I took my car to the Hurricane Express carwash on East Brainerd Road on May 22, 2023, for a carwash. After coming out of the wash I noticed that my brand new car's back windshield wiper was broken during the wash. And not only was the entire wiper blade broken off but the casing too. I immediately reported this to the employees. They reviewed the camera footage and stated that the damage did occur during the wash and that they would file an incident report immediately. I truly thought hurricane express would take accountability and reach out to fix the damage caused by their car wash. After a month of not hearing back from them, I visited the east brainerd location again to ask and was told the same thing. After a week, I reached out to them through their website, and on June 23, 2023 I received an email that a damage claim status update was reported to management and that they would call. This email was the last and ONLY communication I received from this company. I have tried emailing them and reaching out through their website several times but still no response. It has been over a month and a half, and my brand-new car is still damaged. At the very least someone could have reached out to me within these past 45 days to resolve this issue, but nothing. read more

First visit to this new wash on East Brainard rd. Interesting that this place opened right after the big new Choo Choo car wash and right across the street. I haven't tried it yet so I can't compare business but will update once I do. This is very nice with very friendly staff. They use a belt drive that carries you through rather than rails and rollers like all the other washes. The prices start at $7 for a basic soap and rinse and go up $12,$15 and...not sure because I chose the $15 wax. This includes a polish after the wax is applied AND a soft cloth buffer after going through the dryer which I haven't seen anywhere else. My wheels didn't get as clean as I like but the rest of the Truck was very nicely done. They have very powerful vacuums, air for your tires and washer fluid as well as offering towels to dry, window cleaner and air freshener. They definitely raise the bar for anything else in the area and much better value for your $$ than the wash place up in Ooltewah off Little Debbie and worth the drive down from there by far. read more

The facility has gone downhill since changing hands. No plastic cover on rear windshield wiper, car doesn't seem as dry after exiting and the most important thing - the new owners are billing every 28 days for those of us who have a monthly subscription. Do the math and that equals 13 payments per year. Such deceptive business practice. I am done with these folks and have talked to several of my neighbors who have already dumped them. I've only been once, but the service I had was great! They had a conveyor belt to take my car, so it wasn't hard to drive up and put my car in neutral. The vacuums were also wonderful, and I spent a long time cleaning my car. Would definitely come again! read more

Hands down the best car wash I have ever been to! I'm 59 so that says a lot! We're over 600 miles into a road trip with 100's of bugs on the front of our car, windshield is covered also. So we stop in here and it cleaned 99% of the bugs off of our car! Then we decided to vacuum the car, and the vacuums are free!!!! Also towels to dry off the car and window cleaner, car fresheners, dash wipes all included! This car wash will eventually be the #1 car wash in the US! And I'm not kidding! read more

Best car wash in the East Brainerd/Gunbarrel area. Does a great job on all my vehicles. All the workers work really hard and even come around will you are cleaning the interior to make sure your happy. They will also (at times) come around and double coat your tires with tire dressing. The price is great as well. read more

OK, this place is just awesome. Reasonable price, and much nicer than any of the car washes near home, particularly the elaborate self-serve vacuum bays. Next time I'm passing through Chattanooga, I certainly hope to avoid a repeat of the kids leaving food crumbs all over the car and attracting ants... but if I don't at least I know where to go! p.s. If your wife can't tell the difference between a hose for compressed air and a hose for filling wiper fluid, keep a careful eye on her! That was almost a disaster. read more

First thing I noticed,as never seen at any other car wash,the conveyer belt that led the car in without touching the wheels. I have had many wheels and tires ruined with the other methods. That alone would have made this the number one car wash,but there's so much more!!! I'm not sure if other car washes do this,but they put covers on everyone's back windshield wipers before entering the wash, along with handing us a new packaged steamed washcloth to clean the dash and interior. Actual car wash did a great job, got the car clean without leaving any suds or residue behind. Now to the carpet cleaning......first I've ever seen also, has the wet or dry cleaning option! Understand what I'm saying? Not just the option to vacuum and beat the dirt off of your car mats but also to shampoo them!!! And if that isn't enough, then look up next to the free vacuum..... They have free Windshield wiper fluid! You have the option to top off your fluids! I didn't need any but I was curious as to whether or not it actually worked or if it was a gimmick for more business, never know these days. They do work! Windshield wiper fluid whizzed right out of it! Sooooo many extras without the added cost! Same price as other car washes! Yes they also have free towels and washcloths and fragrance to use and return, which is what I used to think was what made a car wash stick out and made it a better bang for your buck. Not anymore! We were all amazed at all the high tech added perks at this car wash! Never seen at any carwash in this area before! My husband was a firm believer on hand washing his own vehicles because he believed an automatic car wash just couldn't do as good of a job and costs too much for the little it does do. He was so surprised at how great of an experience he had at this car wash he wanted to get a membership. I told him we need to check out the other car wash across the street first. The Choo Choo carwash ended up being a one star carwash like the other old car washes.we used to go to on Brainerd. Itll get the job done, just doesn't have anything to make you want to come back. Today I am going to sneak and buy my husband the membership to the storm carwash for his father's day gift. I can afford to buy him anything, but this is by far the best gift I could get him. Tried out this newer car wash. I thought that the over all car cleaning wasn't as good as some other places. However the tire cleaning section at the end made my tires and rims look new. I did the 12 dollar service. read more

