Fairly accommodating for my friend's service animal, along with mine. Both dogs stayed beside us while we skated and had lots of fun. Upon entry of the establishment an employee did inform us we wouldn't be allowed by the snack bar area due to sanitary reasons. This, however, is illegal as service animals are allowed anywhere the public is. We had no issues going to get snacks with our dogs and sat by the snack bar for a while with no complaints. Overall very nice place to skate!

I love it when an ice rink is packed, but the killer part was the lack of using the zamboni. I know times are very short (1pm - 3pm that day) but the ice was too rough to skate on at certain points. It would be nice if they did 1pm to 3:30pm or 4:00pm so the ice could be resurfaced mid-way. Other than that small detail, there are plenty of training "wheels" if you are new to skating (mainly for kids). Good exercise and they play great music!

I've never been to a rink where they didn't have one or more staff members skating on the rink to ensure safety and enforce rules. They didn't have any staff members anywhere near the rink. And they needed them! I hope they have good insurance! (though they had us sign a waiver before entering, which is the only time I've experienced that at a rink.) It wasn't crowded on the Sunday afternoon that we went, but it was really hard to skate. One kid going the wrong way around the rink, kids and *adults* cutting across the rink instead of going in an oval. One young teen stealing the skate assist device from his younger siblings and then zig-zagging across the rink while they tried to chase him to get it back. One guy doing his dance moves across the path of traffic - dude, go in the middle or a corner! One man standing in the path of traffic doing things on his phone. And then the usual of kids cutting across. The rink also doesn't have a wall around it, which means at any moment someone might decide to cut across as they enter or exit the rink. I'm a good skater, but multiple times I had to skate off of the rink to avoid crashing into someone behaving badly. It made it so not fun. And when people fell down, there was no staff to check they were ok or help them up like at other rinks. I would have given it one star, because I really just didn't want to stay (and I often stay for multiple hours at rinks), but there were some good things. The floor was good, and the price wasn't bad. There were plenty of places to sit. Music was decent though loud. There was a separate little rink for beginner skaters. We were there for the second half of an afternoon session and there were no games or couples skate or anything, and I didn't see any way to request your favorite song. I had to try 3 times to get a decent rental skate (first time they gave me the wrong size, second time one skate had a wheel loose), and the laces were messed up still. There are rinks that are more fun.

She doesn't know how to skate and she's not the most graceful person anyway. She's broken an arm from one of her falls, so she's scared to try to learn to skate. He assumed she was being a disrespectful kid because he told her three times in a row to go put her skates on. If he would have paid more attention she was already crying from him confronting her. She's very shy and not used to any adult talking to her like that. She would go to just hang out with her friends and she paid the money to get in. His rule is everyone one there under 18 has to have skates on? Why? I know when my husband and I were taking her a couple years ago she never even put a pair on, so he hasn't always had this rule and I wonder if it's posted anywhere inside, it should be if it's enforced . She wasn't hurting anyone and she cried for three hours after we picked her up and this nana wanted to throttle someone over this stupid unexplainable rule? I called him and ask if this was a state or local rule and he said nope it's my rule. So she has nowhere to go to spend harmless fun with her friends now, unfortunately that's pretty much only place in town for kids to go.

I plan to have my daughter's 4th Birthday party here. Initially I was trying to find a better, cleaner rink with better bathrooms but sadly that doesn't exist at a reasonable price point. So let's start with the good. The skating staff are exceptional. Even many of the super frequent patrons take it upon themselves to watch out for little kids and check on them every time they fall. Staff checked in several times and several young kids between 7 and 12 were constantly checking in with them after every fall, helping them get their trainers back etc. the music was super fun and my kids skated hard for 3 hours! They are 12, 5 and 3. I had to size down on my skates, pay extra for trainers and I wasn't impressed with the concessions at all. It took FOREVER for $7+ nachos, mozzarella sticks (overpriced as well), and a hot dog. The hot dog and drink were on special for $2.50 a piece so those were the best deal. But I spent nearly $100 on the 3 hours there with 3 kids and myself skating. And I don't understand how, at that price point they haven't upgraded anything in the 40 years it's been around. There is literal grime built up for 40 years, the bathrooms have short wood doors that someone tall could see over and there isn't much space at all. Not family friendly for a family establishment. I attended a party here probably about 13 years ago and was disappointed in the grime then as well. I told myself I'd never do one here. But I am because it's basically the only option. I do understand the nostalgia of not upgrading. I just think a good strip and wax of the floors or painting over some grime would go a long way.

Teenagers cutting around the ice pushing people over and just being a general nuisance for all the other skaters. Along with that I've watched/helped fallen skaters struggling to stand whilst they play. Whatever management change that has happened ruining this peaceful rink.

Leagues are affordable. They assist you in finding a team for you child if you need one. There is also great diversity in players and coaches. They have a great concession stand that is hardly ever closed, even if there are only a few games going on. For the most part, the reffing is great, and if there is an issue, you can always talk to someone up front and they get you connected to the person you need to talk to who will then take the time to watch part of the game.

First, the BB court my daughter played on has limited seating for parents. It is necessary to sit right outside the restrooms providing unpleasant smells all day. I think that is why they decided not to turn on the heat - to kill the germs. The second is that the people that run this are very unpleasant. I am all for establishing guidelines, especially when there are large amounts of juveniles. However, there is a nice and polite way to enforce them and then there is the way they do it here - "Get off that court it is not open right now. If you want to warm up go pay the rental fee at the concession stand." Hopefully we can avoid this place in the future.
