One of the staff brought us over to the jewelry and helped us pick out what we wanted. They're very knowledgeable. Then we went into the piercing room. I can't say enough about Casandra!! She is absolutely fantastic. She did an amazing job with everybody. We all got different types of piercings ear, nose, etc. We could all be in the same room and support each other. Seriously disappointed. My snakebites from here are horribly lopsided. Each was done on separate times. This is fully healed, the line on my lip is just from having a hoop before changing jewelry. The larger the more obvious which is really sad because I like large pieces, I didn't pay over $100 to only get away with small dots. Hoops looked okay but one always stuck out more than the other because of the lopsidedness It's been a long time since getting these piercings from here but I have always been upset by this and tell people they're not worth the price nor trip. One is much closer to the corner of my lip while the other is lower and centered. This is not just from switching jewelry it has always been off. For the prices they charge you would expect they know what symmetry looks like. Edit: To answer the owner's question- Yes, there were in fact both done at your establishment. It took so long because I wanted to have the benefit of the doubt during the healing process, and tried to compromise with hoops so the asymmetry was more subtle. As swift of a fix as getting repierced sounds, it's disappointing and inconvenient to even need it done in the first place, and out of all of my piercings the oral ones hurt the most. It's not something I'm exactly eager to dive into solving given the sheer discomfort of going through the healing process on two separate occasions. It's not obvious with the tiny studs we start with on top of my lip being three sizes larger than the other side- given this, of course I would not be able to tell how symmetrical the final result would be. I would not take out a swollen piercing on the off chance it's slightly misplaced and have to pay to be repierced in the same place if it were fine. There was genuinely not a way to tell, I don't think it's fair to expect I know based on two tiny purple dots, that is why I'm having someone trained do it. Hope the added information helped. It may be surprising for customers to have a delay in resolution, but that doesn't make us dishonest. read more

My friends and I adore STTP. By our second visit, the staff knew us all by name and made us feel so excited and prioritized every time we walked in. I took my mom and sister during graduation and they loved it, even deciding to get pierced as well! Cassandra and my queen, Veronica, are incredibly skilled. Ive never had to correct a placement and they pierce quickly, accurately, and are incredibly communicative through the process. Lilly and Izzy are absolute delights and so knowledgeable when checking you in and helping you choose jewelry. They have beautiful and high quality pieces that they can initially pierce you with, with a wide price range from $30-$500, and will even custom order you pieces they might be out of or do not carry in store. Since going to STTP I've gotten 7 new piercings that are all healing beautifully, and will be making the trip back to Tucson if I want any more piercings. I went in to get a septum piercing and it cost around $70 to get it done, I was excited and all was going good, the piercer I got she seemed very professional and seemed like she knew what she was doing. I go through the process of the piercing and it hurt a lot which I know it's not supposed to. She told me "it's going to look like I pierced it wrong but I didn't" so I believed her paid and left. When I leave the store my nose starts hurts so badly it starts to be almost unbearable. This piercer also encouraged me to flip my piercing up and down but anytime I tried to I was in excruciating pain. A few days go by and it still hurts and i take a close look at my piercing and it's too low and it's started rejecting. I informed the piercer that I had to remove my piercing because of pain and how the piercing was incorrectly pierced to ask for a refund. I did get my refund of $70 but did not get my $20 tip back. The refund was immediate and she didn't ask any further questions after showing her the photos of my piercing. I was going to leave it at that and not write a review or anything because I got my refund and my nose healed pretty quickly after the fact. So I wanted to get my septum redone and went to a piercing and tattoo shop called Three Keys tattoo (highly recommend piers he knows what he's doing) I go into the shop and off the bat he says he wants to first check if I have the anatomy for a septum. Turns out I don't at all and there is almost no sweet spot in my nose. So then I just get a nostril piercing instead, no bleeding or anything he was very upfront and professional. The woman that pierced my nose at straight to the point caused me pain that could've been avoided if she stepped forward to tell me I don't have the right anatomy for this piercing. I dont recommend going here without caution. I'm giving 1 star because I trusted STTP but they didn't know what the were doing and I wish they did. I'm sure a lot of piercings will be good for others but if your unsure if you have the right anatomy for any piercing don't go here because they probably won't tell you if you do or don't. read more

I absolutely ADORE all the staff here, I've been going for years and would recommend to anyone and everyone! I've gotten 3 lobes, 2 helix, and now my belly button pierced. And along the way I've brought in my boyfriend to get his ears pierced. All the staff have been so kind and I would always say the wait is worth it. Today I went in to get my first non ear piercing, my belly button, and I was absolutely spooked. I ended up waiting extra long to be pierced by the owner, Lisa. Lemme flash back real quick, a few years ago I decided I wanted to get my doubles, only people is my first was wonky on one side due to a poorly placed piercing gun piercing from an unnamed store in the mall. This made it impossible for me to get even second piercings. First we tried to close it, but unfortunately that didn't work. So Lisa took her experience and insane skill and pierced a new first, and then my doubles. Making them as symmetrical as possible, and since then they are perfectly healed. So back to today... once I was able to see Lisa I was quickly recognized for coming in with my boyfriend around a week prior to get his studs changed to hoops. It was crazy to see her memory and kindness, just chatting and saying "oh he's at work" and her remembering where he works. Wow! Her social abilities mixed with her skills made all nerves fly right away. And she marked me up, checking all her work. And then I laid down and boom. Perfectly pierced and I'm so so happy!! She even gifted me the piercing If you ever have the opportunity to be pierced by this amazing staff, or even just to purchase jewlry... GO GO GO!! read more

