I asked around, did some Internet searches, read some reviews and O'Connors Moving's name kept popping up. Heck, my storage unit even put in a good word for them. I called and scheduled a time to move what amounted to a one bedroom apartment's worth of items. O'Connors said three guys could do the job. Then they quoted me a price for three hours with an additional cost if the move took longer. I took their advice and away we went. The day of the move, the guys called and gave me about 15-20 minutes notice and then met me at my storage unit. After we loaded up, we went to my old place and got the rest of my things. Then we all drove to my new place and unloaded. The total time for the move was just over three hours for a fee of around $415*. I added a tip. I admit, I could have moved by myself for less money. At the same time I would have had to ask for volunteers, some of whom would probably flake, and it probably would have taken longer. ThenI would have had to find some way to compensate said volunteers. In this case, O'Connors made it easy, they did the heavy lifting and I was at work after only having to take the morning off. Trustworthy, professional and easy to work with. I'll probably move again one of these days. When I do, I'll call O'Connors for a quote. *Note: Not a huge thing, but O'Connors charged a small fee to drive to and from my move. I'm not sure if everybody does this and I honestly don't remember if it was mentioned when I made my quote, but I wanted to bring it up. It won't preclude me from using O'Connors again, because they were fantastic, but I thought a possible end user who is shopping around might want to know.

John O'Conner came highly recommended by a friend. His company is not the first moving company I've hired (for the record, the only thing I remember about the first was that they used the leg to my girlfriend's massage table as a wheel chock). I had a lot of angst about moving - there's nothing really fun about it. I took several evenings to pack and then two full days of vacation to finish. I spent a fortune on boxes and packing material - not to mention all the new stuff you have to buy for a new place. The only two good things about this experience is that I have a house I'm starting to feel at home in, and I met John O'Conner. A pretty bright guy once shared with me his theory for hiring great people by simply saying he appreciates a list of accomplishments but what he looks for is someone he'd let watch his kids. John is that guy. I'm sure I'll never move myself again, and I'm sure I'll never hire anyone else besides John and his company to do it.

I reached out, and Zack and Ryan were very quick to give a quote (super reasonable) and they were flexible with their availability with my strange schedule limitations! Overall, I will be looking to book this company again if I need to move again! First off, I was able to schedule over a week in advance easily with these guys. I had some scheduling conflicts for the Friday afternoon they could work me into their schedule, and after telling them this, they said they could do the move at 9 am that day if it worked for my schedule (which it did!). They also ended up getting to my house 15 minutes EARLY which was so helpful and better for them with the weather (it was 100 degrees forecasted for later in the day!). Even with the weather, these guys were super patient and so friendly. They really exceeded my expectations because I've heard some horror stories about movers--not these guys, they are AMAZING. They moved all my things from a first floor apartment to a third floor apartment (with no elevator--I'm so sorry!) with no issues. Everything was in the same shape as when the stuff left my other apartment. We ran into one snaffu (not any fault of theirs but mine!) when my couch couldn't fit up the stairway--they helped me move the couch back to my old apartment so that I could figure out what to do with it! Really couldn't have asked for a better group of people to work with. Thanks so much, Zack and Ryan--I cannot state again how amazing this experience was!

Price - they quoted $150-200 for the job and finished in 45 min, for only $150. No travel fee, no 2 hour minimum - just great service at a great price. 2. Prompt - they showed up right on time. What more can you ask for? 3. Courteous and kind - not only did these gents take great care in moving our furniture, using their own blankets and straps when needed, but they were also super patient and cool while we decided where we wanted everything to end up. 10/10 will call on AJC again for my KC moving needs!

They arrived right on schedule, walked me through the process, and handled everything with a calm, confident energy that immediately put me at ease. Whether it was delicate glassware, heavy furniture, or sentimental pieces I could tell they treated my belongings with true respect and care. What really stood out was how attentive and thoughtful they were not just with my items, but with me as a customer. They checked in regularly, made sure I was comfortable with how things were packed, and didn't rush through anything. It seemed that they cared just as much about the experience as they did about the move itself. If you're looking for movers who are not only super careful and efficient but also genuinely kind people, Pantheon Moving is the one to call. Truly five-star service from a team that goes above and beyond!

That did not appear to be the case. Everything that needed to be taken apart they just looked for a work around to fit it out of my apartment and into the truck. The only exception was my bed which was something they had zero choice but to disassemble. They're lucky the bed didn't require tools to take apart as it basically all fits together like legos. The part that dissatisfied me the most is they did not reassemble my bed when they moved it in. At least not fully. They put some of the frame together but it didn't matter much as the pieces werent put in the correct order so I had to take the whole thing apart and start over anyways. They also damaged one of my lamps and there was a big tear in it since it's one of those latern style lamps and the paper is fragile. I taped it on the inside just so it doesn't look as bad. I have two of these lamps and for some reason one of them they transported whole and the other one they flattened it and took it apart. Lastly, I contacted them about some sort of compensation and doing something about replacing my lamps and the lack of reassembling my bed. This was weeks ago and I've yet to hear back. I don't recommend this service and will probably never go with them again.

I was supposed to go to the storage unit and everything. They then said we had to do the storage another day, and they had to leave. So they were the movers, and still, my mom and I had to take at least nine to ten trips back and forth because they could and would not take anything else. They were supposed to call me the day after or that evening. I am still waiting for a call; I just texted two days later to inform me that they would be there today. It isn't right to charge those prices, yet you almost do it yourself. I mean, Come on. No, I get to have all the issues when I pay someone to do it all for me, but it does not even get done. We have to end up doing it ourselves with my mother's bad back and knee. When they first got her, I was informed by a few people that they hit and took down the Google fiber line. They did not state the truth. I was overcharged for one and could not get all my stuff in the first place. I still had to do it myself with my mother. I was given a 4-hour time slot to find out it got cut in half. They did not even come to my second location for the storage unit. I will never see any of my money back. I should receive some money back since we had to do over half of the work. Save your money and go with someone else. . DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
