We went in to the store and asked because it was after three and found out there is an admission booth further down on the field. We made our way down there and paid the admission and were each given a small bag to pick apples. Most of them were roped off except for the last few rows. In the way to that they had some really cute photo opps in a Zinnia field and in a sunflower field. The lady in the store yelled at my son in law for standing by a rope to look at the cider. Other than a few missteps, we thought it was worth the trip. The only downfall is there was no food to eat except for snacks. The donuts are only on Sat. And Sunday.

Most of the sunflowers were gone but I was able to cut a few for a vase at home. I can't imagine how pretty it was in full bloom. There were still raspberries to pick and beautiful wildflower fields to pick from. There is a corn maze, pumpkin patches and a fun enchanted garden to wanter through. Definitely on my list to revist next year!

I have been riding at hillside for almost 6 years!!! horse back riding is a really expensive sport,…read morebut because of margie and her prices i am able to horseback ride. their is such an amazing community and i have made so many amazing friends. their are so many horses for so many levels. hillside is not abusive, supportive barn. you will never be made fun of, or bullied at hillside. no matter your level, you will be treated with respect. i have learned to much because of margie (owner and instructor). anyone who has met margie knows how nice, funnny, and talented she is. margie has 3 sweet dogs, and lots of horses (over 28). i love all the people at hillside, and i hope if you are considering going here, this is your sign to.

Margie is the best! Margie is the trainer and co-owner here, and she is a fabulous trainer. She has…read moreapproximately 30 horses of all ability levels, meaning there is a horse for everybody. This is a great place to start learning to ride or to continue to develop your jumping skills. Margie is also a great fan of polo, and both teaches polo and puts together teams. If you've never played polo, this is a great place to learn. One of the things I especially appreciate about Margie is that she's very flexible with scheduling lessons, which is fabulous for a working adult who has to schedule around work commitments. I've ridden at a number of facilities, and I like this place the best. The other ridders out there are supportive, and it just feels like home. Overall a great place!

I've been coming here for four years and will not be returning. The apples are good quality and…read moregreat varieties but they micromanaged our experience to the point of unpleasantness. We were several adults and were approached by four different employees with instructions on how to hold our bags, how to pick, where to pick even though rows have colored ribbons to direct you. It might have made sense if we would've had unruly kids in our party but that was not the case. Honestly, it was just odd and not worth the 40 min. drive. So sad because I love their apples. I think if they're that uncomfortable with people walking around picking apples, they should consider becoming a commercial orchard and not open it to the public. Maybe it's coming from a good place of trying to manage their property but again, we were simply walking down isles. FYI: The apple cider donuts are fantastic so you could just go in their store and get them and already-bagged apples and save yourself the lesson on to hold a bag.

Not surprising that the guy working there didn't have a mask. They did have a plexiglass partition in front to the register, but that's not where they were when I stepped in. Prices were okay from what I quickly gauged. Plenty of parking, but I guess when you only want a certain type of customer, that's what happens. I realize that feed store staff tends to trend right, but this was even more so than the others i've been to in the area. As someone of "the mainstream", I won't be back.
