In a word, AVOID! I wish I'd checked the reviews on here before we called Nick out when we managed to puncture a central heating pipe, but we'd already been strung along by another Emergency Plumber for over six hours, and were pretty desperate. To be fair, he arrived within 10 minutes of his estimated ETA on a Friday evening, but that's about the only positive thing I can say about him and his work. Having "fixed" the original issue, he offered to return in a few days to check the repair (as it was obviously still wet) and re-plaster the wall. We were presented with a bill for £564 (including £180 for bleeding six upstairs radiators!), which when queried, we were told included the return visit. Extortionate, but we paid it, believing that the work was done, and he would be as good as his word regarding the follow-up visit. His "repair" has been leaking for 10 days, and he has defied repeated attempts to get him to return to fix his shoddy work, including the classic: "I forgot, sorry. I'll be with you tomorrow between 08:00-10:00". Suffice to say he did not return. He has been rude on the phone, and his emails (he only bothered to respond after we requested a partial refund) have been evasive, and full of inaccuracies. We've now had another Plumber out to fix Nick's work. He charged us £120, and his repair has actually worked, helped by using a correctly sized joint - he was scathing about Nick's workmanship and his charges. He left muttering darkly about "Cowboys ruining decent Plumbers' reputations". Enough said, really... I wouldn't trust Nick any further than I can spit. AVOID! read more

Zero stars Do not contact this man. He charges £150 per hour plus vat and we think covers his tracks so nothing can be proven. He then obviously changes all his numbers after another rip off So he can't be contacted. Sadly will have to put it down to experience... read more

I am not from San Francisco so cannot give a good review. Called these guys out for an emergency leak. Overcharged and promised to knock some off the final bill when the job was completed. Did not return and became abusive when we simply tried to contact him for an update. He threatened with the Police is we continued to harass him. We my mother saved him the bother as he prevented her leaving my house to get her bank card as he would not accept a cheque. Intimidation, false imprisonment as he demanded £282 via BACS immediately. Well, we're all blocked now and have been told to find another plumber so no chance of getting the overcharge knocked off the final bill. Complete rip-off! Avoid at all costs please. read more

Called out Nick and said he would be with us in the hour which he was. My wife and I were in panic mode due to leaking pipe which we could hear but not see and water showing on outside wall. The problem was quickly assessed a old mains water stop valve with a pin hole leakage. All sorted within 90mins and fully informed Price was what you expect for 1hr onsite fix. read more

Rang Storm Plumbers and they had arrived within an hour! Fixed the pipework in 45 minutes and did a fantastic job. Very professional, would highly recommend! read more

Disgusting customer service- I contacted the company just before 7am as they advertised as a 24hr emergency plumbing service, as water was leaking through my ceiling from the boiler pipes in the bathroom. I was told someone would arrive between 7:30- 8:30am. At 8:35 no one had arrived, I called and was told he was on his way. At 9:30am plumber arrived and said that he had fallen back to sleep. The plumber found the leak which I was grateful for but then sawed through the pipe in which I had to get on my hands and knees and hold a towel on the fountain of water coming out of the pipe whilst he was at the boiler. He left at 10:30 stating he would be 10 minutes at 11:40 he was not back so I called him he said he would be 5 minutes. At 12 noon he arrived and fixed the leak within 10 minutes or so. Until that point he hadn't mentioned cost or ways to pay. He then stated that he would email me the invoice and I could pay by bank transfer. I was left with damp floorboards which had to be left up and upturned carpet which he stated in all fairness he would come back and relay once the boards were dry. I received the invoice for £478.80, and was asked to pay by bank transfer. I stated that this was an awful lot and could I pay by credit card they responded no. I sent very polite emails asking why I hadn't been informed of payment options prior to any work taking place and felt upset that they'd been late and no apology. I advised them I'd pay the full balance via credit card as hadn't got that sort of disposable cash. I advised them how I felt about their customer service in a polite manner to which I received unprofessional emails threatening with a county court debt collection which was unnecessary as I'd not said I'd not pay. The communication via email was unprofessional and threatening. The responses were that of an argumentative friend via a text message not what you'd expect from a professional company. No apology and zero accountability for their tardiness, lack of communication or customer service in general. Not to mention how inappropriate the plumber was with his warped humour regarding cocaine parcels when an ebay drlivery arrived and my holiday attire that was in my spare room near a radiator. The entire experience has been awful. Having a leak is stressful enough with having to encounter poor customer service by both Nick and Sarah. Since having to ask family to help pay the invoice my dad who is in the trade noticed how the floorboards had been cut by Nick so they aren't attached to the joists which has now caused more issues at replacing the boards. Overall I put my faith in this company and have had a terrible experience. I wouldn't recommend. It saddens me to write such a poor review but sometimes the truth needs to be said. read more
