I usually like to know the price or if there's a special on some of food I purchase frequently. Staff is nice and friendly. There was a little dispute over the wording of the sale, but all sorted out when I ready to pay!

I am delighted to have the access to many unique and quality brands through this location. This is an one-stop shop for all things pet. The store carries pet supplies such as leashes, litter, training pads, grooming supplies, etc. On the day I visited, there was cat adoption services. This was the first time I saw a cat adoption practice at a GPF. Kudo to that! The food pricing and placement reflects the strategy to be an elite food supplier. The narrowly distributed pet food brands, such as Blackwoods and First Mate, are fairly expensive. The food brands that are more broadly available, such as Taste of the Wild, are not predominately displayed.

So we just found a location that closed to us. So we arrived around 1:15pm, that was not a long lineup, and the photo taken place was decorated and themed festively. The staff was really nice and helpful. Due to 3 cats too much work, we didn't bring them here. We completed the photo shoot and got some treats for our cats. There was a $5 coupon valid only this weekend. I didn't read it in store, I figured out after home, so I have to go to the store again the next day. At least, I got them some extra treats. And some specific brands earn 10x points. Thank you PetSmart for this thoughtful idea that we could take pictures with our little friends and get some discounts.

The back wall has birds for sale and a bunny in the window. Normally I'm against selling animals, however the lady who runs to store - nicest woman ever - lives in the back and is able to keep an eye on them 24 hrs a day. In another side room she carries fabulous high end dog foods like Fromm, Hills, Wellness, Acana etc. Lining the one wall is every toy a dog or cat could want with some well known names like Kong and some other ones not so well known but super cute (i.e. colourful zombie like dog toys). I finally found a rain poncho for my dog that didn't kill my pocket ($12.99) and we got free samples at the counter in little paper bags. She also has a lovely little dog named Gracie (Pug/Terrier cross) that will gladly accept belly rubs and will play tug of war. In additional this kind lady puts out free coffee and cupcakes for her customers on the way in the store. Overall, fabulous store!!! If your in the area and have a pet this is the place for you!!

Ren's is amazing and has a large inventory of items and really great sales (sometimes up to 40% off! the anniversary sale is the BEST). The main difference between Ren's and PetsMart is that Ren's sells mostly external well-known pet brands such as Stella and Chewy's, Outward Hound items, etc. where as the other store is now internalizing and producing a lot of in-house brands (i.e releasing products under a different name but still under the company). I am not knocking on them for doing this, but I've found that Ren's has a lot more exciting products from different brands that are well-known for a reason, and I love trying out new items. It's essentially a blend of PetValu's uniqueness and PetsMart's largeness. I've found their prices to be on par or maybe a little higher, but their sales are super good and I've now started to order online which is a really easy process. I particularly like this location as it's easy to travel to, location is great and not in a high traffic area, and staff are helpful and kind. LOVE REN'S. The staff are friendly and always willing to help - my dog absolutely loves them ^^ I'm so glad they carry Orijen, an award-winning, biologically appropriate dog food brand. Been using this brand for years and my dog still go crazy for it... smells and tastes great, I am assuming lol. Nomnom also loves her Greenies cacine dental treats... because brushing her teeth is harder than getting a screaming kid to eat their veggies lol. Ren's pretty much have anything you can think of - food, treats, collars & leashes, toys, cute socks & booties, winter jacket, comfy beds, travel kits, grooming essentials - truly a one stop shop for all your pet needs!