They asked if I had an allergic reaction to a previous pierce. I said yes. They recommended Titanium and explained why. They did have the 14k gold. As other reviewers have mentioned, the shop is very nice and well appointed. The jewelry cases are nicely lit and it offer nice ambiance. However, my experience did not match up with what I imagined was a high end shop. I walked into this shop simply to purchase a new nose stud after I accidentally threw my original 15 year old piece away. I chose STTP for the overall rating. Upon arriving, there were a few people already inside. I had to get in line to sign up for an appointment to select a new piece of jewelry. I thought it was a little odd since all I needed was a new stud. My piercing is 15 years old, so I didn't imagine I'd need help putting a new one in. Anyway, they said it was free to put it in so I accepted their offer. While we waited, more and more people piled into the shop. While I very much appreciate that they have contactless payment set-up, there were no physical distancing measures in place. I waited approximately 20-25 minutes and for me, it was uncomfortable to see so many people inside the shop. When it came to selecting my new nose stud, I was underwhelmed by their selection. I have sensitive skin so surgical steel is the best option for me. Studs are $15.00 and nothing special. After selecting the new piece they took it to the back to get cleaned and I was directed to little space in the back that seemed sufficiently sterile. The staff member who put my new stud in had sterile equipment that was still in it's packaging. The only thing that was skipped over was prepping my skin with an alcohol wipe to at least clean off the area. But I didn't give it too much thought since in my 15 years of having a nose stud I had never gotten an infection. Putting the new piece of jewelry was as painful as the day I got my nose pierced. There was a lot of pressure and I felt a "pop" on my cartilage. This made me very nervous and I expressed that to the employee. I only waited 4 days to replace the stud I had thrown out so there is no way a 15 year old piercing would have needed any form of re-piercing. Needless to say, I ended up with an infection- pus, redness, pain. I called the shop on Monday morning but they were closed, so I followed up with a DM on Instagram. No one ever replied to me. I ended up treating the infection with antibiotics. A week later it's getting better. Personally, I will not recommend this shop to my friends and I don't plan on returning. One-star reviews are the last thing I want to publish. I love small business and support them 100% but this was not a good experience and I hope my feedback is taken into consideration. Infections are not to be taken lightly. read more

What an absolute magical experience. I have SO much gratitude for this locally owned business I wish I could give them countless more stars. My friend made an appointment for myself and mother-in-law for her birthday surprise. We walked in and all employees were welcoming, helpful and kind. After doing all the paperwork info via iPhones, we sat comfortably and chatted with staff, other customers and felt relaxed. The energy all around was warm and visually stunning. All three of us saw the owner Alex and had the most incredible time chatting. He is a master at his profession for sure! Great experience here! My friend got her septum pierced and I came along for moral support. It was busy, but not over whelming and the process was well organized. You make an appointment over the phone and check in when you get there to complete a liability form and show your ID. We were then called up to choose jewelry. She picked a simple silver ring that was $30, piercing was $30 for $60 total. I ended up choosing new jewelry for my conch which starts at $45. We waiting a little longer and then we're called up for the piercing. She was pierced by Leo who was SO wonderful, great energy and very gentle. read more

I'm not a piercing/tattoo kind of person either but I felt welcomed immediately. There were people of all ages, including young children. You should schedule an appointment (go to their website) because they are popular. I think they are only open several days a week. I can't remember the name of my technician but he was nice and knowledgeable. I doubt I'll be back because I don't need any more holes in my body but I'm glad that I found them. I was in need of several ré piercings and had been here before. They do encourage you to make an appointment but I found this to take more time than actually walking in. I had to wait a very long time. So what's the point of making an appointment if they aren't going to be respectful of your time and honor that time? Also I was told I needed to come back and have shorter posts to replace the ones they originally put in. What no one neglected to tell me was that is would cost more money. I paid quite a bit for the original earrings. I understand that the first studs had to have some extra room for swelling as they are healing, but to charge me again for shorter titanium posts is too much - Especially when they never told me it would cost more money! Took my daughter to get some helix piercings. The shop is incredibly cute and the lobby has a kind of spa like atmosphere. Everyone is quiet and gentle leading to a more relaxed experienced. It's super clean environment and lovely decor is so inviting, but the cherry on top at this place is all the staff that were working there! I appreciare the fact that everyone is so friendly, the company's message to their customers encouraging everyone to feel beautiful in their newly decorated skin, and their very clean environment!
