I thought that was really convenient considering the pandemic surely offering this service was meant to help insure everyone's safety. Unfortunately, that was not to the case. When I arrived to pickup the keys I first noticed the light in the unit did not work. That wasn't a big deal. But the visible amount of mold all over the ceiling in unit was a huge deal breaker for me. I went to the office and asked if the unit leaked. He said he thought that unit had been fixed. I asked why there was so much mold then. He said they just haven't clean it yet. Then why is the unit considered ready and available to rent? He said he wasn't sure. I asked if there was another unit available. He said no. Then suggested I purchase a container of damp-rid from the merchandise area in the office. I asked if I could transfer to another location but I was told that is not possible. It was mold spores or nothing. I was scammed out of $250. Im not sure if this type of service is common practice for all locations of this company but I will never store my belongings at any public storage location again. And I will never recommend this company. At the very least I suggest you visit the location in person and never use their e-rental service. Very expensive lesson learned on my part hopefully I can save someone else from making my mistake.
