Bad choices were made. When on earth do you put very heavy things on lighter objects, while not using moving blankets or protection? It was a simple move into storage. Upon re-entering the storage unit at a later date, we found so many things broken, scratched and dented. They were completely careless with our things. In fact, instead of throwing away their energy drink cans, they stuffed them behind our furniture in the unit. We did our best to work with management in a professional and reasonable manner, providing evidence and only got ignored. Satisfaction IS NOT GUARANTEED. I am left with a loss. Hired these guys thanks to the solid Yelp reviews and ease of scheduling. Corinne was responsive until the end, whereby she indicated my ATV could be transported. The guys were dumbfounded. But the three stars is mainly to reflect that the morning started with a call to let me know they would be late due to two of the crew not showing up. Luckily they got one more guy to come in but this mean me, the homeowner, had to fill in as fifth man. Long and stressful move. Do not trust Denver Door-to-Door Movers (AKA Lark Movers). Their head guy, Adnan, promises a "100% accurate" quote, but it's a total bait-and-switch. They showed up short-handed, blew past their estimate by 3 hours--a massive 32% error--and charged an extra $1,029 for their own slow work. And get this, my move was super easy - all they had to do was to load the pre-packed boxes from my house and professionally unload the items into a secure warehouse 2.5 miles away. Simple! But the costly extra bill is nothing compared to how they trashed our stuff. Look at the photos. These guys are reckless and completely incompetent. They stacked heavy metal weights eight feet high on a plastic box and crushed it. They used a beautiful $3,800 patio table as a shelf until the table top dented and bent. They destroyed $4,460 of our property because they just did not care. When caught, they hid like cowards. I called and emails countless times. One time and employee said Adnan call me back. Instead, they ghosted us. They have zero integrity. They break your things, take your money, and run. Formal complaints are officially on file with the BBB and Colorado Department of Regulatory Affairs (DORA/PUC). It's so bad, my attorney is preparing this case for litigation in Boulder civil court. In the middle of the move, they said it will take way more time than "expected" and forced me to pay a LOT more $$$ or they wouldn't unload the truck. Awful company. We used this company. Would not recommend. When the guys showed up at the storage place, which is a drive up to the locker, they took 20 minute's trying to get the truck in a good spot. They only had a small box truck, our locker was only a 5X10. The place they were going to was less than 3 miles away. Once we got there, they were slow moving emptying the truck. When all was said and done, it took them almost 3 hours. Had to get that extra 15 minute's. Have another move in a month, will not use this company. read more

September 2020: I'm well into my senior years and Denver Door to Door movers took great care of me and my stuff. It all started with the pleasant professional voice when I first called. I called several companies for quotes and this was the only one that asked questions and answered mine. Two men and a truck showed up on time and moved us within the estimated time. I'm very pleased with this moving company and they did our move quickly. We moved one king size bed, one dresser, one hope chest, 2 construction totes and a lamp. Everything was great. However the movers wanted a ridiculous tip. And they want it in cash. I found them quite aggressive about the tipping aspect and for that reason they didn't get 5 stars. When offered 60.00 tip, that wasn't acceptable and they instantly pointed out what 25percent per mover would be. Shame on you because I don't like being forced to tip and then being told the tip isn't enough is greed. So this is the only job they get from us. read more

We had the best experience with Door To Door! Their team showed up right on time and were super professional. They only took one break in the mid morning and then met us over at our new place after their lunch. Seriously, the best movers! Bought boxes and packing paper at a great rate. They called while they were on their way for the scheduled move. The two guys busted ass for 4 hours and treated all of the items like their own. They moved large items up the stairs of an old Victorian home. There were mats placed to care of the hardwood. They are nothing short of amazing! I used them twice this month. The first time was to move my things from PODS into my new home and to separate the things I needed to donate from the things I needed to move in. They came in under the price quoted and really were very careful with my things! I had them come out a week later to help me switch out two adjustable beds from the first floor to the second floor. They managed to navigate very narrow hallways and not hit anybof the artwork that was hanging there. My movers in Seattle had mixed up all the parts and disconnected everything from the beds. They not only did that but they also figured out the wiring and put the bed frames together in addition to moving an antique bench that was entirely made of concrete.
