We love Peck and Bushel! We have gone the last two years for apple picking and both times have had good experiences. They have a beautiful orchard absolutely full of apples at all picking heights, not too crowded, and the farm store has so many delicious goodies. The employees are all friendly and helpful. I appreciate there are different varieties of apples available throughout the season. I also love that the apples are organic. The quality difference vs a grocery store is incomparable. You get what you pay for, and at $32 a peck these are absolutely worth it. The cider and apple cider donuts are an absolute must! I always pick up some of their local honey, too. We haven't tried their build your own caramel apple station but I love that they are served cut in a tray so you can easily share! Peck and Bushel is the perfect local spot for apple picking.

Super cute apple picking spot! My only complaint is that a lot of the orchard felt picked through, but we did go in the late afternoon so that could be why. The store was very clean, and had lots of fun goodies. The apple cider donuts were phenomenal! I would definitely go back for the donuts alodrop

Beautiful grounds and the apples are delish. Make sure to get some hot cider and apple cider donuts before you leave.

Although it's still pretty hot and humid outside; it's definitely apple picking season and Peck and Bushel is an ideal place for this outing. Their store has pre-picked apples you can buy along with an assortment of apple goodies. My favorite of course are the apple cider donuts. We decided to pick our own and made sure to try the samples before we headed out so we knew which ones we wanted to pick. The orchard is well laid out and the rows of apples are clearly marked. If you go in the next couple of weeks before it cools down; I would highly suggest bringing along the bug spray. This is a short drive outside of Milwaukee. For a peck of apples it is $28, which may seem high, but totally worth it!

Love this place. Organic apples - you pick or they pick. Carefully curated gifts and assortment of items. The design & style of the building is wonderful. There is a nice place with casual tables upstairs to bring your coffee & apple crisp, cider donuts or walnut bars (my favorite) -enjoy! It's a annual tradition now!

Absolutely love this place. Small, friendly, modern farmhouse, and the Zestar apples are our new favorite. These fruit and grain mixture is too good!

tl;dr Simplicity at its best. Delicious organic apples in a serene environment. What more do you need? Start your apple adventure inside the gorgeous new yet perfectly rusty chic barn by sampling the available organic apple varieties so you know what to grab. As well, sample the cider! Next, decide to pick your own or grab from the quarter, half or full peck pre-picked bags. I'd recommend picking your own, as the walk through the woods to the orchard is wonderful, plus there's a tree swing along the way. After grabbing your apples, come on back to the barn for some caramel apples your way, with all the toppings you want. Plus, they're available pre-chopped to make them easier to devour with the rest of your family and friends. Our favorite varieties so far have been the Zestar, Pixie Crunch, CrimsonCrisp, and Pazazz. The main reason for one less star than perfect? $$$ Pricey indeed.

It was a great place for family and friends. The company chose natural, organic methods of fruit production thus ensuring a healthy eating experience. Started in 2010 by husband and wife, the company now grows a great variety of apples, 25 to be very specific. We enjoyed certified-organic, freshly squeezed apple cider pressed on-site at their cider house. The experience of pick-your-own apples was something unusual and the season starts mid-to-late August and runs through mid-October. Bags of picked apples are offered for sale in the barn, but the excitement of your own-handpicked apples was fantastic. Lots of fun picking apples. The apples and the cider were very delicious. The little nature walk to the orchard was fun. Their eating area and storage facility were very clean and enchanting. The staff was courteous and the service was helpful.

Nice place. Pricey but very nice. I picked up some decorative jars and flavored honey straws for cocktails

Cute little orchard We found it online in the search for an organic apple orchard Prices aren't cheap but organic isn't cheap & you get to pick apples right off the tree! The taste is incredible! The trees were loaded with tons of apples & they were dwarf trees so people/kids of all heights can reach apples. Call or check website to see what type is in season & being picked. The little walk thru the mini woods was fun too- good for pics with the kids. Staff was very friendly & helpful Make a trip & go visit - take the back roads & enjoy a day In Wisconsin

Dwarf trees! You can reach all the apples easily.

They were Mac Daddy Sandwich and Soo-Eee! We 5 friends shared and tried them along with the tomato soup that comes with it. I am ready to try the other flavors at the next event. La Duc's offered the Ice Cream Sandwich which is two large chocolate chip cookies with a delicious custard center. It was solidly frozen and we let it sit for a few minutes to soften up a bit. We then broke it up with spoons and ate it in yummy chunks which is just how it should be eaten, IMHO. The evening was packed with families with infants, children, parents, friends, and all ages. This is what a summer evening should be. Kids have a large sand play area and lots of grassy areas to run wild. And the fresh products for sale inside the store are always top quality and worth purchasing. My only glitch is how loud the music is, which negates the ease of conversations. We bring a table and card games and yelling to each other is needed to converse. We sit away from the band but it is still a bit loud. Last night the music was varied in genre and fun.

It was a nice surprise that on the inside there was this farmers market full of local produce. That also looked great. you must check this out if you're in the area.
