If I could put zero stars I would. This company WILL raise your rent $50 every 6 months or so. I went from paying $150 for a 10x20 unit and have been with them for around 3 years and just got an email they they're yet again raising my rent to $315! How is this possible when online my unit is advertised as $150 still. They don't respect their loyal customers and are greedy. DO NOT RENT A UNIT FROM THIS COMPANY! read more

Just completed renting a 2nd unit with Storage King. I did the rental online, and Lana called shortly after to confirm the booking and welcome me. I mentioned that I was renting the unit to store things before a move. She thought to ask how big a truck I'd be using to retrieve what I stored. She realized that the unit I'd rented might be difficult to maneuver a truck in, so changed the unit. Good catch!!! She had to redo my booking, ensure I received the same discount, and also merged my 2nd unit into the same account as the unit I rented a year ago. She also thought to offer me a lock for the 2nd unit, and to make sure I understood that the initial discount rate I'd gotten would be raised after 4 months. She did all this cheerfully, expertly and quickly - done within a couple of hours of the inital booking. And when I sent a note with a follow-up question the next day, she answered my email with minutes. I couldn't be happier! I should add that I've also been very happy with the initial unit I rented. Access is SO easy: lots of room to pull up to curb, push carts for moving things are always available, and the units are clean and as-advertised. read more

In response to you Vanessa.. we did call, numerous times and every single call someone answered and immediately hung up!! We left numerous messages with one (1) return message.... "Your facility is not liable for anything, read our contract"!! We will never give your facility another chance and I just hope and pray that my review reaches people to be aware!! Your facility left the gate open resulting in our rv theft on a Sunday (which is the day they are closed, meaning no employees)!! We drove by the facility yesterday (Saturday- 6/3/23) and the gate was once again wide open!! Please people, be aware of this!! This was the worst experience of our lives and I hope that my review reaches out so this does not happen to anyone else!! read more

I have used this place for storage of personal items as well as RV storage for almost a year. I pay extra for power to my Rv. I was notified by my RV that the power was lost and I attempted to contact the facility to have my electrical breaker to be reset ( as I have in the past.) I have left 6 voicemails, emails and attempted calls with zero response. Answering service said they can't get ahold of any responsible parties. I drove 1.5 hrs, but office was dark, even tho' the paper on the window says office is open. This place is horrible! read more

This will be a little bit of an odd review. If I were reviewing Storage King the corporation I would have given the review two or three stars, but this is about Storage King in Spring Hill. I have had multiple storage units here for many years, reaching far beyond the time when it was sold to Storage King. The negative: The corporation Storage King is, well, a typical greedy corporation. they painted all the buildings, put in a security gate (previously an actual human being closed the gate daily) which promptly stopped working so it had to be open 24/7, and upped the rent - twice in 14 months, citing "improvements". Yeah, my stuff is so much more secure with fresh paint. Will stop any burglar! However, this is about _this_ Storage King. How can I review a place and ignore the friendly people behind the desk? The fact that I get a real wave from the manager when we happen to pass on entry? The real concern with anything amiss? Can I say I am really happy with Storage King the company? No. Can I say that I wish that the people who work here for Storage King actually owned the place? Absolutely! My advise? Shop around, consider price and convenience. Make your decision. But if you are looking for a friendly face, nice people, and a genuine concern for you as a customer, you can't go wrong here. read more

I just moved my things from a different facility to Storage King in Spring Hill. I am very pleased with the facility as well as the price. The facility is new, clean, and well lit. The agents were very friendly and easy to work with. The only negative is the number of carts available to move your stuff. I found 2 small carts and 1 large cart - and the facility is really large so it involved a lot of walking to find them. With a building this large, they should have multiple carts available at each entrance. But all in all I am happy with my choice! read more
