After a long day, we left and forgot to put our lock on the unit. Kevin came by and saw our unit was not secured and put a management combination lock on and sent us the code via email. If you want to do business with a crook continue with Kevin Hodge owner of Roan Street Storage. For 3 years I did business with him. As I was moving my belongings from the unit I was very tired and walked across the street to the bathroom. I had told him I was moving across country, I forgot to put my lock on my unit. He put his lock on my unit and left the building and would not answer the phone that night.!!! I called and called the next morning, again no answer! He knew we were leaving and had a long trip ahead of us. I'm a single parent he full on took advantage of me, I was not behind on my unit! After 4 months of paying for our things being held hostage, I asked my father to go get them. He and a friend drove to J.C. and demanded that Kevin open the storage unit and let him get our things. Kevin refused!!! My father told him "he would call the sheriff and he was sure that he would leave with my household goods after telling him what Kevin had done." Kevin came and opened the unit!
