While he was there I asked if he could also install a small TV mount on a brick wall in my kitchen. He said he could do both jobs and gave me a very reasonable price quote. He came by a few days later and very quickly installed the fan and TV mount. In fact it was so quick and easy that he did it in less time than expected, so he adjusted the price lower for me. Called MJM Sunday afternoon, they called back Monday morning, and we had someone on Tuesday at noon. They sent Tim out, who was awesome. Came in, gave it 2 looks, said he had to go back and get some supplies, and came back and banged it out - whole thing took maybe an hour. I didn't really care too much about cost at that point because my son was home from the hospital so the nursery was out of commission for the first day he was home but it was super reasonable to get fixed. Like to the point where i should have just called them to hang it originally. Plus there's some peace of mind from having a pro do it. Will definitely call MJM if I need electrical work in the future.

When I went back to the property 3 days later I found out the electric had been shut off! Which in turn shut off our boilers for heat, and it was 40* in the house! When I called the electric company to get it turned back on the told me Twin City hadn't had their work inspected from the town so we could not get it turned back on. I called the owner Mike Friday and Saturday with NO response, finally on Sunday when I left and irate voicemail he called back and came to the house and said it was an oversight by his office... instead of appropriately fixing the problem, he ILLEGALLY cut off the lock out tag from National Grid, and asked us to keep it quiet. We had over $5500.00 in damages that our insurance claim denied because the service had been turned off due to the negligence of Mike Murphy and his company. While we were doing repairs and working with our insurance, Mr Murphy claimed it was his error, asked our deductible so he could cover it and said if insurance denied our claim he would work it out with us. Once we let him rectify the illegal work he did and get the town inspection, we never heard from him again. Our attorney sent him a letter with the charges and he is now claiming WE were responsible for the inspection! I understand it was an oversight not to get the inspection done, but it was his responsibility and that caused major damage at our property! He is untruthful, unethical, and we will be moving forward with a lawsuit. I hope his conscious will kick in and he will rectify the situation!

For a recent project I had called ten different companies, four called me back, three gave me quotes, one quote was insanely expensive for a simple job. The other was very cheap, yet day by day, "oh, we got busy see you tomorrow." Ummmmm. No. I work. Twin City gave me an estimate, when they said they would. Cost was more than reasonable and the crew came on time and was more than personable. Great owner and company.

After calling him, he was responsive in getting me a quote. Although it took about a month until he had availability to do the job, once it came time to do the job, he was professional and very communicative. A joy to work with as a contractor. He also got a permit and did everything by the book and had very reasonable pricing. In my case, I had a 220 line he had to run and a small outside light to install. All in all, I'm very happy with his work. He does residential jobs on the side to teach his son the trade, so his availabilty might be limited, but if you're looking for electrical work in the Falls, I definitely recommend giving him a call and seeing if he can help you out. #ServiceStarShoutOut
