Bill was so apologetic about something totally out of his control. The unit was broken into and ransacked. All of this is sketchy. They have cameras, a coded is required to get in the facility.....but when the kids talked to them, they got no where. StorageMart wouldn't give them video footage and told them to go make a police report which they did. They went back to SM and again asked asked for a copy of the video or pictures. They were provided with 2 pics of their open unit showing their posessions tossed out in the walkway. It doesn't make sense.....they would have time stamps for anyone that entered that night and cameras showing at least the vehicle. But when asked for the information......they are unable to help? Very sketchy and suspect.

The prices do increase with increasing size, but of course the bigger the unit the "better" the deal. All of the units are outdoors and accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There is a security system in place complete with fencing and cameras. Entrance is via a pass code gate through the parking lot in front. Please note: these units are NOT climate controlled! The office in front is open Monday through Saturday and never open Sundays or holidays. The staff inside are cordial and usually pretty understanding of customers' needs. They do have the best prices of all storage facilities in Platte City, though remember that the other one in town is indeed climate controlled. Don't forget about the Budget truck rental this company also offers! They are a franchise of Budget. They have 3 different size trucks available for rental. Try to bargain down the initial price...