They went above and beyond. I went to get my grandfather's car washed as he's in failing health and it was crusty dirty. Two guys and eventually someone who looked like the manager attacked the mess with brushes and scrubbed it thoroughly before I went through the automatic wash. Excellent service! read more

This place is AMAZING! I am a car fanatic and this place blew me away. I got the $15 wash and wax with the extra turtle wax, but even the $7 wash is worth the money for all the extras you get. The $15 was got us access to a free wheel touch up (which we needed since the rims are hard to clean with any auto-wash station). There's not one, but TWO types of vacuum hoses at each station, with excellent suction. Free windshield washer fluid, free dashboard wipes, free microfiber towel use, free floor mat washing machines, free bug remover (that actually works), and free air freshener spray. The wife and I haven't washed the car in months and we thoroughly enjoyed cleaning every inch of the vehicle. The only thing we didn't use was the free compressed air. I look forward to visiting family again and coming back here. read more

Clean! The drying cycle even has a giant microfiber rolling brush that comes down and dries your vehicle along with the air dryer! It was the coolest thing ever!!! Once at the bat where you vacuum your vehicle, they have free detail towels to use along with washer fluid, air, and something else I can't remember. I have loved the Express Wash concept since I worked in it years ago. This site does not disappoint. The conveyor system is excellent if you are concerned about damaging wheels. 'Banned' vehicles like the Ford Raptor and Corvette Z06 models could easily use this system. Location also has mat cleaner and shampoo machines, free windshield fluid, chamois towels for drying as well as free cleaning chemicals for the inside of your car. All my interactions with employees have been excellent. I have since purchased a monthly membership and am there almost daily. Night and day difference from the Choo Choo Express location across the street, that facility is not worth the time. read more

By the way thebwimdshield was not chipped before ingot my car washed. I did refuse to look at the cameras because unknown it was not cracked. So I guess your careash only made the 50 somethimg mini chios and not the big one. Also, I never daid my car was Brand new. I told that guy I had just ourchased itnless than a week ago. The only reason he knows my LINCOLN MKZ is 10 yrs. old is because I told them. My car is very nice- dealerships want to purchase from me. So laugh at that and BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE. This was great! Not only a good drive-thru wash that's affordable, but the free cleaning supplies were also a plus.

The 3 prong brushes used by the staff upon entering the was have scratched my truck twice now, the worst is on the tail gate, I'd hoped it had just left the white rubber the bristles are attached to but after pulling that off I saw the scratch that I'm unable to buff out, DO NOT recommend this wash unless you tell the staff do not use their brushes read more

Great facility, wash quality (shine) and freebies. Unlike other drive through car washes they have a conveyor system so it won't scratch your wheels. That being said, like any other contact car wash there is always a chance it can leave little scratches on your clear coat. All in all great - will most likely be buying a monthly pass. read more

I was reluctant to take my JKU through this car wash. I should have listened to my gut. Received a nice paint chip on the drivers side windshield support and the passenger side mirror was folded in and I had to snap it back in to place. Never going to another car wash again unless it's touchless. I could tell it was the car wash because there were paint chips on both sides in almost symmetrical locations. The driver's side was about the size of an eraser head. Luckily on the Jeep the windshield supports can be replaced with a black stainless steel after market part. read more

I "suspect" that my 2016 Jeep Wrangler (JKU) was damaged by this car wash. I have noticed paint chips around the windshield where the window bolts are. Both sides. I was hesitant using the car wash and even discussed it with the attendant so i know the paint chips did not exist prior to using this car wash. The marks are on both sides and i suspect the Chamois caused it. The car wash was violent enough to pin the ears back on my mirrors so I know there was enough force to cause damage. I have only had the Jeep since February and it was spotless of paint defects. I understand its a Jeep and that is to be expected and if it had been road damage I would not have worried about it. But volunteering for car damage is not on my list of things to do. I want to go back through the car wash just to alleviate my suspicions. It would be nice to know if anyone else suspects the same thing. read more

Second time here. Very impressed! The hoses were nice and clean. When I began vacuuming my rubber car mat, an employee came over and offered to pressure wash my rubber mats, as well as shine my tires! Car looks great, inside and out! These guys go above and beyond! I highly recommend. read more

First time to this car wash. Attendants did not prewash front bumper. Bug splatter on front bumper did not wash off. Bought the service that included tire shine. Tire shine was splotchy on all four tires. Will not come back. read more
