruit, and I couldn't get enough of the french coffee and a bunch of different teas to choose from for those tea-drinkers. You can sit at the dining room table and be lucky enough to have a good laugh with Peter, or sit outside, where you can wind-down at night under the bistro lights. Loved this! The rooms were cozy, clean and SO comfortable. They have a refrigerator and freezer which we loved because of all the local delicious food we couldn't leave behind. The walls are full of interesting art and pieces of history. There's couches to sit in the back room if you want to separate from your room for a bit. It's located in a safe town, Lakeview. It's a low crime area that apparently has their own police officers patrolling the area. We walked to the Marina from here, passing a few delicious looking restaurants we didn't have time to try, and never felt unsafe. It is of course not downtown, but that's what we prefer because parking in NOLA is outrageous, and its a 10-15 minute quick drive to downtown if you want to take your own car, or ~$15 Uber. They are the reason we prefer BnB's rather than wasting our time and money at big hotels. They're happy to give you information you couldn't get from staying elsewhere, like unique ways of getting around the city (at the corner of their block you can get a bus to take you to the end of canal st.), their stories living in NOLA, they are great company, and lovely people who are passionate about what they do. There is an open paid parking lot right next door. I paid $20 for full day parking. Since I purchased my tickets online, there was nothing I needed to do. There is plenty of seating available. Once it was time to board, the attendant told us how to line up. The seats were roomy and comfortable. After we got seated, the train attendant came by to check our tickets. The ride was nice and smooth. I chose coach seating and really didn't see a big difference with business class. They were just able to board first and had better access to the on board cafe. We visited the cafe to purchase coffee, juice, and muffins. We were also able to bring our own snacks. Once in Mobile we had just over 4 hours to site see. The only negative was the Depot in Mobile was outside. We had to wait in the cold before we were allowed to board around 4:10pm. I wish they had an indoor bldg or would've allowed us to board earlier since it was cold.
