Typical grocery store, they got everything you need. Good parking, organized as well. Friendly people

I shop here regularly. Conveniently located with more than ample parking. The store has recently undergone a complete reset. With wider isles, new advanced check out terminals and self check out options. A pharmacy, on site bakery and an order and delivery service. Many new products and sale items to take advantage of. Those who have submitted the now outdated reviews and comments here, should do themselves a favor and revisit this store. It is a genuine benefit to our continuously expanding community. read more

Meat quality is poor. I have been inconvenienced buying meat from this store. I have had go to ShopRite and get meat for dinner when I just bought it. Watch your ground beef and frozen bubba burgers. Bubba burgers looked stale and grayish and smelled, as if the meat was defrost and frozen again. They guy at the customer service didn't bother to ask why I was returning it.( he must have smelled it, and he know the meat quality there is poor) Stop and Shop stop inconveniencing people. Must do better. This store has the nerve to not have customer service open until 9am til 7pm... Very disappointing. Almost like OSHA need to come in and check on the meat department. read more

I find it good, I usually find everything I need in the store. Some products I use they don't carry, or are out of them. The only problem I find is they don't carry many reduced fat items such as Brown Gravy in the jar, or Halo Top ice cream pistachio flavor has been out of stock for while. They should carry more reduced fat products. I usually have to order elsewhere. read more

I'd only been to this location once. The everyday items were comparable to what I would purchase at any grocery store, but they were more expensive. The quality of their steaks were better than my normal grocery store's (quality-wise). read more

I only go into this store ,only if i really need something.And half the times they never have anything on the shelf anyway.The employees there are so rude.Never get a polite answer.including at the front desk.Bathrooms are filthy.The men employees dress so slovenly, pants hanging down to there butts.i will never shop here again.place is filthy including the shelves!!! read more

Didn't seem to be limiting the number of people in the store due to the virus. Store without lines on the floor to keep a distance at the check out lines. At the time the disinfectant wipes at the door were almost empty. Empty frozen foods section. Store shelves low on food. I wont even talk about the higher prices. Crowded and unorganized in my opinion. Rather driver further to go to another store. read more

I usually do most of my shopping here except for meat. I get my meat the butcher or Costco. The prices are pretty steep here. The deli people are nice but it usually takes a good 20 minute wait for your turn. I do like that they carry the Boars Head brand. read more

I have been going there for 8 years since moving into the area and find the staff wonderful. They have always gone out of their way to be helpful and courteous to me. Every once in awhile you get someone new who has the wrong attitude but they don't last long. I'm very grateful to the store, staff and the convenience of the store! read more

I have tried to shop here on multiple occasions. To be fair, the produce department is well stocked and fresh. That gets you a single star. EVERYTHING else here is a horror show. Checking out can take so long half of your items will have passed their sell by date. Tonight I tried to order cold cuts at the deli counter. The two women working there were more interested in complaining to each other about how busy it was than they were in actually helping customers. After listening to them for 10 minutes I left. I picked up some gift cards and headed to the checkout. The woman ringing them up needed some kind of manger's approval. The manager came over and began to complain that she had her own stuff to do. GREAT customer service (insert sarcasm font here). I'm done with this place. read more

Worst store in town! Produce tends to be old and you have to check to make sure its not rotten on the bottom of any prepacked. The cashiers obviously HATE people, hate working! The nastiest, snotty bunch ever! I won't go there, why bother when we have a wonderful Trader Joes? read more

Was in there to get stuff for chili came home and looking at online banking and seen they took out a double paymeant one on ATM and one on a credit does the cashier understand that I had said credit. I'm done with this store. read more

GREAT BAKERY, FRIENDLY, CLEAN & WONDERFUL PRODUCTS! This store strives to help customers when necessary. It is short on checkout help sometimes, but that happens in other stores too. This store tries to have fresh produce, good deals & a clean environment. I rather shop here than the Shoprite in Brick which is messy, no place to park, and always over crowded with rude people always in a hurry. read more

I can't stand this grocery store and drive far out of my way to go to Shoprite. Why do they have "fresh produce" outside posted on their building when they absolutely do not have fresh produce. Their prices are outrageous, the deli takes forever and there are always guys in suits standing around talking but never doing anything or helping the workers in the store. read more

Now I've had enough.... on multiple occasions I've gotten store brand cold cuts when I ordered Boars Head. MULTIPLE times! Never complained. Twice I've gotten freezer burnt Ben and Jerry's ice cream. Never complained. Today I bought a rack of lamb. Prepped dinner and opened the package of lamb and an over powering smell of disgusting funk came from the meat. I returned it all I got was a store credit for $23.50 for the rack. Not even an apology even after I complained about everything including their prices. I went back to the meat department to get a steak instead and all of their filets were brown! Gross gross gross! I'll take my $500 a week good shopping for my family to the shop rite up the street! read more

Paid $14 for a ribeye. Seasoned it to perfection I know how to make a steak. It sucked. Absolutely no flavor rubbery texture. Never again. Went again on a Friday after receiving their sale circular. Nothing ready at 8am. Meat and seafood showcases empty. Walked out empty handed. This place needs a serious overhaul. read more

The worst grocery store. I dont like stop & shop in general but this one in particular is the pits. I cant tell you how many times I've found expired items on the shelf, mold on bread and bakery items, past prime produce, limited meat selection etc. To be fair I alerted management when issues of freshness were concerned and they quickly removed the offending items but why is this the customers job? Who's watching the store here, and I mean that literally. Sadly, Ocean county is devoid of choices. When time permits I will travel to the Wegmans in Ocean Twp (Monmouth Cty) to do my shopping. This store is really pretty bad. stopped in about 8:30 at night to purchase just a few things on my way home. even though the store was fairly crowded only one cashier was open. The ice cream cake I picked up was melted in the bag by the time I got home even though I only live minutes away. The parking lot was loaded with carts all over the place. This may not be a "super" store but the store goes out of it's way and gives you something that is rare in Customer Service. It also stocks organic foods and the store and bathroom is always clean and disinfectant wipes are at the doors (for my cart). The #1 department is one of the most important departments to me and that is the produce. The mgr. of that department makes shopping in the store a rare pleasure. He goes out of his way to help and keeps the department stocked with the freshest produce! Honorable mention to the Deli Dept. and the Seafood Dept. I have not been to the "super" store but I am very happy that Stop and Shop, Brick Blvd. is close by. read more
