I also thought the service was a good value for the level of work they provided. What I especially appreciated was that they worked with me to find a solution when my plans changed. At one point, I was considering storing my belongings at their warehouse for less than a week. Rather than simply taking the additional business, they told me it did not make sense to move everything from the original location into warehouse storage for such a short period because it would unnecessarily increase my costs. That advice was one of the reasons I ultimately decided to use PODS instead. My moving needs did change at the last minute, which made the overall move more expensive than I had originally planned, but that was because of the changing logistics, not because they were trying to increase the price. I really appreciated that they were focused on helping me find the most practical and cost-effective solution. I would absolutely recommend them.

When I called Karen was awesome and I was so excited for the service. Silly me. I have moved 10 times before this in as many years. This is BY FAR the worst experience I have had. I KNOW how long it takes to move my place. Not only did this take more than TWICE as long with allegedly a whole other person, they brought a fourth unauthorized guy. And still took more than half the time. One guy sat in the truck most of the time, I have pictures, the others didn't start on my kitchen until the end, had to wait for that....later to find out when I went back to the old apartment they hadn't even finished the whole kitchen ...ran over my allotted time at the building I was moving out of, at my cost. And then they ruined my couch. So I paid DOUBLE what I was expecting, which was already more than what was quoted cause I was adding a little buffer, but ended up tipping a whole additional person because I'm not a jerk. The guys were nice but inefficient. Kept saying this is what you get with a higher quality mover, but it was not even a better experience. They were wasteful with the amount of packing supplies they used, never presented or communicated the prices of the materials they were using, which I was told was included anyway but also others I never approved or asked for. Just popped it on me in the end. Oh and then they say "we are going to adjust your time by 15 min you'll see a refund on your card" and two and a half weeks later still waiting for it to even show pending at least. But you better believe the charge was instant. I was debating sharing my feedback but was so mad I finally emailed the company. But no one had even dignified me with not even an automated response, just silence. So I come here to do something I pretty much never do. But that's how annoyed I am. Sorry but would rather recommend. Cheap Movers, way better. I used last move were a thousand times better and a QUARTER of the price. I'm not even cheap but I hate being taken for a fool, and it turned out to be just that. That's what I get what I get for using hourly movers for the first time, never again. A slow work scam, exactly what I was worried about, but like an idiot I bought into the reassurances Karen gave me but they truly let her down. I hope she knows they're having her selling lies.

Edwin was awesome at showing care for all the boxes that he loaded while Cory carefully but expertly wrapped all the furniture. They were done before 10:30. They then drove interstate to unload on 9/26. They arrived around 12:15pm and again were awesome. Cory made sure to unload furniture and boxes in the specific rooms were my stuff needed to be without even asking. They were both friendly, completely professional and great, great workers! I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs a hassle free move. Cory is amazing at what he does!!

Just not trustworthy or great. Some of their staff were good, but there were only two really young…read morepeople, one grandmother and his wife, about 50, who was on the phone alot. So not enough help. Most of his guys were at another big move? DeLaughters way overcharged and didn't care about how they packed most boxes. The owner John complained a lot, after most of truck packed made drama then his wife/biz partner took me into the house crying. She said to give them $2000 more than the $5700 already paying for moving 1800 square feet 5 hours and 15 min. away or they would unpack the truck and leave. Unethical people I say. Their workers said upon delivery the medium moving truck was only 2/3 full and should not have cost so much. Now in getting settled I find they didn't pack well at all. For example glasses, lamps were broken, my corner Cabinet chipped because it wasn't protected or wrapped on top. Also the tv remotes, ports were not put in the big box w the TV and most boxes not marked well. I had great pre-printed packing stickers, but they weren't used. I cleared out and packed my basement storage areas, called a junk remover (they were supposed to do that as part of contract). So I would NOT RECOMMEND this company to move anything. You will likely get your price changed and ripped off. Not to mention your possessions not packed carefully or boxes marked accurately.
