What I lost was more personal value then money. Wedding stuff, pictures, shoes. The sad thing when I got my stuff out of there the same day. I lost a lot because of mold. If they would have called I could have saved my stuff. But as I was driving out you could see dirt and water stains on other units and know. They did not call any of those people and how long will it be until they found there stuff. Just plain money hungery.

At the time, the guy in the office told me the rate they gave me would not change greater than CPI or cost of living. I was quoted $123/month. What they insist on adding is taxes plus mandatory storage insurance bringing that to $148.40. Then come September, they jack the rates to $200. Now, March 2026 they have jacked the rates again to $251.22. This represents a greater-than-100% increase. I've been in an out of storage for much of my adult life as I travel. This is the most greedy, deceptive, bad faith business I have encountered. Take my advice--take your business elsewhere.

Break in my storage unit. No cameras no security…read more Sad to say the storage unit I rented on 6/122, was broken into on 6/7/22 6 days later. It was less than 24 hours since my last visit. Yes, the unit was locked. The individual/s removed my lock and secured the unit with another lock. I believe this was to distract attention. My feeling is this facility is not secure. Prime Storage had a problem with the gate closing (was told this was repaired) and there are no security cameras to capture the individual/s breaking in. Unfortunately, items were stolen and/or damaged in the process. I spoke to customer service at the Corp Headquarters and requested to speak to the senior leader of operations or the senior leader of asset protection or the regional operations leader and at this point, there has been no response. Police report in process FYI...I don't post negative reviews. This is the very first and hopefully last.

Steve was attentive and responsive to all of my calls and e-mails leading up to the move, almost immediately. I felt like an important customer! He was courteous and accommodating, explaining everything I needed to know for our giant move. We had thought at first that we would just hire Marathon to load our things onto an ABF trailer, but after meeting Steve and realizing we could trust him, we gave him the whole task! Moving day was tough. We had three floors of furniture and boxes AND a basement. Skinny stairs to maneuver. Tight corners. The guys worked hard and got 'er loaded. Steve kept me updated while they drove south with our belongings. Move-in day we were handed a monsoon rain storm to work in! The guys stayed cheerful and positive the whole time. This is the important thing to me: kind men who I feel I can trust, keeping a great attitude while working hard. And all of our things arrived safely. I'm so very grateful to Steve and the guys.
