Earlier this year, our gutters and front awning were damaged in a storm. I'm normally a DIY kind of person, but I've been suffering from a lack of mobility for the past year or so after a back injury, and found that I wasn't going to be able to get around to doing any kind of repair myself. We dreaded the cost, but bit the bullet and reached out to a few local contractors. These guys responded quick, came out quick for the initial assessment and quote, and gave us a reasonable price and timeframe for the work. A few other companies had comparable prices, several were much more expensive, but the professional communication from this team sold us. The job had to be rescheduled, at first, because of weather, and then again due to the unpredictable schedules that come with custom work, but they responded quickly to calls and e-mails, and kept us in the loop. Finally, the big day came, and during the course of setting up to work, they noticed some issues with our house's novel construction, especially with the way our roofers had not left much of an overhang with our drip edge and shingles. At first, we were worried this was going to turn into a much more expensive job, or that we'd have to start shopping around again, but were pleasantly surprised when the owner himself came out to take a look, with one of their more senior employees, who quickly identified a likely solution. Not only are they going forward with the job as soon as possible, but they're honoring their original quote despite the extra work and materials, partially to make up for the initial scheduling delays. A far better experience, so far, than being left in the dark by other companies we've worked with recently, and it's refreshing to have a company honor their own quote without sneaky fees, last-minute upselling, or bait-and-switch tactics even in the face of unforeseen complications. I'm impressed.

I drove 30+ miles round trip as his delivery driver and I received all of my money from the delivery service. Chad did not leave me any money as a tip. I picked up all of his stuff and hand delivered it to the door and they told me, "just leave it anywhere" and did not receive any type of gratuity in person either. This is the way that I provide for my family so to see that there are people in this town that will have you drive from Frankfort to Lawrenceburg and back with no tip is just sad. Do better.

They do not know how to place wires in the center of a stud where drywall screws cant hit them. (see pics) They do not know how to center lights in a room, unless you have a +/- 1 foot tolerance. One of the pics shows where they installed the ceiling fan box and where the room center actually is when running string from the rooms corners. They also do not use nailing plates to protect their shady work. They didn't even run wires to my outside HVAC units. I had to go back and check and correct things and never complained about their job. It has been over a month since I last texted him about finishing up and still no response. He has cost me more money, time/delays because of the way he (Chad Pinkston) does business. I had to find someone else to finish the job. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company.
