We were looking for baseboards that were classic (Victorian) to match the other molding and casing in our home. We also wanted something that would be taller than 4" inches, to give the new flooring the pizzazz it needed. During my visit to Builders Outlet, I was able to get an idea of the different baseboard profiles that they could ordered for me. The salesman was also very helpful and patient and the price was very competitive. Best of all, the order that I placed came in within 4 days, which kept our project on target. I show up to get them and they had 20' pieces instead. Said that's all they had and they could order again if needed. I said that's why I waited a few days is because I was told this was being ordered from the vendor for those specific lengths. Asked for a manager. Nicely enough he only charged me for 16' lengths but I still ended up paying nearly $40 more for the additional lengths. I left a message for Allison who was the salesperson that told me she could get the 16' and 12' lengths from the vendor. Let her know I was frustrated that she would not contact me to let me know this before making the trip out there to find otherwise. She left me a message stating she ordered what she thought would be best for me! I mean really? How do you know what is best for my situation? Never apologized to me, just told me I had a negative attitude about it. Well yes, this is second time I show up at this business to find out they don't tell the correct information to begin with and then have the attitude that well if you don't like it you can go somewhere else or pay the additional fees for what they have or got instead. Done for good. This place is become pretty bad and bad attitudes there. Lesson learned.

However the best part of RDW is there customer service, Holly knows her stuff! Holly will do what it takes to make your project successful! I am in love with their mantles and their hardwood floors! B&G were very flexible in scheduling both the measuring appointment and the installation appointment, which I especially appreciated with my busy schedule. There was one point in the fabrication process where Mel called me to inform me that my countertops were actually going to require the use of two slabs of stone, which was different from the original quote. She worked with me to make adjustments to the size of my kitchen island so that we were able to keep our materials and costs at just one slab - which made a huge difference! In the end, we think the island turned out even better with the slightly smaller dimensions. The countertops were installed flawlessly, and they even managed to keep our longest countertop to one piece with no seam! We have an older home with some definite challenges, and they navigated those challenges extremely well. We are beyond thrilled with our new countertops and would highly recommend Bath and Granite!

This is at least the third time Don has helped us in a pinch over the last decade. Our grass was…read moredying from the heat a couple of weeks ago, but running the sprinkler made the whole house shake. I was sure it was my sprinkler valve, but had an issue changing the valve: The pipes were too tight! I texted Don and got my hacksaw, but luckily he texted right back. He was able to squeeze in a quick visit before the weekend, and found that the water regulator for the entire house was making the pipes shake. My sprinkler valve was just fine. That regulator had given out after 30 years. With that replaced, all problems were solved. He even arranged for a quick stop in on SUNDAY MORNING to make sure we were set. I've happily referred a couple of my neighbors to Don. He's a true master of plumbing, and I wouldn't call anyone else.
